The best restaurants in Grove Swale South East

Ordered pizza tonight, and was wondering where my pizza was after 40minutes. I thought they must be busy. They called to ask me where I was! I’d ordered collection rather than delivery, my mistake completely. The kind gentleman on the phone confirmed my address and delivered my pizza. Top pizza, top service. Thank you so much.

Cod was delicious fresh and very white. A delicious meal. Has always been lovely when I have eaten here

Excellent tasty food cannot fault the standard, with the exception that I did not get the Satay chicken I ordered but got what seemed to be chicken with mushrooms, which was disappointing, wouldn’t stop me from ordering from here again, just hope to gather the satay next to me….thank you for a delicious meal delivered bang on time

Good atmosphere and helpful staff. One of the staff moved us to a better table for seeing the football once one had become free.

Absolutely awful! Ordered by delivery. Over priced, overcooked fish in batter, cant say it was cod, so dry, swimming in oil, and soggy chips. Went in the bin.

It was stone cold when it arrived

Just popped into the Jenny Wren to use the 30% off, offer. Have to say it’s amazing value for money. Our waitress Hannah couldn’t have been more helpful or attentive. Really helpful and brought out good and drinks over really quickly. She couldn’t have done more to help us. The food we had was top notch too. Cracking burger and cauliflower kebab. Couldn’t fault it. Overall a brilliant experience and if all staff are as good as Hannah then all customers should be well happy

Really nice staff! Alison is definitely the best though. Bed is comfortable, heating works, it's not that noisy as an area. Cooked breakfast is good. Not a big fan of the food options but that's not completely relevant to the hotel. No complaints really.

I can honestly say this was the worst experience I have ever had in terms of food and customer service. I attended on a Thursday evening in December with work colleagues for our Christmas party. We paid £40 a head so although I recognise the food limitations of large parties, I expected a certain standard for this price. Firstly the food. Starters were luke warm. You could stand a spoon up in my oily soup. Turkey was full of gristle. Cheesecake was a strange texture and inedible. Worse than that though, a vegetarian in our group was told then had run out of her pre ordered option. As an alternative she was given a plate of potatoes and carrots. They had no vegetarian gravy. Someone else in the group was a vegan and despite asking for options in advance, was not given a reply. What she was given on the night was really poor. We faked to speak to the manager. He declined initially. Eventually he agreed to talk to us but wouldn’t come to the table to see the problem. He names his event manager and blamed it on her. She wasn’t there to defend herself. He then blamed an agency chef. When my colleague said the experience did not make us want to stay and spend even more money to which he replied ‘bye then. You lot just want free drinks’. So rude. We stayed as there was nowhere else nearby to go. About 20 minutes from the end the waiting staff appeared with a few bottles of cheap wine. The waiting staff I have to say were polite and apologetic. I felt really sorry for them as their manager did nothing to support them. I will never set foot in that place again. It was so poor I was almost speechless. Worst food and customer service I have e we had. It was like fawlty towers.

Visited today for breakfast. Hot buffet was very good. Very professional service from sam the manager who was courteous and very friendly can't recommend enough
