My most favourite meal of the year!!! So great to be here for my birthday dinner (worth the 70 mile trip!) Beautiful setting, wonderful staff, FABULOUS meal had my usual "Newchurch Pie" with veg, parents had the same, hubby had Katsu Curry it was OUTSTANDING....then Oh my gosh pudding PAVLOVA was amazing ... couldn't fault anything here at all .... just make sure you are hungry when you visit!!! All local produce and homecooked food Thank you Rachel, Rob and all the staff!!! x See you next time

The Blacksmiths never fails to deliver, excellent food, staff and position. Without exception The Blacksmiths is number one pub/restaurant on the island. Can’t wait to return.

We happened apon this pub and we were so lucky. The garden was set up so diners could enjoy a beautiful view across the fields. It was a warm day but there were cosey blankets if needed. The food was delicious and the service was quick.

FANTASTIC, We visited the Blacksmith’s for a friends leaving do, 17 of us and everyone’s food was perfect, service was amazing I think our server was called Jasmin (hope I’ve got that right) nothing was too much trouble, she was happy to take photos of us 😀. We had the table for a few hours and then we sat outside in the lovely comfortable seats, and when it started getting a bit chilly we were given blankets. I cannot praise the staff enough, a massive thank you for making it a very special occasion.
