Went in to check it out after management changed. Cod was soaked throughout with oil, skin soft and oily terrible taste. Chips very dark and unpleasant. 2 stars instead of 1 only because it is a clean place. Far away from good Fish and Chips shop.

A nice Fish and Chip shop and very local to me. Prices are quite reasonable and I have very rarely had an issue with the food served. The fish is always well cooked. Nice crispy batter and we'll cooked but still slightly moist fish. The chips are usually spot on but there are some days where they just don't seem right. However these are few and far between. Portions are usually perfect.

Really nice staff! Alison is definitely the best though. Bed is comfortable, heating works, it's not that noisy as an area. Cooked breakfast is good. Not a big fan of the food options but that's not completely relevant to the hotel. No complaints really.

London RoadHave eaten here several times as it's an ideal meeting location for a gathering of three of us. There are frequently unavailable items on the menu and the service is hit or miss. A shame but next time we meet, we're looking elsewhere.

52 Abbey StreetLovely pub for a drink, warm atmosphere and lovely homely vibe but the food was horrible. Chewy squid, over seasoned and drowning in a slick of ink. Steak sandwich soggy, cold and the meat wasn’t rare, just cooked in some places and uncooked in others.
