What a wonderful visit to this lovely tradition country pub, there were 7 of us for Sunday lunch. Superb food! Lots of lovely veg, meat and gravy, delicious meal, and the service was perfect, so friendly and efficient. Excellent pub, thoroughly recommend. We will be returning very soon too. Thank you. Chilled out pub with a great beer garden, dates back to the 17th Century. We visited on a Sunday evening so there was only one cask ales on (they shut Monday - Weds), but there is a good choice of other drinks. Dog friendly.

Nice unpretentious boozer. For some reason the TV is in at full blast (including commercials!). Who goes to the pub to watch daytime TV?
