Really lovely little cafe on the stretch to the red Jet terminal. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect way to start the day with their Haven Breakfast, a full English with good portions and will keep you going for the day. A great little find and take away options available too. Will be back.

We came across Manny's by chance during a trip from the mainland - and we're very glad we did. We stopped for coffee and also had one of the amazing Portuguese Custard Tarts - absolutely delicious and so moreish. We returned for lunch and the baguettes we had were perfect - so tasty and full of flavour. Manny and the young boy he had helping him on the day were both so friendly and polite. We will definitely be returning next time we're in Cowes.

As I was wandering along one of the main streets in Cowes, I happened to notice the blackboard outside declaring that they had crab sandwiches on their menu. This prompted me to go inside and find a table. The staff member could not have been any friendlier. Not only to me, but she treated everyone the same. I ordered a coffee and a crab sandwich. The coffee arrived quicker than the food, but as soon as I took my first mouthful of this heavenly sandwich I was hooked. The bread was so soft and fresh it was as if they had baked it just a few moments beforehand. I have no idea who their bread suppliers are, but I wish I could find bread like that in other areas of my travels. The cost of the meal was not cheap, but the service and quality of the meal more than made up for it.

I have just this second put the phone down to Mark the proprietor of CIWYW. He handed back the keys to the temporary old shoe shop they had been usingsince last august in January. There are further plans both In Cowes and also on mainland going forward but there will be a Very comprehensive pop up restaurant taking place for 10 days over COWES week. If you have never eaten at CIWYW The food is amazing, no menu as such, but in my mind possibly the best food youll get in Cowes. I wish them great sucess and look forward to seeing them all in august

Excellent food prepared in full view of the restaurant backed up with first class service. Five of us visited. We ordered 8 dishes varying from vegetarian to meat and fish. All were beautifully presented and delicious. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Even commenting on the good food the following day. Good value and highly recommended.

We had three different things from the menu for lunch and all felt insubstantial for lunch and more like a light snack. Nice people and what we had was nice but personally I would not return for lunch. For example £12 for a salad which had a spoon of hummus, half a small avocado and some leafs and a few cherry tomatoes and croutons feels too insubstantial for the price and as lunch.

"Not been there since it changed hands" "It was really good but haven't been there since the old people left" was what we were told. Well, as a real fussy bugger about my food, let me tell you we're very pleased that we went to Mojacs tonight as it was fab! We had the scallops and the king prawns as starters, both were cooked to perfection. I was hesitate about the apple and parsnip puree that came with the scallops as thought it would be too sweet but not at all. We had the lamb chops and the pork belly (from the specials board) and again, they were both delicious and cooked fantastically well. Don't take my word for it, try it yourself as you will not be disappointed

Here we are again at our very favourite IOW hotel, once again celebrating a special occasion,as we always do. I found this hotel when I sang here at a friend's wedding and knew it was special. We had our wedding night here in 2020 which, being at the tail end of Covid, the staff (David and Cathy at the time, now retired), and everyone made it as good as it could be, we had our wedding blessing and reception the year after, which was phenomenal. All the staff gave us a wonderful magical day with food to die for and a wonderful memory forever. We've been here since but today's my birthday so another stay at this lovely place, James, the Restaurant Manager, couldn't do enough for us at our lovely "home from home". Beautiful dinner, lovely ambience, and extensive sea view, always meted out with flawless customer service. What more could we ask? David and Cathy have left the hotel in the capable hands of Julian and James so I know it will continue to flourish. Some not so good reviews on here, I honestly don't recognise the hotel they are reviewing, NH is, and always will be, our favourite place to stay (and we only live 10 minutes away). Thank you guys and see you at our next celebration.

Looking for somewhere different to go for lunch, we decided to channel our inner sailors and popped on the ferry to Cowes. Our mission? To discover a gem we’d found in the Michelin Guide, nestled midway up a hill so steep it could double as a ski slope. We arrived early and, naturally, indulged in a pre-lunch cocktail. I savoured an excellent dry Martini while my wife enjoyed their Signature Cocktail. Both were top-notch, though the chairs were so low I felt like I was sitting on the floor at a toddler’s tea party. Seriously, they were lower than a limbo-ing rattlesnake. We made it to the restaurant and embarked on a three-course Sunday Lunch adventure. For starters, we had Beef Carpaccio and Trout, which were delightful. For the mains, we chose Roast Beef and Guinea Fowl (delicious but portioned like I was on a diet). We finished with treacle tart and Mille Fois, all accompanied by a delicious Rosé that danced on our taste buds. A delightful surprise was seeing the owners dining in the room, tucking into the same Sunday Lunch. It’s always reassuring when the owners eat their own cooking – it’s a sign they believe in their food as much as we did. My only beef (pun intended) with the place was the table and chairs. I get that it’s a 'Bistro,' but white tablecloths would elevate the New England-style decor from charming to downright chic. In summary, a fantastic dining experience with cocktails to die for and food worth the ferry ride. Just remember to bring a cushion if you don't want to feel like you're dining in the Shire.

Having arrived in Cowes for the first time in many years, we walked onto the high street and studied the menus on display at the many eateries. Coast's menu looked interesting and varied, so in we went. Service from the start was friendly, informal but perfectly attentive. Four of us occupied a round table near the pizza oven and made our choices as we enjoyed drinks, a couple of Amstel beers, wine and a seriously lovely Jasmine and white peach Bellini cocktail. Starters of Boquerones (surprising good), Scallops and Somerset Brie were all excellent, and set us up nicely for the mains. Another couple of drinks were ordered from the attentive team as the main dishes arrived. A beef Sunday roast, which is one of the best Sunday roasts I've eaten in a restaurant / pub. Sea bass, beautifully cooked and chicken supreme with a rich flavour. All meals were eaten in near silence - always a good sign, and were satisfyingly filling. Keen to carry on the culinary experience we also enjoyed cheese boards before settling the reasonable bill. We will have to return to Coast as there were so many other wonderful options on the menu, we don't want to risk FOMO. A great experience.

This was our first visit and it will not be our last. A lovely experience. We booked for dinner in the ‘bar’ with our dog. On arrival we were warmly greeted by a very professional and attentive young lady and the manager who showed us to a table next to the fire (perfect for the dog to stretch out) The bar area is extremely comfortable and roomy which meant we didn’t have to worry about our dog encroaching on other diners. The menu has a good choice of three courses and the food was beautifully presented and of excellent quality with plentiful vegetables and all piping hot. The wine list has reasonably priced options and the bar is well stocked with gins and whisky’s. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening an unhurried and very relaxed meal with our dog also being treated by staff, I wasn’t going to give much of my delicious steak away!!

Average at best. £12.50 for 4 prawns on skewers as a sharing plate. The Moroccan chicken skewers with Cous Cous was below par and although presented relatively well it did not lend itself to the so called exciting dishes as advertised! The menu choices are not good and quite frankly sparse. The choice of desserts was disheartening, although reasonably priced. The drinks are expensive £3.50 for a half of Coke and £10 for a glass of wine is quite honestly too much. The Good friendly service from the front of house staff can’t be faulted. Average food at an above average price. Will definitely NOT be going back.
