Lovely views, great cream tea and ploughman’s lunch! Staff and owner were lovely. Begrudge writing this review because I’d love to keep it secret!

Now re-launched as the Garden Cafe, there is ample indoor and outdoor seating, all with excellent views towards the Solent. There is a friendly welcome, and very good choice for breakfast, lunch and cream teas. The range of produce reflects the seasons, with the magnificent ploughmans lunches being supplemented with soups and curries in the cooler month, all deliciously home-made. The helpings are generous, and all elements show a hallmark of quality - even the sauces which accompany the meal options have been chosen for maximum flavour. Definitely worth stopping here, and giving it a try!

My husband and I visited The Garden Cafe twice on the last few weeks. The first visit being with family members and the second time I met my husband's Sunday cycling group there for coffee and the two of us stayed for lunch. On both visits we enjoyed ploughman's lunches which were fresh and delicious We can also recommend the strawberry cream tea. There is just a limited menu available at present, i.e. ploughman's, sandwiches, cream teas, cake etc. However, the cafe will be staying open during the Winter and plans to offer hot food options then The farm has a fantastic view of the north of the Island, The Solent and The New Forest. Add to this the friendly and helpful owner and staff who help to make your visit an enjoyable one.

Great Ploughman’s Lunch, very clean, welcoming and far reaching views. Quiche was also outstanding, as is the Strawberry Cream Tea and Trifle! Well worth visiting and we will definitely be going back.

Un buen té de crema de calidad en una buena ubicación, precios medios pero ten cuidado - el menú dice "No para compartir"!

Magnificent setting and fantastic produce! A spacious tea-room and scenic terrace looking out over pristine countryside to the Western Solent and New Forest beyond. Light lunches rustled up to order.... and as for those cream teas? Judged by many the best on the Isle of Wight (quite a claim, by the way!) - one or two scones as preferred with lashings of jam and real fresh cream. You will find a genuine welcome, and generous portions - well-being on a plate!

As 2 places with the same name, so not sure if this is the same place we went to , near the police department in Newport. This cafe is owned by a super friendly and funny Irish lady who came there in the 90’s and didn’t leave. I’ve never had such a delicious breakfast, as the menu was so different. My friends had some favorites from Ireland and we were all so impressed. I asked her to come to Long Island and set up shop there. There will be lines around the block.

The staff are amazing, so friendly and accommodating. We went with my elderly, disabled parents, and they couldn’t do enough for us. The home-made cakes are to die for and the view. I could’ve sat there for ever.

As Aussies we are critical of coffee as our culture is addicted to it. Here we had a coffee we were amazingly thrilled with. It was a REAL COFFEE with flavour, depth, texture and truly made with love thank you Emma for creating the best coffee we have had in the entirety of the UK xx
