Brilliant place, well worth a visit.

It's really cool to eat lunch in a pub dating back to, I think, the 1400s. Food was tasty if a little pricy. I'm definitely considering going back.

Amazing pub and food. Will not give 5 stars only because they don't accept dogs everywhere, they have a small part for dogs inside that was full, so we needed to stay outside. Apart from that, delicious food and kind staff.

Has been part of my life for many years. From growing up in the town to moving away and meeting up with family on occasional visits to holding a wake for a close family member. Recently been there as a “before we go home” quick drink when in town. It’s old, quirky, full of tug and river memories and gives me a a comfort and a sense of “peace” when I am there. Rated food as a 5 simply because I have never eaten there and there’s no “not applicable” not fair to vote them down - others seem to enjoy what they had. Keep doing what you do.

Awesome pub. If you come to Gravesend you must visit. Reasonably priced drinks and food.

We stopped by this pub for a quick lunch and ordered sandwiches with bacon. Unfortunately, the bacon rind was chewy and not rendered, which was quite off-putting—we both ended up handling the sandwich pulling apart the bacon and ultimately couldn’t finish the sandwiches despite how great they looked. In this case the looks were very deceiving the sandwiches were very disappointing and cost £8.50 each To make matters worse, we found a hair tangled in the chips we ordered, which was absolutely revolting. While the staff replaced the fries promptly, the experience had already soured our appetite, and we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat the second serving. So we left both the chips and the sandwiches. On the bright side, we did enjoy a nice view of the river, but overall, it wasn’t the best experience for us.

Ideal for family get together or night out with friends.

A cute and cosy pub! They have a great selection of dishes, I've enjoyed the food from here and the workers are very nice!

Right by the Thames, this multilayered pub has beer and food that can be consumed in a mix of spaces, with a pier short walk away.

Esta fue mi primera vez aquí y yo estaba aquí junto con mi familia para una comida de cumpleaños de 21 calles. Habíamos reservado nuestra comida, una vez llegado tuvimos que esperar un rato a que vinieran a comprobar el pedido de comida y poner la pelota rodando con ella. Al pedir bebidas en el bar el personal estaba más preocupado por hablar entre sí que servir. Éramos unos pocos, sin embargo la comida tardó un poco en llegar, una vez que comenzó a salir estaba muy escalonado con la gente recibiendo comidas allí. 4 personas habían pedido hamburguesas y todos ellos dijeron que estaban quemadas y difíciles de masticar, el bollo se había secado y duro como si se hubiera sentado debajo de una lámpara caliente. El personal entró y preguntó a una persona cómo estaba su comida. Cuando se quejó de esto en el bar al pagar la cuenta, un miembro del personal fue muy grosero al respecto, sin embargo, se disculpó y dijo que no debería haber hablado conmigo de la manera en que lo hizo. Esta no fue una visita agradable y no es probable que regrese.

Grate old pub, staff is friendly and nice. Prices are very fair and the atmosphere is greater. And don't blame it on the drink, the whole place has the floor in a 5-10° angle towards the center ;). Highly recommended;)

Went for a 50th Birthday and it was a great night

Don’t let the interior question to go here. Food is prompt, tasty and decent price. We got whitebait, turkey & leek pie x 2 , Camembert, olives & 6 drinks for £90 xx

Great staff at the bar Tusday 4th Feb 25

Had lunch with friends today at Three Daws in Gravesend. The lamb roast dinner was really tasty...in fact the best I've had outside of my kitchen! Staff were really welcoming too. Will definitely be returning.

