6 of us enjoyed fabulous toasties, Sausage rolls and baguettes in the sun, outside this fantastic little street cafe. The coffee was top notch and my daughter loved her Ice tea. The team were very helpful which led to my Mum purchasing some of their local IOW goods from selection of jams, biscuits, alcohol and cheeses. Great value, nice people and perfect location.

One of the finest flat whites I have had in years! Coffee is roasted locally and is full of flavour. Expertly made by staff, who are super friendly and exude rays of happiness and positivity! I was tempted by a sausage roll whilst there, which was every bit as good as it looked. A number of regulars came in who were greeted warmly and if I lived in Cowes, it would be a regular haunt of mine as well. Definately worth a visit- the selection of crab dishes may tempt me back later today!

What an absolute gem.. the bacon bagels, pork pies and scotch eggs are to die for.. Daisy was so passionate and knowledgeable about the ingredients and produce. It’s great to see a shop stocking such a vast array of local produce. The island has an abundance of awesome produce and this little gem showcase the lot.. Massive well done to all at The Food Hamper.. we will be back.. 11/10 review

The owner/manager who served me today was lovely. Very friendly, cheerful and totally welcoming. I only bought a bag of Island Roasted Coffee - something I had been trying to track down for a few days - at just over £6 for a 250g bag... but could have easily purchased a lot more from the deli/shop. Lots of local produce on display - biscuits, pickles and honey to name just a few. (I already have some of these from the local section in my Co-Op, otherwise I would have got them here.) The coffee was given to me in a stamped paper bag with a friendly word and a happy smile. I would recommend the shop for foodies and people who like to enjoy local produce. I could easily return and spend pounds indulging myself! A smashing shop. Worth a look. P.S. The coffee is amazing!

If anyone asked me to describe the ideal little Deli this would be it. Stocked to the gills with every item you could want for the perfect picnic. The owner was lifting freshly cooked, fragrant little Savoury Tarts onto the counter as we arrived. An array of delicious looking salads were on display including a wonderful looking Red Pepper & Spelt one. We chose Scotch Eggs, Pork Pies & freshly made Crab Sandwiches as we were eating on the hoof. Beautiful Marzipan treats for gifts. Fantastic. The perfect alternative to bland M&S tasteless packet sandwiches. Don't miss it !!

You can’t miss The Food Hamper as its sits right smack in the center of the High Street in Cowes! You actually can smell it before you see it. You stand there and literally drool! This place is a foodie’s heaven!! From decadent homemade goodies like quiche, pâtés, cake, pizza to locally sourced cheeses and pork pies! They also cater. Surely anything done in pastry can be done by them! Honestly, we had the absolute best fresh crab sandwiches ever from here!! The crab so fresh as though it was prepared only 10 minute prior! We also bought pork pies and they were truly excellent! If we lived here, we’d be in The Food Hamper every single day! You wouldn’t be able to keep me away!

We popped in for a quick coffee and the service was excellent. We saw lots of orders come out of the kitchen and they looked very good value for money. Covid restrictions and hygiene being carefully followed

Simply the best on the island. The Cream Teas are perfect. Choice of scone plus a choice of jam. Scone warmed up to the right temperature accompanied by a lovely pot of tea or a coffee. Staff very very accommodating and friendly. Dogs welcome too. What a great place

My brother and I stopped here for lunch . We both ordered the omelette and fries . We were very impressed. The staff were nice and yes there is a friendly dog who follows everyone around. It is quite family orientated and it appears by the photos around they have sadly lost someone close. We ate in the garden as it was a nice day. B Overall , yes a bit hickledepicklede. But we loved it. Probably not for you if you don’t like dogs .

A wonderful place to eat; such a pleasure to visit and find a place that was so welcoming and being able such enjoy top quality food. Nothing was too much trouble; we had delicious sandwiches freshly prepared from local ingredients. Coffee that was fully flavoured, but refreshingly not bitter. All the cakes were definitely home made; tasting well and looking gorgeous. The cafe was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our first visit, but definitely not the last.

Just a 5 minute drive from the ferry. Very nice food and good service. Would recommend Bettys Brekkie. Fairly reasonably priced.
