Good value for money full English, they don't use the best quality ingredients, but they are cheap, it is filling and pretty tasty. I'd go back without hesitation.

Food is always really tasty with big portions for reasonable prices. We know the owners through football & use this place quite regularly due to the good service and to support a great local establishment. We've used this venue for parties in the past too, along with popping up there for a couple of games of snooker every so often aswell.

As an aside to the Snooker tables, the Ambassador also serve really good basic food. Breakfast in there is as good as anywhere else (noting we're talking catering quality) and it is tasty, and for what it is, it's excellent value. The surroundings are more 'adequate' than 'comfortable', but for a quick basic meal if you are working in the area it's good enough. However, with much more choice locally available, the Ambassador isn't really for me.

This Snooker Club Serves Up Freshly Cooked HOT Food Every Time We Visit, And We Have Not Had Bad Meal Here Ever. The Portion Sizes Are Great, And Are Definitely Value For Money. The Staff Are Very Nice, And Nothing Is Too Much Trouble.Aparantly The Sunday Roasts Are Fantastic, But I’ve Yet To Try That!I Can Honestly Say, You’ll Not Find Better Or Fresher Pub Food.

A very friendly family club, serving an excellent All Day Breakfast (in three different sizes) and plenty more on the menu, which is also excellent. All food is freshly cooked, and we have never had a poor meal.

Stopped for a cream tea which the wife enjoyed. Usual 2 scones provided with jam and clotted cream and a good pot of tea. They normally do Gluten Free cream tea but due to high demand had sold out of GF scones. They were however able to supply GF cheese scones so I had a savoury version of cream tea, 2 GF cheese scones, a tomato chutney and a cream cheese. Was very nice and would recommend.

Stopped here for tea and we're so glad we did. Loose leaf tea in a china tea pot (not one of those awful stainless steel ones that dribbles all over the table), a tea strainer, china cups and saucers and a china milk jug - this is how tea should be served. The Bakewell slice and chocolate cake were both delicious and the portions very generous. The friendly welcome and engaging staff added to the enjoyment. Looking forward to the next visit.
