Conquerors March in Rother

Check your bank accounts after your meal ,paid by debit card ,server returned to say payment declined as Internet was down ,no decline receipt given .asked for payment again and told 1st payment was rejected. Couple of days later 2x amts out of bank account ,duty managers both failed to ring back after my complaint, told may be another 5 days before I get my money back so 12 days in total . Be very careful if this sceniro happens to you make sure you get a declined receipt and don't believe what the server tells you that payment won't go through.

Once again we had a lot of the family descend on us from London for a weekend stay, we have taken them to the conquerors before and they insisted that we book a table in advance so as to avoid disappointment as they enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and good cuisine. Our server for the night was Isaac (apologies if I have misspelled his name). He is a young man who has great potential and who will go far in life. The restaurant was as usual incredibly busy and as is the way he was serving many tables, but everyone's drinks and food arrived in a timely manor and Isaac never seemed in the least bit fazed about his heavy work load that night. Well done mate you looked after my family very well and we thank you very much for that

Had a lovely lunch with good friends here yesterday. Our server Issac, whom I found out is also the manager was very attentive, polite and nothing was too much trouble . Would highly recommend. Looking forward to visiting again in 6 weeks. Well done Issac, you are truly an asset to the company. 👌👏👏👏

Went on Easter Sunday at 6.30. It was the only time we could get and by this time the menu had reduced ( as expected). Had to wait for food but when it arrived it was worth it. Great food, fresh and flavoursome. Well worth a visit.

Greeted when we arrived, shown to our table straight away , took our drinks order followed by our food order. Drinks arrived promptly, food was served piping hot and freshly cooked , very tasty.

Very good food especially when so busy. The best part of our lunch was the lovely waitress Maddison ! Rushed off her feet but never made us feel rushed at all. Lovely smile and really couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be back. Please thank Maddison 🙏 The perfect waitress

Conquers March always comes to our aid when we find ourselves short on meal prep and they always welcome us and fund us a seat. We are last Friday and we're served by Madison who we were told was knew but we couldn't tell because she was brilliant. Kind, checked in with us and attentive. Wanted to make sure she got the recognition she deserved. Great place to eat and have great beers and wines! Would recommend for all.

Absolutely stunning food. Our server Kian was incredibly helpful and kind, really recommend the steak and ale pie, me and my family also tried the burnt basque cheesecake and that was honestly unbelievable.

We took our friends visiting from Australia out for dinner and enjoyed an excellent evening. The food was superb and the service from our waitress Ruby outstanding. She was extremely friendly, good humoured and showed great patience when my friend Dennis was dithering and asking her inane questions.
