Had yet again the Best fillet steak ever. I thought one of the Steak Houses in Bexhill was good. BUT my Fillet at the New Inn was just another level. I highly recommend The New Inn Westfield. The service was brilliant , very efficient and professional. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. We will definitely be back.

I have been eating at this inn for a long time, the food is always excellent, there was four of us today we all had different dishes and we all rated it five stars, in fact the waffles afterwards my friend’s rated more than five stars. The owner and staff are also excellent

We recently had a small birthday celebration here. The atmosphere, service and food was excellent and when we had a small issue with one meal it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Thank you to the landlord and staff

I went for food at the new inn and I have to say, I was blown away with the food and the friendliness of the staff I felt very welcomed as soon as I walk in the door I had the beef medallions. The beef was so tender and soft. I’m not really a person for sauces but I was told to try the peppered sauce, again it blew me away it was so tasty.

4 of us enjoyed the most wonderful evening meal last night with 3 courses each ..every one was beautifully cooked and presented and was probably the best pub we've had for ages . . The mullets special was so tasty and reosably priced for a fish dish . All the meals were spot on and the service and ambulance exceptional .we've always had great food in here and didn't think it could improve even more . but it has in our opinion

We had dinner here and took my father and treated him. Service was excellent, friendly and attentive. We each had a different meal and all were delicious. Lamb, chicken and suet pudding. Veg perfect and not over cooked, flavoursome and right consistency gravy, meat tender. Good size potions and the interior decor a nice place to be. Recommend

We had had not been here for some years as the last time they managed to lose my credit card when it came to paying. They then gave me some else’s card! However, much improved and very nice curry evening with good food and very pleasant staff. All was fine until leaving when as we left we noticed a dog sitting on a chair at the table next to a couple sitting eating by the door. We have no problem with dogs in pubs but not sitting on a chair. We then noticed as we left that the dog was actually eating from one of the plates! We were going to give 5* but not for this!

Celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at this venue, the conservatory was laid out beautifully for us and our family and friends. Patrick and his team made the day really special for us all with fantastic food and attentive service. The New Inn is always clean and tidy with polite and caring staff. Thank you

Super lunch at this very nice pub restaurant. Extensive menu, including also daily specials. Pleasant, friendly staff and quick service. Big car park. Very low steps to front entrance, don’t know if there is another entrance with disabled access. No steps to toilets (important when you’re on crutches!)

Staying locally we walked to the pub via carr and Taylor vinyard ( very good ) . Restaurant was fully booked we were originally told they were full . Waitress came and found us and said if we could order straightaway they could fit us in . Had a lovely lamb madras with all the trimmings it was spot on . Great food nice beer fantastic customer service .

On holiday and my husband found this place, nice and close to our accommodation so great we could walk. The reviews were good and our kebab starter and my goats cheese salad were very tasty, as was the garlic bread. The staff were very attentive, my only disappointment was the homemade cheesecake. I checked it had a biscuit base, and then ordered. The base was a bit soft and the cheesecake was soft and sloppy like a mousse. I fed this back, and left feeling quite disappointed that they'd serve something which really didn't resemble a cheesecake. I wouldn't waste your money with the desert but the main meal was good

Absolutely superb food and service. Me and my partner eat here at least twice a week the food and service is always amazing. I have been lucky enough to eat in top restaurants all over the world I know good food when I get it. The food is always first class and in my opinion under priced. The staff and the service is second to none. Seriously if you eat here and feel disappointed then message me and I'll give you the refund for your meal as I have that much faith in this place!

Having just moved to the Area from London we tried the New Inn .... firstly the owner, Patrick, told my wife and I all about the pub/restaurant and took time to tell us all about what goes on, not just at the pub but the local area. As a Member of the village and our only pub. We've had some lovely meals in the past but recently it's not good value for money. My potatoes were warm, my colleagues homemade pie was over cooked ....obviously left and just warmed up. Sad but there we go ....

Can I just say despite needing to organise a funeral tea while the proprietors were on their days off over New Year I was able to do this and was reassured that every thing would be perfect, I have to say it really, really was we were all welcomed by a well heated and friendly reception a venue that allowed wheelchair users and our prams easy access and facilities to hand as well. The food that was provided was really perfect the variety was really welcomed it was clearly made fresh on our arrival there was more than enough for the numbers we were quoted for and the cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this pub and we will certainly visit for a nice sit down meal next time.

Very surprised on how good the experience was in this pub. Staff were super and very attentive. Excellent food my belly pork best I’ve eaten in a long time. The three other diners all had lip smackingly good food. We sat in the extension which was quiet enough to hear the conversation at the table but bright and lively. No trouble with gluten free options as they said they could adapt almost all of the options on the menu. We were lucky enough to get a table and I’m not surprised you have to book.

The New Inn is on our way home from shopping and we have called in for a lunch several times.Each visit never lets us down.The food is always good and a good price.The salad of prawns,cray fish ,salmon and avocado is Fab,and my boyfriend had the Gammon egg and chips is a good plateful.This time we were served by Amanda who was very attentive, well done to all including the Chef .Many thanks.

I ate there today with a friend of mine and thoroughly enjoyed my fixed price 3 course lunch. The homemade cheesy mash cottage pie was delicious if a little small, and the lemon and lime cheesecake very nice indeed. I was again impressed with their real ale which was first class. The cost was reasonable and the service cordial.

Have eaten in this lovely pub several times in the last few months and every time the food ,service and general atmosphere has been tpo notch.
