The best restaurants in Ringwood South New Forest South East

Had a great evening last night at the cellar. My son held his 50th birthday celebrations here. Staff were fantastic, food was excellent couldn't fault anything. Thank you all for making it a memorable for him, bless you all

The BEST fish and chip shop! We visit friends in the area and ALWAYS ensure we visit Price's at least once! My daughters absolutely love the jumbo and battered sausages, and the Cod is always beautifully cooked. I have visited a lot of chip shops in my time, and the chips have always been hit or miss. Price's chips are beautiful every time. They really have got the perfect recipe. A must try is the curry sauce. This is delicious and a perfect portion size. If you are in the area, make sure you visit, you will not be disappointed.

We had Afternoon Tea, we were super impressed with both the food and service. The guys who run The Pantry were super nice, friendly and very attentive. The sandwiches were filling and tasty. The cakes, absolutely amazing and delicious, so much choice. Very impressed and would highly recommend. Thank you for the takeaway box, couldn’t eat all the goodies. Can’t wait to visit again. 😊

Having reserved a table, was very disappointed, on arrival, to be offered a table right in front of the outside door, then moved to an upstairs area, which totally lacked atmosphere. Service by young staff was pleasant and willing. Food was very average and rather expensive. Would not revisit.

Had a fantastic evening here on Tuesday with a group of us celebrating 2 birthdays - couldn’t fault a single thing if I tried. Definitely the best restaurant locally. The food, atmosphere (even on a week night) and friendly attentive service are second to none. If you haven’t tried it yet then you’re missing out!

a few in our party had visited before and were really impressed, however sadly this trip really didn’t live up to our expectations. food is priced high, but the service we received certainly didn’t match - very inattentive, lots of missed opportunities (missing cutlery, unclean glasses). the food had lots of issues also sadly - cold pancakes with the duck, mains came out before duck and then had to be reheated leaving the rice clumpy, only one portion of noodles left on a Tuesday night, and very salty beef with mushrooms. overall was a really disappointing meal, and sadly unlike those local in our party will return.
