Oceanside Cafe in Hastings

Great cafe on the beach with adjacent free parking. Very dog friendly. Lovely welcoming staff. We had a lovely brunch of ham, egg and chips - very nice quality. Also a bacon and sausage bap with fries. Cooked to perfection. Pot of tea for one yielded 3 cups, also nice selection of cold drinks. Nice menu of tasty food, reasonably priced. Will return.

I love it here. Often pop in when out for a walk. Staff are always very friendly and the service is great. Everything is spotless and the toilet is great. Very dog friendly with Bowks of water and I think they do some doggie treats. Always some specials of the day but the main menu, whilst not vast, has enough of a selection for everyone. This week I had the pancakes with fresh fruit and maple syrup. An absolutely bargain at £7.50 for such a large plate of food!! Lots of regulars come in and everyone is made to feel welcome

I continue to LOVE this place...they are so good at giving you exactly what you want...adding fried onions, avocado, making up a breakfast as you want it...Its more vegan frieldly than apparent on its menue...so I think they are losing a trick here and have told them so. Very dog friendly too. Parking is easy...and you get to look at the sea. I have seen this cafe from the 1990's...had various owners...this is a match for the best of them.

Lovely breakfast this morning catching up with a friend. Weather was so nice so we sat outside and enjoyed the view. Coffee was excellent and the sausage and egg sandwich was delicious.

The coffee was tepid. We waited forty minutes for the food to arrive. I ordered pancakes & was told only half a portion left but was charged full price. The customers who ordered pancakes after me were told exactly the same. The pancakes were undercooked & soggy in the middle. I think they may have been frozen. I asked for crispy bacon - it was very undercooked & fatty. Such a shame, as the staff are friendly and the cafe is in a prime position on the beach. Let down by their food & drink

We had one meat breakfast and one veggie , it was delicious. Huge portions ! Lovely staff. We shall be returning as soon as we can!

I wanted a full English while looking at the sea. I got everything I wanted. Delicious food, friendly staff, extra mushrooms. Perfect.

Sunday morning breakfast, a bacon and egg bap and a cappuccino, both absolutely delicious, service is always friendly and efficient, perfect looking out to sea. Would recommend a visit here when having a walk.

Stopped here for a drink and something to eat sadly no seating as it was busy so ordered takeaway was going to have sausage baps but was told it would be a half hour wait so opted for the homemade sausage rolls which were very nice the staff are lovely though and clearly work very hard

We had lunch and it was fabulous. The staff and service were great. I ordered a Cheese Plowman's which I expected to be fairly basic, but actually it was huge and delicious. My husband had a great pasty which he really enjoyed.

Food is good at a reasonable price and the coffee & tea great when the weather is warm sit outside

We drove down to the coast to see the sea and the weather was a bit disappointing…, but we found the perfect answer: a friendly cafe serving good coffee and a mean Full English , immediately overlooking the ocean!! We were warm and dry behind glass looking out to sea.. chatting to the genuinly kind and friendly women who run it. Cannot wait to go back there!!

A very welcoming place on a cold winter's day. Friendly staff and delicious food, freshly prepared. Great for snacks (take away available) and sit down lunches. It is also dog friendly, both inside and outside. Can certainly recommend the ham, egg and chips and portion sizes are more than ample. Very good value for money.

Visited here after a coastal walk, great service, fantastic food. We had three main dishes, a Denver omelette with contained bacon, peppers and cheese, Mediterranean vegetable tart with side salad and sausage rolls. Food prepared freshly and top quality produce, the tart was home made and was perfect. This is a little gem I highly recommend you visit here.

My first and last visit to this cafe. Bought a drink and a Halloumi & Salad burger, the bun was terribly burned. Too costly for what it was!!

Whenever we shop in Bexhill, we always go to the Oceanside Cafe because we are sure of getting a good cup of coffee and snacks. It is perfectly placed on the beach with both outdoor and indoor seating. Very friendly staff who do everything they can to make sure your needs are catered for. It's also dog friendly, which is a bonus.

Prettily located cafe on Bexhill sea-front. We only had drinks which were fine. Staff friendly and prices reasonable. Not easy to find but we parked in M&S carpark (off A259 Bexhill Road) all day with no time restrictions posted. Then walked under railway line to the sea-front.

A very popular cafe for anyone walking (or cycling) along the Bulverhythe Coastal Link. It can, sometimes, be difficult to find a table as it can get very busy. There is a very good choice of snacks and drinks (both hot and cold) and alcoholic drinks are served from lunchtime). The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Good value for money and it is also dog friendly, both inside and outside).

The food is delicious and very good value for money. There is seating both inside and outside and, an extra bonus, it is dog friendly.

Stopped off here mid walk for a rest and coffee. My latte was hot and tasty. Service was quick and friendly. Prices ok. Could have done without the badly behaved dog on the table next door, but not the cafe's fault.

Delicious hot coffees. Sometimes cappuccinos can be just warm, but these were hot, even after eating my just made that morning mackerel pate, which came with warmed pitta and salad. Husbands massive role had 3 slices of thickcut bacon. Great friendly service, well priced, delicious food. We will certainly be back