Food was really tasty, great portions! Which isn’t often the case nowadays when dining out.. lovely historic pub, sat at a table tucked away with great views of the river. Service from the staff was excellent

Nos encanta este pub y hemos comido muy bien aquí antes. Sin embargo, hubo una decepción general alrededor de la mesa esta noche. El jamón y los huevos producían jamón muy seco. Al halloumi 'le faltaba algo' y aunque el relleno de mi tarta era bueno, la pastelería era espesa y dura en algunos lugares, mientras que empapada y robusta en otros. Parecía como si hubiera sido microondas y luego arrojado a un horno caliente para crujir y luego arrojado en el plato, mal presentado. Muy decepcionante. Sumado a esto un miembro del grupo pidió un shandy y TODOS aquellos que bebían cerveza o sidra tenían algún tipo de shandy servido. Esto fue disculpado y rápidamente remediado. Mientras que el personal era amable y servicial , después de haber pedido un par de minutos más con los menús, nos dejaron durante unos 15 minutos más esperando para hacer pedidos y tuvimos que encontrar a alguien. También necesita hablar con la encantadora y sonriente servidora que piensa que asomar la cabeza en la habitación y preguntar / decir "impresionante! ! ! ' (puntuación adicional esencial aquí) con un pulgar hacia arriba es apropiado! (necesitando entonces explicarse). ¡Muy extraño! Volveremos como hemos comido bien antes, pero esta noche fue la falta de brillo por decir lo menos.

Attended an event there recently. Venue was clean, staff very friendly and food was delicious. I had the red snapper which was cooked to perfection.

Tuve mi fiesta de cumpleaños número 50 en una de las habitaciones de alquiler de este pub. ( noviembre 2023 ) . Tenía comida y bebidas que fue proporcionada por el personal. El servicio fue excelente. Personal muy servicial y amable. Sabrosa comida caliente proporcionada que tenía fantásticos sabores auténticos.

Buena comida y gran selección de cervezas reales en un ambiente relajante en un pub tradicional en el paseo marítimo del Támesis. Lo que no te gusta

Just a regular halfway house meet venue for a catch up with a mate over a pint or two. Excellent selection of ales on the hand pump and likewise lagers and ciders. Haven't eaten there but food does look good and a nice seating area to dine, but for me it's sitting outside watching the river traffic go by. Staff are always friendly as are the local regulars. Highly recommend a visit if in Gravesend.

Had a pint of Jake the snake a lovely golden ale

Recently visited for a family get together, 16 of us. We booked by telephone within a week before and when we got there we basically had a little function room to ourselves. We ordered drinks which were a little slow to come out, when arrived the waiter managed to spill some down my daughter’s back. I ignored this as he looked young and inexperienced. Food was pre ordered a couple of days before , I had burger and chips with salad. Most of the food came out pretty much together except one which eventually came out as I was nearly finished. The burger was ok a little dry but that’s just my preference. Desert was lovely I only had the sorbet trio. A lovely pub very busy and reasonably priced. I’d visit again but as a smaller party to see if it was the sheer numbers they struggled with. I might add this was a Sunday lunchtime and was quite busy.

Amazing food, great price, and all the staff are absolutely fantastic... waitressses and waiters attentive with excellent knowledge on their food & drinks.. which actually makes it.. and obviously big shout out to the chefs for producing amazing food 😋 There is nothing worse than going to a restaurant, and waiters and waitresses don't know their product.. but not in the Three Daws!! Top team top restaurant 👌

Excellent little pub overlooking the water. Great service with a great selection of beers and ales. Sunday roast was very good at a reasonable price! Will definitely be back to try more from the menu.

