Love efes food and staff from the guys and girls on the phone and drivers mangers owners all lovely people and the food is the best in hastings, been using efes for 20yrs

In a word, rank! Absolutely, and totally rank! Over cooked and dry meat, chips seemed to be a good 6hrs old Drenched in sauce to the point that it's dripping off

Their ex large donner kebab feeds two so makes it the cheapest take away for two. And they are nice people! Now with posh face lift but still great food

Always polite friendly staff and usually good food, but tonight was a complete let down!...kebab meat looked anemic & didn't taste nice at all so it went straight in the bin! Not sure what they put in they're garlic mayo but even after just a couple of tastes, it gave me a dry mouth all night, couldn't stop drinking!...wasn't offered a replacement or refund so unfortunately won't be returning.

Hot combination kebab. And chips. Quickly delivered. Very polite delivery person. Both meats cooked well but I would have preferred the donner be more cooked. The chicken could do with little seasoning but its grilled well and tastes good. Garlic sauce a little like yogurt. Burger sauce tasty. Chips are skimmy fries very nice. I'd buy again thank you .

I am a long time customer. The food I ordered this evening took over an hour to arrive so I thought fair enough, they are obviously busy. When it arrived it was cold and all the bags were soaking wet where they had obviously been in a delivery bag or sitting on the shop counter for a long time waiting to be delivered. I don't expect piping hot food but this was completely cold. If you offer a delivery service you should not send out multiple drop offs with the same driver as its not fair on the ones being delivered last and COLD. The food quality is excellent as usual that's why it's a shame it came cold.

Ordered chicken and chips tonight unfortunately the chicken supplied was the cheap leg cut but worse than that overcooked totally dry so went straight into the bin!! I can do so much better and I don’t sell food! Second time of being disappointed there won’t be a third! Unfortunately stomach issues day after!!!!

Worst kebab shop in Hastings.i ordered a large and walked out with a child's portion and I paid 9.50 I wouldn't recommend if you want a kebab go errolls I have never been disappointed

Taken a little longer to arrive was told 40 mins arrived 65. However the House special meat was very good little lamb chop. But the most disapointing was with the salad under the meat sweating & hot not even a half tomato or any cucumber. The contents should really be in a tin foil not the polystyrene box as shown. And the chips well ends was soggy sweated again in the polystyrene box. The garlic & chilli sauce was lovely. I afraid they need to up the game as lot's of competition out there . 7/10

One of the worst kebabs I've ever had in my life, bit of chopped lettuce, bit if chopped onion, under cooked kebab, no sauce and it was dry... I will never order from here again... Don't ever order from here you will regret it

Just got their menu yesterday so thought we would try it. Don't bother, no salad and the marinated lamb was inedible, even my dog wouldn't eat it. Will definitely avoid this take away. Go somewhere else. Avoid at all cost, if I could give no stars I would.

Loved the kebab was really good , good heat however portion was large and looked more like regular asked for a bit extra and was no problem so all over a really good kebab

Lovely kebabs.but last visit didn't get a lot of salad.very small portion.and you dont get cucumber. But will try them again as meat is lovely

First time we visited Efes was on a Saturday had a look at some reviews so we tried it and I must say it's the best kebab shop I've had in a long while they have a great selection with a first class service I certainly would recommend this place we collected and was still hot and fresh by the time we got home 5 stars 🌟

Ordered a mixed kebab, and a second pitta. Pitta was stone cold and the rest Luke warm at best. Didn't appear any effort had been taken to keep the food warm during delivery. Poor service poor value for money poor food. Lesson learned

Got an XL Chicken+lamb shish kebab and the pitter bread was soaked the XL might as well have been a Extra Small the sauce was like someone watered it down who messes up garlic sauce the amount of chicken and lamb I got wouldn’t even compare to a grain of sand I put the chicken in my mouth and it was like pouring water on a stial piece of bread soggy but chewy I tried the lamb and I had to double check the receipt and check that I did order lamb not a rubber I can’t believe I wasted my money on this place do not go here my dog scoffs everything but when I called him in to start eating my kebab he sniffed it looked up at me and walked away

Got XL Donna, tasted ok but not worth £8.50, I commented on how light it was, guy just laughed after taking the cash and said it was a big box and inflation! Won't bother again.

Outrageously good burgers, kebabs and garlic bread. Just avoid the pies because they're microwaved. Tasty pies but due to the microwave they have the soggy consistency of a full nappy. Pies should only ever be oven warmed, says this observer 👍

Food cold got salad on doner meat that didn't even fit in the palm of my hand 😒. No kids drinks.and the new staff are so miserable. So won't be going there again.

Food not bad got our order wrong and try and not to have a fight with the locals if you go to collect as they don't understand about wearing face mask when entering the shop or social distance even when there is three big signs on window before entering

Yes it’s a kebab shop, probably the best in town. But OMG the garlic bread is actually unreal. If you’re feeling like pushing the boat out then go for cheesy, you will not regret it. You’re welcome

They have recently moved the shop layout around and it's made a great difference as they can display more of what they sell.The food as always looks and tastes great the service was fast and they are always helpful

We had a lamb donner, chips and 1/4pounder with cheese. Kebab was tasty, burger was perfectly cooked. Chips could have been better but were ok. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will go back.

I collected from here for the first time tonight, I will definitely use again. The meat was gorgeous, chilli sauce is really good, men were really friendly.

I've been going to Efes, a family run warm welcoming kebab restaurant for over 20 years. They offer a great selection of donner kebabs, chips, burgers, pizza all at various sizes and at competitive prices. Their Efes special is one of the best combination orders and will fill two or three people. If you're looking for a quick order, they do the job.

As far as this ♊ is concerned 'efes' are the best take away bar none. I always order there sirloin steak well done n like man oh man it's so succulent n tender n the portions are large enough t satisfy the largest of appetites. Such a shame as read some reviews so thought would give a try. Home delivery, turned up stone cold and the chips were disgusting, like cold bits of over cooked cardboard, no cucumber or lemon with the salad . My Husband eats anything but he couldn't eat this. Sadly won't be using again !

Don't have the chicken Dinner it's disgusting, but on the other hand the lamb diner was lush..

Just ordered here for the first time, truly is out of this world the meat has excellent flavour and isn't swimming in grease, the garlic bread was delicious and the chips were cooked beautifully will order again

The food was disapointing once it did arrive nearly an hour after the estimated delivery time. It appeared that part of the order was cooked later than the rest, After a reminder about my order delivery was stated to be 10 to 20 minutes which in reality was 40 minutes. I don't think I will use this food shop or hungry house again

Just because I was the 1st customer for today at 5 pm you dare to send me a cold kebab from yesterday hoping I am an idiot and will fall for that..??? I paid for a fresh kebab and they send me a reheated one, when opened the box in the middle was frozen as they kept it in the fridge over night, then I call them to collect the kebab and they had the cheek to get rude on the phone instead to apologies! Never again. Shame to you..!

I've got a mixed kebab it is the best kebabs I've had in a long time it only took 25 minutes to come and it was piping hot I highly recommend it
