Luna Coffee in New Forest

On this occasion, I give Luna Coffee 5 stars. My timing was perfect, quick with usual friendly service. If you choose to go out between 10.30 & 11.30 anywhere in town, you are likely to find most coffee shops are busy & you can expect to wait. I arrived their in the early afternoon & happy to see only two portions of my favourite, seasonal lightly spiced pumpkin cake were left. All scones had been sold out. Mocha cake seems to be popular & also almost finished. There is a special place for carrot cake everywhere in the world but while Autumn is down to end & Christmas flavours are soon to appear, I'll be tempted to enjoy the Pumpkin treat with my medium flat white coffee. Sameer & Sarah work hard with their friendly team to provide great coffee, home baked cakes & freshly produced pastries & savouries.

Sandwich and drink ok but service is TERRIBLE! Five people serving and no one seemed to know what they were doing. No one clearing tables so no where to sit. Slow to take the order, then they brought my sandwich... I waited about 5 mins then asked when they would bring my husband's sausage roll and the two drinks? The manager (?) was quite short with me and told me that they were busy. (Only three other couples in 2 of which already had their order). After a further 5 mins they brought drinks, then a few minutes later brought the sausage roll. (I started eating my sandwich as it was getting cold. I had almost finished it by the time the sausage roll arrived).

We aren’t locals and we stopped by at Luna Coffee for a bite to eat and a drink and we were pleasantly impressed at how lovely the food and drink were along with the cake. Would highly recommend! We will definitely be back if we are ever next in the area!

Luna Coffee is popular due to its central location, friendly service, a good choice of cold & hot drinks & quality home-baked cakes & other sweet & savoury pastry treats. If you prefer less noise, try sitting closer to the window overlooking the high street. In warmer weather, especially if you are in a group, the popular patio garden is at its best during Summer months. Carrot or Coffee & Walnut Cake, Lemon Drizzle & Banana Loaf are popular. A toasted panini or warmed Cheese & Chive Scone are still my favourite savoury treats

Pleasent enough. Its a shame its very reminiscent of a Costa. Could of had some originality... but the coffee is is good and allow dogs which is a plus. Would revisit

A beautiful café with good coffee and cakes, and a colourful back garden. There is also a part with a roof, where it is possible to sit if it rains.

Im a local builder to Ringwood, and opening early is a blessing. However, super friendly ownership, "the best" carrot cake and coffee in town and dog friendly... Prove me wrong?

Luna is probably the best coffee outlet on the High Street. It's success is based on the excellent coffee, range of home baked sweet treats & a selection of sandwiches, paninis & sandwiches & friendly service. On days that many businesses are closed, (Sundays & Mondays) Luna is usually open. Recent favourites apart from their Carrot Cake, Coffee & Walnut, Dorset apple Cake & Lemon Drizzle, are their delicious home-baked scones. The Cheese & Chive scones are If you spot Pistachio, Courgette & Lime Cake, it's worth trying! A medium Flat white coffee is amazing. With thanks to Sameer, Henry & team!

Favourite coffee spot! As a regular I find the staff all very friendly and welcoming, nothing bad to say about Luna coffee. I recommend going there it’s beyond amazing and their cakes are delicious :)

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! I ordered a mozzarella and tomato panini and an iced latte. I received a panini and until biting into the panini I realised it had ham inside and not what I ordered. I cannot eat pork! Staff were not apologetic and they did not care, the man there was rude and his customer service was atrocious. He did not give me a refund for anything. Even the iced coffee did not have any ice in. Had to go up to the tills and ask for my money back and they would not give me refund. The man would not give my money back unless I gave the correct panini back, which is RIDICULOUS. Only gave me refund for the panini and not the coffee. What type of service is this!!! Never coming back here again, absolutely awful place.

We visited three times for breakfast during our stay in Ringwood. Lovely atmosphere with a garden available in the summer. Dog friendly. Great independent coffee stop, we enjoyed their breakfast pastries and my chai latte was very good.

Been here many times and always very good - the coffee is served hot as we like. Staff are friendly and welcoming - every where is very clean- and they serve a range of tasty cakes etc. All in all a top class cafe.

My daughter's favourite hot chocolate is served there. Decaf cappuccino and brownies are not bad either.

i must say the coffee here is so nice and i was greeted by friendly staff certainly made my day i popped in for a bite to eat the sandwiches were delicious and coffee to match i loved all their interesting wall art and they even had a lovely garden out the rear the washrooms were spotless and the whole experience was great im certainly going back here ...10 out of 10

Best coffee shop in town, by a mile

Only had a large coffee, but the 2 Barista's were lovely and friendly, I told them they had the highest rating for quality coffee in Ringwood and they were pleased to hear it. Was a beautiful day and sat in the garden outside, just from the excellent coffee I'd be happy to eat in aswell, they had a great selection of cakes. 10/10

Excellent coffee, my favourite being a Medium Flat White - a generous cup & delicious flavour. Trays of freshly baked cakes, scones & savoury treats on display. People around me were enjoying toasted teacakes. Needing to reward myself today so indulged by sampling a freshly baked, toasted fruit scone. Delicious with whipped cream (or clotted cream) & strawberry jam! It really was a special treat!

