WORST HOTEL IN KENT. Do not attend. Advertised as luxury but you they have 2 pushed together single beds claiming to be a ‘luxury super king sized bed’ when pointed out to management I was told this is what most hotels do?? Maybe a premier inn or travelodge. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Stupidly overpriced, furniture is falling apart and there’s a horrible smell in the building at all times.. needs to be demolished asap! Country house? It’s on a main road next to a building site, no country in sight so DONT BE FOOLED!

Lovely two night stay with our dog . Enjoyed a lovely meal in the snug by the fire..this was lit and ready for us each day st breakfast also. Feel like we were spoilt it really was wonderful and can't wait to return one day. The spa was amazing and I had a very nice relaxing aromatherapy facial.. thoroughly enjoyable from the minute we arrived and great customer service by all the staff. The Asbhy Suite was perfect and definitely recommend to everyone. Thank you for such a lovely 2 night birthday treat.

A busy hotel that is not good at attention to details and not really interested in being child-friendly. Positives: Good breakfast Mostly friendly and helpful staff Pool and the jacuzzi Cosy lounge with fireplace Negatives: 1) Room was 19 degrees and heater wasn’t working. They were helpful and changed our room but our toddler had to stay awake 2 more hours and all the bedtime routine was ruined. There were no apologies. They only asked if the new room was alright at checkout. 2) Their travel cot had the thinnest travel cot mattress. On top of it they put multiple layers of thin duvets with an effort to make it softer it seemed. Looked very uncomfortable and the baby wasn’t happy sleeping on it. For the money they charge, they should have put a proper cot mattress. I would be so ashamed to tell my guests to put their baby on such setup if I were them. 3) The beds are not double beds even though you select it during booking. They just put 2 beds together like a cheap bed&breakfast place. My partner’s bed was significantly higher than mine. We basically slept on 2 separate levels. Also the pillow seemed very old, it was flattened and rock solid. 4) I made a reservation for dinner via email. Noone mentioned that they only had a fixed price menu (£50) for that night and no a la carte menu was available. We learned after we were seated. They knew we had 2 toddlers at our reservation. Yet no food option was available for the kids, as well as alternative dietary needs. We had to find a restaurant nearby last minute. It wasn’t the easiest journey with 2 hungry toddlers. 5) The pool and the surrounding areas were packed. There were so many people whom seemed to be there for a spa day. With 2 babies, we couldn’t even find a spot to put our towels. They have a few hours during the day that are dedicated to families but it was still packed with many people. I understand that it was the holiday season but when you pay a premium, you expect the hotel to limit the capacity.

Went for Xmas day dinner. Nice hotel. Food was nice, service a bit slow for drinks at the table. The clientele was quite old so bit of a quiet atmosphere.

Lots of parking? The hotel looked very well presented, we were there for a christmas meal. The only down side, was the food wasn't particularly great. The vegetables must have been shown the water. The meat was lovely. I didn't stay, so I can't comment on any rooms or treatments at the hotel.

Excellent evening spa experience. We came here for our wedding anniversary and had great time. We had back ritual and Meg and Beth were both excellent. The dinner was also amazing. I really want to say well done for the option of night spa experience,as it is a great opportunity to celebrate in style even though if you are working during the day. We will back again.

Highly recommended oasis. Rooms are lovely and large, combining old mansion style house with contemporary. Staff in charge go out of their way to sort any issues out and dealt with quickly. The breakfasts are lovely but the dinner in the Lakes restaurant can be touch and go. The Spa is amazing, you can spend hours there easily although the chlorine is too concentrated and my eyes were blood shot after a while in the pool and jacuzzi.

We stayed here for our 1st wedding anniversary on 6th July. The staff were so friendly and professional. Our room was beautifully decorated and so peaceful. We had dinner in the lakes restaurant on the Saturday evening and the food and service was amazing. We were treated so special as it was our anniversary. The food was perfect like a top chef would make! Breakfast is a choice of a gorgeous English breakfast or salmon with scrambled eggs or a continental breakfast. Delicious! I tried both options of hot breakfasts on the two mornings we stayed there. The spa is lovely and I had a really relaxing hot stones massage and my husband a fully body massage. The only complaint I would have is that the chlorine in the pool/hot tub was stinging my eyes so I couldn't stay in it for too long. Thank you so much to the staff for their extended hospitality. Would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely come again!

What a brilliant time we had here on Saturday to surprise. From the moment we spoke to the amazing Events team (in particular Jo) we knew our surprise was going to be fabulous. The event space, staff and food were amazing and we had so much fun and cannot wait to go back. The room was decorated spectacularly and it was one of the nicest venues we have worked with - thank you so so much for being so amazing and thinking of absolutely everything - what a team!

An excellent and ever-changing choice of real ale, kept in perfect condition. There's a comfortable function / darts room at the back. I was there for a pint and a meeting in the back room so I can't comment on food. I like the constantly changing choice of real ale available.

Needed to be fed and rang on the off chance that they could feed us fairly late in evening. No problem, told to pop round ASAP. Friendly welcome on arrival. Excellent meal with 1/2 litre of wine in jug. Just about right. Sad news , they are closing in the new year and staff going back to the "Greek" in Maidstone. We are not islanders and only two places would dare the eat on the island, here and a little micro pub in Queenbourgh. :) Crying shame but classic case of use it lose it.
