The best restaurants in West St Leonards Hastings South East

We had one meat breakfast and one veggie , it was delicious. Huge portions ! Lovely staff. We shall be returning as soon as we can!

Fui con un amigo hoy, ya que vi el otro día. Yo vivo en la carretera y pensamos que lo verlo. Realmente precioso por dentro. Muy limpio y que me han hecho un gran esfuerzo. Servicio encantador, amable y cómodos asientos. El café era buenísimo y el dueño era encantador para hablar. Volveremos aquí más a menudo. Una joya escondida de Hastings y calle Leonards.

What a amazing dinner we just had this is by far the best takeaway we have had the chicken shish came with rice the best salad ever and proper pitta all chargrilled is now our only place to go 😀💕

This is easily the worst cafe in Sussex by far. Avoid like the plague.

My first visit to this little cafe by the sea. Looks tidy, nice decor, clean tables, small outside space. We were a bit late as they were closing in about 10 mins as we got there. We hadn't realised the closing time was early. The staff member was reluctant.  We didn't feel welcome at all. The person took our order mumbling at us. Barely speaking. I got my drink from the fridge myself after she had not got it for me or brought it over to the table. It was all a bit awkward. As we were eating the staff member was sweeping right round us . Literally about a foot away from my chair. Banging around us. Making it quite obvious she wasn't happy and wanted to leave in a rush. There was alot of raised voices even when just 4 people in there. Nice chef gave us the food and was very polite , didnt seem bothered we were there late, just a happy person i think. Food prices are a bit high for what we got. £8 ham egg and chips. The ham looked nice, could be from the butchers down the road but when i ate it , it was a bit to chewy and fatty. The chips were cooked well. The eggs looked like they had been put in a dirty oily pan. Cooked fine but the colour of all the dirty bits just not appealing. The beans have a strange tang, maybe just a cheap version that can be changed. when asked if we could have poached egg instead of fried we were asked for an extra pound to do it. Small but enough room for at least 25 people. Wouldn't return.

I have to say this is the worst fish and chips ever! We were the only 2 people it was October and quiet, There was no fish pre cooked on display, so thought great! we will get a freshly cooked fish we asked for 2 cod and a portion of chips, They took forever, after waiting for some time we got the meal and left, we only had a 6 min walk back to caravan and the Chips were soaked in grease that the grease was coming through the paper , fish was over cooked and bone dry, the batter was hard and neither fish or chips were hot. Honestly terrible we threw it to the seagulls total waste of money!! I couldn’t be bothered taking them back as I’m struggling to walk. Next time I’d go Aldi buy their fish and chips and cook it myself.

What a wonderful afternoon at the Bo Peep. Lovely atmosphere, great food and friendly hardworking staff. Looked after us superbly for a big birthday celebration, thank you Bo Peep, we had a superb afternoon with you! ❤

Can't compare to anywhere else nearby as we were only down there for 4 nights and was the only place off site we got food from but what we had was good value for money and the member of staff was polite who served us. I went on a Thursday to get the food and I was the only one in there at the time but during busy periods there could be the chance of feeling cramped. I would probably give this a 3.5 rather than a 4 but it's better than a 3 so decided to go up rather than down.

This is a lovely little bakery that is definitely doing its best within the latest Covid-19 restrictions. The freshly prepared rolls are prepared to order to ones choice and are of good quality and a good price. Recommended. Enjoy.

I was absolutely disgusted with the state of the women’s toilets. The lock on the door didn’t work, the cubicle was awash with water and the toilet seat was covered in urine. The flush was broken. I will never go there again as it makes me wonder what state the kitchens are in

Portion sizes were huge! Doner meat was peppery and flavoursome. Chicken doner meat nice but seasoning could have been sharper. Chips were crispy and hot. Front of house was friendly and polite. Will return. Thank you.

Quite possibly the best Chinese we have had in years, hot and very tasty! Will now become our new Chinese, cannot fault our meal in any way.

Incredible fish and chip restaurant! We family holiday to Hastings every year and we always come here! We absolutely love Oceans Eleven staff aswell as their food! You want real proper chips, and of course local fish! So tasty and very good portions for the prices you pay!
