Short break for 3 family members 12th-15th April 2024. I can honestly say that this was the best holiday we've had for a long time. From the time we arrived until the time we left, we found all staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The food was pe rfect and with several different selections. The chalet was lovely having everything we wanted for a very comfortable stay. Then on to the evening entertainment, this was excellent and if I could give it a score out of 10, I would have no hesitation in awarding it 10. We are hoping to visit again soon...I would also like to award our Scottish waitress with 10 points.

Stayed at the Norton Grange for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. Whilst the Chalets were a little dated they were very Comfortable and clean, serviced daily. The facilities were excellent, plenty to do, Swimming pool and Sauna, Games room, Archery, Pitch and Putt, plenty to keep you entertained….Th highlight of the entertainment being Andy Abraham who was amazing!! The food, which was on a dinner Bed and Breakfast rate, was fantastic, wonderful choice and freshly cooked and lastly the staff, all so helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough for you…..All in all a fantastic stay and would definitely return.

We went beginning of July for a long weekend. It was excellent. All the staff were good and friendly but a special mention for Andy(table 45) and Alex on restaurant reservations. Entertainment good and gardens grounds fabulous. Loved the bird house. The chalet (C8) was adequate but needed some attention. Unfortunately the supplies depot was at the end of our road, the gate was broken therefore not shut so the view was spoilt. A beautiful site just need some TLC, especially outside decking. Swimming pool floor needs tiling, very rough, friend hurt her foot on it. Having said that, a great weekend.

Although we had nice time, the kitchen evening staff were quite unhelpful, our table was for 7.45 and by 8 o’clock a lot of the food had gone and wasn’t being replaced. When asked if they had a particular dish, was told all gone, no sorry or explanation. Some of the replies were quite abrupt. Surely the dishes should be replaced until the last person has eaten. In other Warners hotels, and I’ve been to a few, this never happened there was always plenty of food no matter what time you went into the restaurant. This did put a damper on our stay, as we ended up eating food that was left in the dishes, and it wasn’t what we wanted.

Fantastic weekend with 4 other couples, accommodation was good, all staff very friendly and the entertainment great. Good breakfast selection with kippers or haddock so I was well happy. Evening meals were also good with a roast every night for those who don't like the themed menu's. Very cheap ferry crossing with our booking and a short walk into town. My first visit to a Warners, definitely value for money and I've already booked for a return visit. Oh and ideal for friend or family groups wanting to dine and sit together for the entertainment.

A great weekend with a good lineup of bands. The venue was reasonable although a bit cramped in places. The Warner's staff were excellent and the food was plentiful and well cooked. The main building is showing its age a little and would benefit from a makeover. We have booked a return visit for next year and looking forward to it.

MY partner and i booked in online to have 2 days away at Norton Grange a short time ago 7th December 2022 much needed break , but i was taken ill a few days before , my partner Sheila phoned Norton Grange to ask could we move our booking to a later date (possible 2023) but the venue said they could not say but would get "The Manager" to contact us , Later this happened a Lady from( Head Office ) we think phoned and spoke to Sheila , This person did not show any real interest re our request to rebook our 2 days for a later date , We feel the off hand way your company works is totally unfair in the way it treats their patrons ,and is not a way to gain new business or keeping excessing patrons which is very important in these current times .

My mum and I have just returned from a stay at this superb hotel. we stayed in a premier chalet and all we can say is 'Wow'. The reception staff were excellent as was our waitress in the restaurant. The beds are extremely comfortable and the chalets warm. We were supplied with beautiful robes and fluffy towels plus lots of nibbles and drinks in our room. The breakfasts were lovely with plenty of choice on the buffet and the option to have freshly cooked pancakes, omelettes, eggs Benedict, smoked haddock with poached eggs and many more choices. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were all friendly and knowledgeable of the area. We will definitely be booking again and cant wait to come back....

Nice dining area as part of impressive hotel overlooking the Solent. Staff cheery and pleasant and gradually moving away from lockdown all table service to part buffet carvery etc. Good menu with at least five main course dishes to choose from. All part of three tasty three courses. Good on hygiene though some guests seem to avoid mask wearing. Staff all masked. Tables wiped regularly and labelled as cledaned in some areas.

We stayed four days at Norton grange and we were attended to throughout our stay by a lovely young lady Rianne. She completely wowed us with her jolly nature and professionalism. The breakfast was second to none, great choice and very well cooked. However, dinner was a let down for us. One of our party had been to Alvaston Hall in Cheshire and reported that the food was excellent. This from someone who is a very fussy eater. They had two restaurants at Alvaston Hall but only one at Norton Grange. The menu here was very limited and repetitive and if you like good old pub grub you too will be disappointed. Now, my title says good food and it was but, if you don’t like your food with garlic, herbs or sauce then you will be disappointed too as there was nothing for those who like it plain. Overall the breakfast deserved a great review but come on Norton Grange. Not everyone likes posh nosh.

We were staying at the Hotel and ate here several times.Service, from the moment we stepped over the threshold proved to be excellent. My partner is veggy and cannot have gluten. On hearing this, the waiter produced a gluten-free menu already printed for that day. We did observe that the vegetarian choices were a bit limited. "No problem, I'll speak to Chef" - and a couple of minutes we were offered a choice of two extra dishes. (Tip, though, if you do have a special diet, better to call or drop in early in the day)It is a big restaurant, lacking in character. Service was efficient and unobtrusive. The menu was inventive, especially with starters and pudding. Food quality was little variable. Roast Lamb (at the carvery) was divine and the Rice Pudding with Cherry Compote was pure and glorious School Dinners. The curries, however, served on the second night were somewhat mediocre.Smoked Haddock and Hollandaise Souffle had me regretting every mouthful as it meant there was less to look forward to with each spoonful! It was one of the tastiest dishes I've ever eaten. Not bad value, not a place for a romantic dinner for two, but certainly a reasonable venue for an outing with family or friends.

"Warners" are very good, been to all of them, but "Norton Grange" is the best.