Very welcoming and friendly staff and great selection of cakes! Once you have ordered, they bring your drinks and food to your table, to save you hanging around at the counter. Lovely visit!

Ringwood is not short of good coffee shops. We always choose independent shops when we can. Luna has become our favourite. It is a very comfortable place with excellent coffee and friendly, efficient staff. Always busy.

Go here quite a lot and the best coffee around-always served hot as we like it. Nice comfy chairs to lounge in-helpful polite staff and a range of sandwiches and other snacks-top class all around. They also have a garden with chairs when the sun shines.

Luna coffee shop in Ringwood is currently offering a variety of delicious cold & hot drinks including some interesting festive eats & drinks. Luna's delicious toasted Panetonne served with butter has definitely become one of my favourite sweet treats, especially at this time of the year. Bakewell tarts & mince pies are also good. its a good time to try a toasted Panini. The friendly team go out of their way to maintain a high standard. To avoid a queue, its best to go during quiet times. I am glad to find them one of the few coffee shops open after 5pm &kj before 9am.

Myself and my brother in law went into Luna Coffee to kill some time at 15.47 on the 18/11/22 to have a cup of coffee, we approached the counter and waited 11 min and 27 sec to be served, on being served I thought I would have a sausage roll, but at £3.85 I had to check with the girl that this is the right price, she said yes, so I decided to not have on at that price, After ordering our coffee we was told that it will be brought over to us, so we sat down , it was another 12mins 15sec and I had to reapproach the counter to make sure that we haven't been forgotten, and the attitude was, No We Haven't Forgotten, so I sat down and a guy at the counter on the customer side who worked there kept staring at me as if he had a problem with me asking where's my coffee which I had paid for, All in All no a great experience, you charge to much for your products and your service needs looking into, needless to say I certainly won't be returning back to Luna Coffee,

Good service, good coffee. Not a huge selection of snacks but what they have they do well. The patio garden area is lovely in the good weather.

Fabulous coffee shop serving delicious coffee and top quality food in great surroundings. The New York panini was delicious. Very clean too (for example high chair and toilets) which is always a bonus. Definitely recommend and we will be back!

Always excellent coffee here-perfectly hot latte-nice background music and ambience. Table service-a courtyard which is is sun trap and snacks served.

I tried this place after being frozen out of an over-air conditioned chain coffee house nearby and thank goodness for that! A lovely comfortable coffee shop with friendly efficient staff, excellent coffee, terrific cannoli, and delicious Movenpick Swiss ice cream which is just amazing. We’ll be back to try the rest of the menu every time we’re in Ringwood.

Veey disappointed to be charged an extra 50p for soya milk in my coffee making it £3.40 for a small cappucino! Also it was freezing in there!

Perfect tea in a part-sheltered courtyard with table service. Chocolate twist was very nice. Also had a unique item called a Tiramisu Slice, like millionaire’s shortbread plus plus!

I go there with my friends often and love it. The decorations are beautiful and the staff are really nice. The drinks are brilliant and the food is just as good so I would definitely recommend going!

Had the loveliest experience here. The staff are so nice and offer such a lovely range of tasty drinks which really sets it apart from places like Costa. The outside seating area is so calming and is an enjoyable place to be with friends.

If you have had enough of costa then this could be the antidote. Great coffee. Great service and a gorgeous venue. I am not a fan of pre packed food but they work it into something good and the quality of it shows. Fantastic place with lots of hideaway spots for a quiet meeting or a good catch up with friends. Highly recommended by locals as well. Enjoy folks. Clearly the level of competition on the Ringwood High Street is driving standards of venue and service right up there. Wonderful place. Happy friendly staff who are always happy to help and go the extra mile. Fantastic unique decor and good amount of different seating inside. Outside is stunning, wonderful floral displays throughout the summer. Lovely large outside covered area to shelter from the sun or rain. Best of all, The coffee is spot on!

Popped into Luna for a quick coffee and panini ... first time we've been here ... suprised to see they have a lovely little courtyard in the back, so we sat out in the sunshine. Coffee was fresh and our panini cooked to order. Much prefer eating at these little gems rather than the big brands, plus the coffee and freshness of the food was better too! Inside had a cosy friendly vibe too. Definitely recommend.

Have been to Luna on a number of occasions and have been impressed with the service and cleanliness, toilets are very clean and the staff are very friendly, it's worth noting they have seating in a back yard this is also very nice as well.
