The best restaurants in Carisbrooke Isle of Wight South East

Lovely views, great cream tea and ploughman’s lunch! Staff and owner were lovely. Begrudge writing this review because I’d love to keep it secret!

I haven't been to the.Blacksmiths arms for a little while, I went yesterday for.lunch, (amazing) have just booked a return Christmas eve ,need I say more

Went there for anniversary celebration as really fancied an Italian pizza. Unfortunately it was not a handmade dough and it wasn’t cooked when it arrived. Dough was too thick and certainly wasn’t crispy. Dough was uneditable on mine . It certainly was disappointing so unfortunately I’ll not be returning or recommending it to anyone else who wants an Italian pizza.

Great food we had our 14 year old sons birthday meal there with 2 of his best friends, Great night thanks will go back again soon.

Lovely evening meal and great service. Fish pie, burger and everything we had was excellent and enjoyed by all of us. Would recommend.

This was the best value hotel we stayed at in a recent walking holiday on the Isle of Wight. The room was obviously newly decorated with a large ensuite. Both food and ales were excellent and the reception was friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Popped in for another breakfast and I wasn't disappointed at all. This is my second visit before writing this review. my friend and i were very happy with the service and the breakfast was lovely. Definitely going back.

Not much for a dairy or glutten free person to eat from menu but love the fast an quick service we get everytime family come an we always enjoy our self.

Perfect location for a relaxing break. The surroundings are peaceful. Coastal walks right outside the hotel with beautiful views. Ten mins walk to Yarmouth where you can catch a "hop on hop off" bus or local buses to different places. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful especially our waitress Maryna. She was so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment was very good especially Badness who put on a great show. The chalet was clean and roomy. One thing I would say is that the island was plagued by Mosquitos which we were informed of when we arrived. It would have been good to send guests emails pre-warning of this so you could be prepared. I was bitten badly as was our neighbour! Overall though we had a lovely weekend

Very nice people, nice atmosphere, nice food. Never been to a Tapas Bar before and we were quite impressed with the standard of food!

They are seriously busy because the food, views and staff are amazing. Parking is limited so please car pool, if you can. Been twice and can honestly say that the staff are wonderful. The food is yum but you must save space for the dessert, you won't be disappointed 😋
