Have been coming here on and off for years and as always great fresh sandwiches made to order. A small shop worth visiting good thick cut breads with a variety of fillings. Some seating at rear if you don't want a takeaway. It may not be the prettiest looking shop the from outside but is clean and the sandwiches really do make up for it. Go enjoy a sandwich worth the price.

Wow wow wow! My girlfriend and I tried Smoke for the first time and they did not disappoint, the quality of the food is AMAZING...I have not stopped talking about how good the food is to my friends and family. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone. A happy customer for life. Thanks Ryan

I lived in Gravesend for 3 years and never went to Saucy Dough. I’ve now lived in Medway for the past 3 years and finally tried and was astonished. We got one of their new flavours Pepperoni Hot Honey….absolutely to die for. AJ gave us a bit of history about the place and told us how every ingredient is freshly acquired. Dough, in house, stone oven, so the undercarriage is just right. Best pizza place in Kent…hands down

This is a super traditional cafe serving a wide variety of meals - not just sandwiches and snacks. Prices are very reasonable. The location is great - at Gravesend Prom, right beside the river. There’s plenty of seating, in and out. Public toilets nearby.

The new delivery driver one of the Weasleys needs to be a bit more respectful after my order was delivered wrong and had to wait another 20 minutes for it to be corrected only to be spoken to disrespectfully by a delivery boy

Evening Visit. We had seen this pub after a river boat trip and decided to try it. This split-level pub has a number of cosy spaces for patrons to sit. Downstairs is a bar with fewer seats, which is used as a live music venue. There are toilets on both levels. There is also outside seating and good views of the river. We decided to eat, and my partner had a prawn cocktail, which was fine. I decided to try the cockles and bacon on toast . It sounds like a good idea, but it didn't work. The bacon was like pancetta, and the cockles could have been cooked in the bacon fat, fine . Instead, a rather overpowering garlic butter was poured over, and the toast was lying in it. It was also very salty. I managed to finish, but it was not easy to do. For a main , I decided on Tuna Nicoise, another disaster. The salad was just OK. The olives had pits, the eggs which were described as runny on the menu , were cold and hardboiled, and it seemed like the salad and eggs had been prepared much earlier as they were chilled. the tuna was supposed to be seared. It wasn't. It was overcooked and lukewarm. Overall, it was an unpleasant and unappetising plate of food. My partner had a roast. He ate most of it, but it looked unappealing to me. He left some, and I left most of mine.. There was an error over the bill at the bar, their fault . It was corrected. Pleasant staff and decent bar, but I wouldn't eat here again..