Visita nocturna. Habíamos visto este pub después de un viaje en barco por el río y decidimos probarlo. Este pub de dos niveles tiene una serie de espacios acogedores para que los clientes se sienten. En la planta baja hay un bar con menos asientos, que se utiliza como lugar de música en vivo. Hay baños en ambos niveles. También hay asientos exteriores y buenas vistas del río. Decidimos comer, y mi pareja tomó un cóctel de gambas, que estaba bien. Decidí probar los berberechos y el tocino en tostadas. Parece una buena idea, pero no funcionó. El tocino era como panceta, y los berberechos podrían haber sido cocinados en la grasa de tocino, bien. En su lugar, se vertió una mantequilla de ajo bastante abrumadora, y la tostada yacía en ella. También era muy salado. Logré terminar, pero no fue fácil hacerlo. Para empezar, decidí Atún Nicoise, otro desastre. La ensalada estaba bien. Las aceitunas tenían huesos, los huevos que se describían como corridos en el menú , estaban fríos y duros, y parecía que la ensalada y los huevos se habían preparado mucho antes ya que estaban refrigerados. No lo era. Estaba demasiado cocido y tibio. En general, era un plato de comida desagradable y poco apetitoso. Mi compañero hizo un asado. Se comió la mayor parte, pero me pareció poco atractivo. Él dejó algunos, y yo dejé la mayor parte de los míos. Hubo un error en la cuenta del bar, culpa suya. Fue corregido. Personal agradable y un bar decente, pero no volvería a comer aquí.

Varias veces en los últimos años, yo y mi esposo viajamos en tren desde el sureste de Londres a Gravesend para abordar Waverly paddle steamer, y cada vez visitamos 3 Daws siempre pre reservar la cena antes de navegar, todo sobre las visitas anteriores perfecto, esta vez domingo 6 de octubre de 2024 , el saludo fue como las visitas anteriores, amable, mostrado a nuestra mesa, nuestras bebidas surgieron rápido, luego una espera a que se tomara nuestra orden de inicio, terminamos los entrantes, esperamos pacientemente a que el servidor volviera a nuestra mesa y nosotros - preguntamos ¿podría tener nuestro principal, ella respondió que está listo para su red principal respondimos que sí, luego nos quedamos esperando casi 50 minutos, frustrante viendo al mismo servidor estar atento a otras mesas cercanas que vinieron después de nosotros, y no esperé mucho tiempo para sus pedidos, eventualmente fui al bar a verificar nuestro pedido como esperando 50 minutos y mencioné otras mesas no esperando tanto, el personal se disculpó justo cuando se entregaba nuestro pedido, después de que terminamos pedimos la factura, el servidor nos compró dijo que teníamos que pagar en el bar, luego notamos que el mismo servidor llevó a otros comensales pago a sus mesas, fui al bar a pagar la cuenta , no puedo culpar al servicio del bar , el personal femenino preguntó estaba todo bien, apareció avergonzada cuando dije que estaba bien, no dejé propina y esto es algo que casi nunca hago , agregaré la salchicha y puré fue encantador, visitaré de nuevo Daws, sin embargo esta visita fue una decepción

Reservado aquí después de haber leído recibió críticas, pero fue bastante decepcionado. El personal era muy amable y atento, pero la mayoría de la comida, aunque a un precio razonable era decididamente promedio. Lo más decepcionante fue el asado. Había mucha carne, pero las papas asadas eran muy difíciles de cortar y las verduras generalmente no eran muy atractivas ni en presentación ni en sabor. El pudín de Yorkshire no era casero. El hígado de becerros era sin embargo sabroso al igual que la tarta gitana

Really lovely Sunday roast. The staff managed to find a table for us even though we hadn't booked (thanks). Great range of real ales which my husband enjoyed.

I'm giving four for the food because my beans were cold, but apart from that, it was ok. It's good pub grub and plenty of it. Lovely old pub with a nice relaxed atmosphere and lovely friendly staff. Lots of choice on the menu and their pies are homemade, I believe they looked really good. My friend really enjoyed his steak pie.👍 The calves' liver and mash and mushroom omelet were also very good.

Just had a brilliant succulent chicken and mushroom pie. It was ginormous and very tasty The pints were just as good. I couldn't finish my meal. The spuds roasted and crunchy. A must place to go to for food and a very good atmosphere. Shame, I am here only for a night. Thank you. Sid.

