The food quality is always excellent here! My favorite is Ox cheek with filet steak! Good portion, rich flavor and super tender. Attentive service. I’d been here twice, it never disappoint me. I recommend to visit here during lunch time, as they have very good value lunch set.

Sunday lunch with friends. Splendid menu, superbly cooked and presented dishes. Tasted even better. Good selection of wines to complement . Staff and service couldn’t be faulted. Excellent meal and excellent value. We shall definitely revisit soon.

Claverton Hotel, Kent Street. Lovely setting,room, breakfast and staff. Signposted well and suitable for access to amenities in the area. Will return again.

We had dinner here. The menu is a bit unusual, with not too many homely choices, but we both had shoulder of lamb, which turned out to be a stew. Very pleasant and nicely presented it was too. Staff were (I think) somewhat inexperienced but very keen to do the right thing and there were no mistakes. It must be said that the dining room is rather cramped and the walls are painted dark red, which makes the whole room rather claustrophobic. We took coffee after the meal in the sitting room adjacent. A little biscotti or even a petit four with the coffee would have been a nice touch but was not offered. We enjoyed the visit. £100 two courses for two people, plus bottle of wine and two coffees. That includes a 10% service charge added to the bill. Don'tthey know it's 2023? Just increase the prices by 10% and omit the service charge -- it just rubs people up the wrong way. (Some people will then add their voluntary tip on top anyway.)

We just discovered this restaurant in the grounds of the golf course .We went there for dinner ,although it was very quiet , we enjoyed the food and the staff were friendly . We plan to come back for lunch and see what the view is like .

The Kings Head in Udimore is a true gem of a pub! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with a warm, homely atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Stayed for the golf school and the food is to a very high level, super tasty, lots of vegetarian options and super friendly staff.

The staff are lovely in here, it was a pleasure going in for my tea and a drink. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Greeted when we arrived, shown to our table straight away , took our drinks order followed by our food order. Drinks arrived promptly, food was served piping hot and freshly cooked , very tasty.

Really lovely pub, relaxed atmosphere, very exciting menu filled with interesting dishes and very well priced. Our children were welcomed and also loved their lunch. Lovely staff all doing great work. Thank you and I apologise we didn’t realise the tip wasn’t included, we will come back!

Nice place but very disappointed with the chefs attitude to serve food. Its multiple times i have come in now and every time the chef mutters “Ugh food” or “ugh not more food”. I dread to think of the attitude whilst tjey make it…
