Car in elsewhere for service, so I popped in as close by. The service started as I approached, a rather large dog came to say hello, very quickly a member of staff appeared to make sure I was alright. There were 2 lovely ladies working there today. Both extremely welcoming and friendly. Had a good chat and discovered one of them had recently taken the cafe over. She has a heart of gold and from what I learned today really gives back to the community. I only had a sausage sandwich with small chips (thankfully hadn't ordered the large portion as the small was very generous). The bread was soft and fresh, sausages well cooked and decent and the chips well cooked. Salt, vinegar and sauces readily available. Freshly cooked and quite quickly done. They have a special which can be found on FB, contacting them directly or in person. I discovered these have included stew and dumplings, a Chinese themed meal and curry. They also offer seasonal specials such as a traditional Christmas dinner. Orders can be placed in advance and they have a take away option, which I will definitely use in the future. Considering the BusStop Cafes location it was extremely clean both inside and their outside area. I did see a level 5 cleanliness sticker on the window aswell. During our conversation I discovered they also offer a catering service should you have an event coming up. They are very happy to discuss any dietary needs in advance allowing you to cater for everyone attending your event. The toilet needs a mention, so pop in for a bit and it's sure to put a smile in your face! Ladies lovely. Food decent. Venue quirky and clean. Cost not bad I spent less than £10 including a canned drink. Recommend most definitely. Going back 100%

First time trying food from here and we'll 100% be back again. Food was nice, prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge. Plus the staff we're good with special requests plus helps you can order by phone and have ready to be collected.

Had been recommended this Italian by a local for a family birthday. Greeted warmly by restaurant staff, water on arrival, attentive service. Unfortunately we were next to a table that various suited/booted parents dropped 9 of their free-range charges with a handful of timid 'grown-ups' whilst en route to the Club, I suspect. Food was excellent, the staff was amazing dodging these young teenagers leaving chairs untucked in the staff's wake whilst they slammed toilet doors, daring each other to run in the kitchen and generally getting under people's feet. When they did sit down, volume control was clearly not in their gifts. Thought the restaurant staff did an excellent job at trying to make our meal an enjoyable experience despite the crèche like conditions other diners had developed. Would definitely go back but perhaps on a school night when hopefully these youths are not there. The restaurant was far from a let down but the locals certainly were.

Dropped into Hamble on a day out and looking for some lunch. Didn’t want sandwiches or paninis and came across this gem. I’ve eaten pasties the length and breadth of Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Hampshire and can genuinely say that my pasty today was one of the best. Nice chunks of meat, light and crisp pastry (not hard or burnt), nice gravy, plenty of veg. A good peppery taste. Good hot mugs of tea too. Would definitely return. Pleasant, prompt service, good and clean.

Stopped for a snack and coffee. Staff helpful but food offering limited in the "to go" section. Sandwiches not to my liking so just had a coffee, wife and son had a sandwich which was okay and for such a location reasonably priced. There is a restaurant attached but does not allow dogs. If they did allow dogs instead of the £21 spent would have happily and easily spent over £50. I appreciate that company/council policy's make the no dogs policy but I would suggest that the area outside between the patio doors and barrier have ample space for 4 or 5 tables and would prove your turnover.
