This may not be indicative of everyone’s experience but our experience was very poor. We ordered food and the waiter then left us in the restaurant on our own to run to the shop (we could see out the window) to get ingredients. We ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs to be fair were very nice but the rest wasn’t what was on the menu. I was meant to have gammon but had bacon, it was meant to be on muffins but it was upside down burger buns. We then had what I assume is the owner come back with a delivery and shout through the restaurant dumping boxes here there and everywhere. This is where things took a turn, we overheard the owner talk about Gravesend being “full of Turks and Indians” and then ask us if “it’s nice having your food cooked by an English cook”. I struggle to justify how this could be interpreted any other way than xenophobia or racism. I’d like to believe this isn’t the case and if not then I strongly suggest the staff here be very mindful of their language and phrasing. We reluctantly settled our bill but will not be returning. This is a real shame as FS Steakhouse under Franco used to be a real hidden gem. Since this new takeover it has been ruined. Lots of the other positive reviews also look to be friends or family members of the owner. Avoid and go somewhere else.

Definitely one of best if not their best restaurants, I’ve been too in Kent, food was amazing service was brilliant definitely will be going back very soon 👍🏻

Ordered takeout from here tonight, not for the first time, and once again did not disappoint, food is well priced and bloody lush! Still my go to takeaway! No photos as couldn’t wait to dig in! If you haven’t tried this place I really recommend you do!!

The steak I ordered was tasteless. Felt like it was left on the fridge for ages and there was no seasoning at all. The chicken wings tasted like they were refried. Dry inside. The barbeque sauce was not the best either. The chips are expensive for the cheap quality. The Chef was not using an apron and looked like he was wearing an old pijama shirt. Also the menu is from the old owner and the new one is a printed paper. That needs to get better too. The owner is a nice guy and seems to be putting a lot of effort into it however I think he needs some guidance. The place was also dark and needs some lightning or perhaps some of them was just not on.

First meal here tonight. Great burgers, great portion sizes, great prices, great staff. Will definitely be back for more

£10 for a burger that’s smaller than a McDonald’s burger squirty cheap cheese sauce and watery cheap milkshakes no ice cream or nice toffee sauce used definitely no where near the quality of the money spent would never re order

Absolutely shocking place! DO NOT EAT FROM HERE! I have paid £35.00 for it all to just go in the bin! Hair on my Hot dog and my Burger was Pink in the middle! The brioche buns as they call it are stale as a anything! My shoe would be better to eat! The manager told me to bring the food back but I won’t as this will cause a serious problem inside the restaurant. I am leaving this review for all the public to see including the manager and staff at this steak house restaurant! Disgusting ain’t the word!

Quite cold and stale buffalo chicken chips. Really not pleasant. Burger was average at best but the onion rings were alright! Overall fairly disappointed considering the hype they try to give on social media.

chips over cooked food and drink all in one bag so the cold can made food cold and moisture from can made the paper bag the chips and jalapeños all splits burger soggy .

Food not the best. Chicken strips were tiny, tasted like frozen chicken goujons from the supermarket and came with a tiny pot of sauce half filled. Loaded chips came in a tiny portion with minimal toppings.

Lovely hotdog had the bacon and cheese dog and some fries will be coming back again to try the smash burger

Tasty hot dog. Topping on the cheesesteak fries didn't contain much meat but was nice enough. Delivered on time

Lovely food, nicely cooked. There was a problem with my order abd I was phoned by the restaurant so that they could sort it out. The food arrived hot and slightly early by a friendly driver, so it is full marks for service I am looking forward to going to the restaurant on person at some point.

Shocking Breakfast - Cheese on toast- the minimal cheese that had been put on was stuck to the covering of the box. Hash Browns were burnt, as were the sausages in the baguette.

My husband booked a table here for Valentine’s Day. We got ready and arrived at the restaurant only to find it closed. I phoned the number on the board and it was number not been recognised. My husband was angry that they hadn’t informed him they was going to be closed. Fortunately he managed to book a table somewhere else. We certainly will not be returning here or recommending it to anyone.

Yet another fantastic meal, great friendly service, another perfectly cooked fillet steak with gorgonzolla sauce and home made onion rings delicious, plus a tasty cheeseburger, freshly made with sweet potatoe fries , accompied with a great Italian house red.

After a take out from there a while ago we finally got around to visiting the restaurant today. I took the whole family. Everyone left there satisfied and amazed at how a place like this is in our home town and we've never been. Made us feel like we was part of their family. Message for the restaurant; Please keep it up guys, you're doing everything right.

What a place. We had a take out from there a couple of months ago and was amazed as how good it was, we then finally visited the restaurant today. The food, unbelievable, the service, professional. I took my family which included my children and was a party of 11, and it felt like we popped in to see my Nan.

My Brother In Law and Sister In Law took us there today for lunch, as they use it regularly and told us that the food is very good and the people who run it are very hospitable. We were not disappointed, our steak was cooked perfectly, my Sister In Law had a Pizza and it looked lovely and smelt lovely too. Nothing was too much trouble, the wine was lovely and we would definitely visit there again.

