The best restaurants in Carisbrooke Isle of Wight South East

Lovely views, great cream tea and ploughman’s lunch! Staff and owner were lovely. Begrudge writing this review because I’d love to keep it secret!

Spent two days on the island and ate here both nights. The sea bass and pork belly were very good

My wife and I tried Angel B&G for the first time and didn't leave disappointed! The burgers there are probably the best I think I have had, home made with lovely meat and ingredients! Next time I'm there I will probably give the rack of ribs a go as saw them going out to other tables and they looked amazing too!!. Amazing friendly staff , family run restaurant. Martin and Desislava have a great team there. I definitely recommend this place for a burger, rib or steak!! You will definitely go back I'm sure!

Outstanding restaurant! The menu had a variety of delicious options, the presentation was elegant, and the flavors were just right. The staff was professional and kind.

Lovely evening meal and great service. Fish pie, burger and everything we had was excellent and enjoyed by all of us. Would recommend.

This was the best value hotel we stayed at in a recent walking holiday on the Isle of Wight. The room was obviously newly decorated with a large ensuite. Both food and ales were excellent and the reception was friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Popped in for another breakfast and I wasn't disappointed at all. This is my second visit before writing this review. my friend and i were very happy with the service and the breakfast was lovely. Definitely going back.

Family was down from mainland phoned on off chance after a nice family walk along tennyson downs and we had a roast well worth the money lovely food staff pleasant

Perfect location for a relaxing break. The surroundings are peaceful. Coastal walks right outside the hotel with beautiful views. Ten mins walk to Yarmouth where you can catch a "hop on hop off" bus or local buses to different places. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful especially our waitress Maryna. She was so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment was very good especially Badness who put on a great show. The chalet was clean and roomy. One thing I would say is that the island was plagued by Mosquitos which we were informed of when we arrived. It would have been good to send guests emails pre-warning of this so you could be prepared. I was bitten badly as was our neighbour! Overall though we had a lovely weekend

Very nice people, nice atmosphere, nice food. Never been to a Tapas Bar before and we were quite impressed with the standard of food!

Consistently excellent. Had the best Valentine's day lunch, scallops to start followed by monkfish in parma ham, everything I love...husband always has the pie which he loves. The dessert is my dream, never get anywhere as good anywhere else....White chocolate and raspberry creme brulee. Apart from the food, which is very important, good, friendly service and dog friendly! What more could you want?!