Wonderful place right by the river, excellent menu selection which was noted right away and lovely quick service, delicious food. Indoor and outdoor seating area, all very clean and well presented, will certainly come back again, recommended to all! ☆☆☆☆☆

Attended an anniversary celebration here. It was beautifully presented. We received a warm welcome. We had the buffet selection which was good.

The staff at Three Daws were friendly, bar staff had a great sense of humour. By any account to food was nothing to shout about. Affordable prices for the average family. Reasonable food served. Cost bar/restaurant dining areas. Outdoor areas offer a veranda and paved seating area overlooking Thames and Tilbury Fort.

Friendly staff. Decent beers. The best view in a pub in Gravesend. This traditional pub is a step back in time and has a nautical theme fitting with it's surroundings and Gravesend's rich history. A Spanish galleon was moored outside at the time of the visit.

Beer was great! But I didn’t like the food. Sorry! Location 100/10 🙌 Perfect place to have a beer and enjoy the view. But I will not recommend this place for food. We ordered baked potatoes and they did not taste good.

Lived in gravesend all my life and have never been here before, my mistake. Went today (sunday) with my wife, son and his girlfriend. Lovely table and view overlooking river. Food and service excellent and very reasonable prices. Will be going back. Loved it, thank you. Len.

Most expensive Aperol spritz ever @ £11 total rip off . And they didn't make it properly bar maid didn't have clue !!!!! Who puts Lemon slices in it should have been Orange slices 😠😠 Also Inches Cider is £1 cheaper at the Clarenden hotel . Ps won't be returning for sure .

A really old traditional pub with a quirky layout. There's outside seating by the river. The food was excellent and the service was friendly. Parking is available a short walk away.

Really nice oldy worldy pub inside. Weather was nice so sat outside , there is lots of outside seating . In nice weather this is a gem of a place overlooking the Thames. Food was of good standard and staff were there but not overbearing. Would definitely visit here again

This is a wonderful pub with a very warm welcome. We reserved a table for a small family gathering after a funeral service and when we arrived we were really pleased to be shown to our table in a delightful private area with riverside views. The service and food was excellent, thank you to The Three Daws, we would highly recommend this inn for any occasion.

Great pub, lovely views and nice food. Only thing is that with the ferry cancelled out, due to ongoing money issues, you cannot get to it from Tilbury without driving across the bridge. Real shame as this was a lovely day out for myself and my friends

We had a lovely and very tasty lunch. Portions are generous, even with opting for a small serving. Chips were lovely and crisp, and their homemade salad dressing one of the best I have had. Staff are attentive and friendly. Cost is very reasonable, could not fault anything. Definitely will be back.

Not to mention the beer was good too! Staff were very friendly and polite and amazing with my little one at the end bringing her out a massive ice cream! Truly could praise this place enough! 10000% recommend and will be coming back again

Absolutely beautiful venue, we had a wake in there, the staff were brilliant kind and professional, the food smelt and looked amazing and the buffet for the wake was so good? Absolutely beautiful place will definitely visit again when I’m next in gravesend

Nice welcoming from the staff, had the large Sunday lunch ,very tasty and hot of fresh food. Great options on menu and the restaurant is very well presented. It's a place to put on your visit schedule.

Popped in for lunch while visiting Gravesend shopping/sights ! Attentive service and both food and drinks appeared quickly. Plenty of choice on menu although we both went for something simple. Very impressed and beer was good too. Recommended

Great Real Ale Pub and restaurant

An amazing place with a lovely atmosphere. To go there in the evening and sit by the pier with the lovely views of the Thames River. It is just fantastic.

The roast was awful but the rest of the food was good. Very characterful venue.

They said had to change my order 2 times wanted ham egg fish then I had to eat fish chips and dessert menu was bad I would not eat here every again 1 star the service is rubbish

Thea food is basic processed and fried no fresh vegetables, bland and not tasty and even when you tell staff they make no comment or give any discount .

Interesting range of unusual ales and a good "pub grub" menu.