Absolute joke! Ordered from them on Deliveroo took 2 hours just to find out they are closed!

Amazing food both our steaks where cooked perfectly how we asked for there chips are so fluffy on the inside and perfectly crisp on the outside a little bit pricey but definitely worth the extra. We went on a Saturday evening and it was empty no idea why as it isn't the food or service 10/10 will definitely go again

Not a great experience here, service was appalling, food took 1:45 mins to come, only 1 chef and 1 waiter on duty. People actually walked out because of the very very slow service. Customer service appalling. Will definitely not be returning.

I found the steak to be quite tough a chewy. It's priced quite high and I was expecting a good, aged, thick steak but that wasn't what we got. The steak was thin and chewy. The service was good and staff friendly enough but I don't feel the price of the food reflected the quality.

Had a meal here to celebrate a 60th birthday and we were all very impressed with the food, the service and the value for money! We were a bit worried when we turned up as it was very quiet but can only say, everyone else’s loss, we had a great meal and left very satisfied👍😀

I have eaten at F S steakhouse many times and never been dissapointed by the friendly and helpful staff, serving great quality steaks cooked to perfection alongside excellent handmade , freshly cooked pizzas by Italian trained Franco. Their Italian wines are well priced and varied and worth checking out.

We have had many meals in this quiet gem of a steakhouse, Italian run, so amazing pizzas from their highly trained pizza chef, Franco. Reasonably price and excellent Italian wines to choose from and some of the best fillet steak I have tried, cooked to perfection . ch3f

Visited the restaurant on recommendation from family and friends. We were not disappointed. Lovely food in a spotless restaurant. Clean tidy serving wonderfully tasty food. Good value for money with good portion sizes. Will definitely be going back soon. Highly recommend

We had a lovely meal on Mother's Day. The food was excellent and well cooked. We were cordially welcomed and the staff were attentive throughout our meal. A lovely touch on departure was the gift of a single red rose to both of the Mum's in the party.

Edit: I've updated my rating as they fixed the condiments! Had a lovely evening here tonight - the atmosphere was good, staff friendly, the food was tasty and I would definitely go back. Being critical however, you can hardly describe a meal as coming with aubergine and courgette when it comes with a single slice of each. They did replace my fries upon request with a well dressed salad, of which I am thankful. The quality of the food was excellent though and at £16.95 I would expect this, which is why I was disappointed to be given condiments that I am usually served in a budget greasy spoon. Some decent brand mayonnaise, or preferably a nicely presented pot would have gone a long way.

We decided to visit as our youngest daughter was craving steak and chips. We invited my husbands parents to join us. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal and have already decided we will return with our extended family.

I've ordered from here a couple of times recently using Uber eats and have been very happy doing so. The cheeseburger and chips are really good, one of the better burgers in town. The steak sandwich is also a fantastic choice, I was really surprised with the amount of steak in the sandwich and the quality of the bun was excellent as well because let's be honest, the bun or the bread is the most important part of the sandwich. I've also had some of the dessert here again also fantastic. I haven't eaten in but I'm looking forward to doing so.

Restaurant very pleasant and clean, good service although it was very quiet. However, we ordered a couple of fillet steaks, what came out was fatty, gristly and definitely NOT fillet steak. Very upsetting as it would be great to have a decent steakhouse in Gravesend, but alas this is not the case. Should have realised when we saw the price you can’t get a fillet steak with chips for this price. I love fillet and eat steak on a regular basis. Such a shame. Would not recommend.

The restaurant is clean and the quality of the steaks is good, Franco is flexible and kindly substituted chips with a little salad to accompany our Fiorentina. Whilst our son's burger was of good quality and size. We will definitely visit again soon.

Consistently good food and service.

Had a roast beef dinner which was very disappointing. Advertised as traditional Sunday Roast it was far from it. Served with salad and sauteed potatoes and a spoonful of frozen mixed veg. No condiments i.e horseradish or mint sauce only mustard!! Also had to send the barman to the shop for something they obviously didn't have and he returned with it stuffed under his jacket as if we wouldn't notice.

My wife and I went for a meal the night before valentines and we have to say we had a lovely time. My wife had the steak and I had the chicken burger. In truth her rate steak was a tad over done but my chicken was perfect! The restaurant is clean and neat, well priced and the staff were lovely. If you want a super local restaurant where you are welcome and you get sensible portion sizes... I totally recommend. Thanks for a lovely time.

We have been before and never been disappointed, this time i had a beef salad,my husband had the chicken salad, they were really delicious and very fresh, and big. we had wonderful friendly service from Sharon as usual

Our first visit was excellent so we returned with friends. How embarrassing! We ordered fillet steak, what was served was definitely NOT fillet. We will not be returning.

Upon arrival, welcomed by lovely staff member. Explained menu and specials. Whilst deciding was given garlic bread. This was merely the start. The steak was cooked to perfection. The overall dinner was something I expected from a 5 star restaurant yet cost the same as an average diner. Will I visit again? Most definitely. If you get the chance to eat here, do.
