Staff are friendly and nice, most things are cooked fresh while you wait, they also offer homemade deserts. I would recommend a visit.

We arrived for lunchtime the restaurant is clean tidy and plenty of tables and chairs, The service was really good, The staff very friendly. We got a table and the staff came over straight away asking if we wanted drinks before looking at the menu the young girl who waited on us was so lovely and made us laugh 😃 she was really friendly asset to the restaurant, When the food arrived it was very hot and amazing great fish and chips lovely flakes of cod which is the best way to have cod great batter lovely chips 🍟 😋 😀 I would defo recommend to all great service great staff great food 👍 😀 thank you all for a lovely meal 5star all the way keep up the good work.

We have been customers on and off for over 40 years but recently try at least once a week. Can honestly say that we have never been disappointed with the food or the hospitality. The staff are always pleasant and helpful particularly now as I recently had a stroke. The food is always tasty and plentiful particularly the breakfasts. Good value.

First time visit today. Only had a medium chips. Chips were nice and fresh. I'm my opinion portion size was a bit small for the £4.10 that I paid. Would probably visit again.

We got fish and chips from here cod was over cook cracking was hard to eat the chips were not nice either dry and hard was talking so one outside said was giving them there last chance 1 won't use for a while as I think mite be local but not quite up to scratch

Service was very good. Happy chatty lady. Food was lovely and fresh. Nice portion size And didn't have to wait long. Decided to have a pudding (even though we had no room) but the food coma was worth it. Highly recommend salted caramel cheesecake!

We’ve been here a few times recently. The staff have always been so helpful and welcoming. We’ve had the most superb fish and chips. Smaller portions available but I take my left overs home for later! Vegan daughter thrilled to have a quorn sausage in batter, mushrooms and chips. At my last visit a choice of instant or ground coffee. Instant for me every time, made my day!

My wife and I fancied cod and chips for lunch so we travelled over Too Teynham crispins fish bar, we ordered cod and chips too take away and Eat in our car, I can honestly say it was superb, we will definitely be going back Very soon, thank you it was cooked to perfection,

Had to have takeaway restaurant not open had to wait for food to be cooked large portions of chips no large sausages so had to have small and sit in a cold car eating the food

All 6 of us had smashing food which was served with a smile. The service was excellent and the whole evening meal was excellent value for money

Food is great but is ruined but the rudeness of staff and the dirty looks they give when a autistic child is being himself, it isnt once ive noticed the rudeness and seems to be coming from the lady incharge.

Nice pace to go to in restaurant is better fish and chips but the chip need be cook more so they are bit more Crispy a bit soft, but is doing a bit more my opinion

Been there today at lunchtime, very nice young lady at the counter, we had 2 large cod,s and chips with condiments, 2 cans of drink and a gypsy tart and don't forget the large plain sosage while we were waiting, all for £30 .excellent quality. Thank you

1st time I came here the chips where amazing the size was well worth the large status and the staff (a gentleman with glasses and women)where extremely friendly and welcoming. This time round I’m afraid to say was a little disappointing. Went for a small as the large was too much for me last time and got given something that wouldn’t of even filled up my 6 year old and they weren’t that great either I’m afraid to say. The services was poor with the lady not acting like she wanted to be there.

Chips wasn't very nice they was hot but under cooked

Been many times but this time a disappointment, waitress lovely but service extremely slow . There was only another two tables in , so no excuse , food lacked potion size , quality , my chicken breast burger had been dropped in the fryer and placed into a dry partly toasted bread bun . And my friends sausages were deep fried . Overly priced ....

Tried there yesterday for the first time. When I got home they’d left out items from my order. Phoned them up to let them know and they explained that they were sorry and replaced my whole order on return. Thank you Emily. Btw lovely fish and chips😋

It was a long time since I last visited Crispin's and was feeling like something on way home from work.i had med cod and chips, unfortunately the fish was very dry almost chewey and the chips were disappointing,quite bland and not really what I expected from somewhere like this at the price.

Service needs to be faster. It wasn't a busy time as well

Great place for an English Breakfast

We have now used Crispin's seated area twice now, the food was cooked to perfection and very efficient and friendly staff.

We just called in for a takeaway coffee. Ordered 2 mocha but sadly they were really awful, the worst ever and definitely overpriced at £3.80 each. Way more pricey than Costa or Starbucks. Such a shame as it is a convenient location to grab a coffee

Always great when we eat here. We travel quite a distance for Crispins which speaks volumes.

We've used the take away regularly over the years but never thought of dining in - until now. The restaurant is clean, simply furnished with plenty of room. We were given a warm welcome by the waitress who was friendly and efficient. Being a Friday we all opted for fish suppers. The food was hot, simply presented, well-cooked and tasty (the fish being flaky with just the right amount of crispy batter) - with portion sizes just about right. We followed up with desserts, of which there was plenty of choice. They even accommodated my request for Gypsy Tart with hot custard - I'm not weird, honest! Two courses with a drink worked out at about £20 per person. An added bonus is that you can park right outside. We'll certainly be going back. Recommended.

Such a great meal,lovely large cod for him with the works and for me a home made steak and kidney pie which is probably the best home made I have ever had . Staff were brilliant and so helpful couldn't do enough to help.it a pity we don't live in the area as we would be regulars.

We previously had visited Cripins restaurant at least once a month and loved the place but illness caused a 6month break. Today we returned and unfortunately I believe it has changed hands and we were so disappointed in our meals. The chips were hard and dry, the fish was wet which resulted in the bottom batter being soggy and the plate becoming wet.Also in the past we enjoyed the local made apple/pear juice on offer but today's choice was tins of tasteless French fruit juice or a milkshake. I'm afraid we won't be returning unlike my fish which as just gone down the toilet pan

We opted for a take-away instead of eating in the restaurant and found the service was quick and efficient and the food was tasty. I was very surprised to see some negative reviews of this place as we didn't have any problems at all.

This place has gone downhill! Chips are not cooked properly, and serve up c4ap fish when you take away. Batter is wooley and fish tastes like it was frozen for months. Used to be much better years ago. There are much better options in Sittingbourne. Avoid!

To be honest I thought the fish was expensive and it looked and tasted as if the fish had been re cooked,like double cooked chips. Batter was very hard and darker than I would expect.

It's hard to find a fish and chip shop that has both the best chips and the best fish batter but have found this with Crispins. Only wish they were open later sometimes.

You often hear us old foggies moaning about how things today are not as good as when we were young! And in most cases we are right!!! But when it comes to my favourite food, fish and chips, Crispins Fish Bar in Teynham will transport you back to when fish and chips was the best meal for the whole family! Always cooked to order, so always fresh, tasty batter, beautiful fresh fish, and chips crispy on the outside and tasty on the inside! Pleasant friendly staff, and a huge car park. Today's prices? Yes! But if you want consistant quality, and a real old fashioned fish and chip dinner, you don't mind. Clean plates are the proof!!! However, Ukraine, Petrol prices, Corona Viruse and the Prime Ministers Bunga Bunga Parties have doubled the price of large Cod and Chips, and a Gurkin, from £5 up to £10!!! Not many OAP's can afford that. Not many working people can afford that!!!!!

My family and myself travel a long way way to dine at Crispins . In our opinion it is has the best fish and chips in Kent. Will be back again next month for lunch.
