Pirate Pasties in Eastleigh

Bought a pastie and sausage roll from your van in Locksheath on Thursday. Cooked them today and sorry to say the pastie was OK, but sausage roll was in edible. The meat was rock hard. Not worth the cost. Shame as we thoroughly enjoyed them at your shop in Hamble last year. Don't often complain, but though you would appreciate the feedback.

We came here for a pasty as we'd been told by a local how lovely they were. We're up visiting from Cornwall so we're happy to try them out. Really delicious pasties! The best I've ever had so a bit ironic that we're in Hamshire. We'll be having these again for sure. Thank you

Had lunch here on a visit to Hamble. On entry we were met by very friendly lady. Plenty of freshly cooked cornish pasties and sausage rolls My husband had traditional pasty and I had chicken and bacon mayo sandwich. We sat outside and was served by a friendly young man. My husband loved his pasty, but unfortunately the sandwich was not good. Filling was lovely and fresh, but bread was sadly lacking!! I ordered brown, but they didn't have any, so had white bloomer instead. Unfortunately it was too thick and very dry. Such a shame, but will be back to sample their pasties!!

Not right. Meat not minced and in lumps. The pastry was right and veg good but there was something lacking in the taste like no salt & pepper. But strangely a back taste which seemed to be chilli?

Amazing place clean friendly. Except dogs. Went twice both time’s really good. good food and a good price.

THE best pasties..!! If you want to taste a real pastie packed full of delicious chunky meat then Pirate Pasties is the place to go. They also have great coffee. They offer other pastie varieties as well as a rather good cheese and bacon slice.. Gluten free pies also available although at this time not pasties.. The must have treat when visiting Hamble…

I all ways buy my pasty’s from here nearly every month they are the best in the south don’t go anywhere else as you be disappointed and the staff are very friendly please try them as you can see why I rate them the best

Went for a little trip to hamble from Southampton, was going to have Sunday lunch there but we had eaten a late breakfast, when we arrived I noticed the little pastie and pie shop called pirates pasties so I suggested getting a pastie and have dinner later,well we got two one cheese and one traditional and made our way to the bus stop to eat them,,, and what an amazing surprise when I bit into mine the flavours texture and seasoning blow my taste buds away being a chef I believe in flavour and this was perfect the meat was excellent large chunks and tender,my wife had the cheese it was superb creamy with beautiful soft potato which was perfect as she had a bad fall and I've been cooking soft meals for her if you are in hamble its a must try, thanks ladies for your friendly service, great meeting you x

After a recommendation we visited this lovely place, waiting for our order the smell was so nice, then we got our hot gluten free sausage rolls, they were amazing, now I'm not sure what kind of witch craft went into the making of them as apparently they were vegan as well as gluten free, but they tasted very meaty and the pastry was just like normal pastry, not the horrible crumbly stuff you normally need to put up with if your gluten free. These are amazing 😍😍😍😍 so after inhailing those, we also got the two remaining gf pies, chicken, bacon and leek and Veggie curry which were both so tasty. We also got two more frozen gf sausage rolls to back at home. The staff were friendly, you can eat in or be served through the window hatch. We will be back on Sunday, you are my new faviou place, hands down the best gf sausage roll I've ever tasted. I was too excited about my sausage roll to remember to get some cornish pasties but we will be trying those this Sunday too and of course take lots of sausage roll supplies away too. I've done a gf cornish pasty tour of Devon and Cornwall and wished we had a place here, so Thank you so much for being here and for thinking of us gluten free people. I nearly cried Happy tears outside and again when I knew we were coming back again sunday. An easy 10 out of 10

Tasty pasties - range of fillings. We had steak and blue cheese, and vegetable. Quick service. Gluten free options. Clean.

We have been visiting Pirate's ever since it opened and we have always had a great time. We are always made to feel so welcome (it's dog-friendly) and the staff often go out of their way for us. The food is so good, I love the traditional pasty but my girlfriend swears by the steak and stilton one. The sausage rolls are also incredibly tasty. On our latest visit, on New Year's Day, there were six of us, with four dogs, and the staff put a couple of tables together for us out the back, and they're always so friendly. We ordered teas, coffees, pasties, sausage rolls... Everything came out quickly, hot and fresh, so tasty. Sometimes we just get a takeaway from the hatch on the front of the building. Hamble is lucky to have Pirate Pasties, it has become one of our favourite places for a bite to eat, or even just a coffee. Top notch.

We called here yesterday and had a very disappointing experience. We decided to eat in for a quick bite and ordered 2 pasties and 2 teas. The pasties were not warm and we had to ask to reheat them, but when they came they were still not hot. What is more the meat was in clumps and was very unappetising. Re the tea - it was basically hot water and warm milk - we asked if we could have it a bit stronger and were given ONE teabag to dip into our mugs. All in all, for our £14.00, it was very disappointing. The only saving grace was the member of staff was nice..

We had a wander around Hamble and bought two of Kelly’s ice creams from the hatch. Excellent chocolate chip ice cream from what at first glance appeared a pasty facility.

Unbelievable Pasties in this place. I’ve been here twice and they have the best pasties ever. Their sausage rolls are a delight too. Wel priced and you get a lot of food for your money.

Love a pastie and these were certainly amongst the best. Quaint location and atmosphere and very affable and proactive staff .

Hidden at the back of this pastie shop is an excellent cafe with good tea and cake. Charming service, and great tea - Teapigs. The pasties and sausage rolls looked delicious and apparently are from Cornwall.

We stopped here for a bite to eat and had a couple of delicious sausage rolls and two wonderful pasties too. Service was excellent and we were all accommodated in the indoor seating. Would certainly recommend and would visit again if we were to return.

The pasties make a very substantial meal and delicious too. Don't be fooled by the 'sausage roll', this is the best sausage roll you're ever likely to come across.

Walking around Hamble for a winter walk and came across Pirate Pasties. Nice find. Had a couple of hot sausage rolls and drinks. Was lovely. Sausage roll was I have to say exceptional. As the name suggests they do a range of pasties too. Really...

Eleven of us popped in on a quiet cold Sunday afternoon and more or less filled the place. Very tasty pasties and sausage rolls with excellent friendly service. Warmed up now!

Pasties and sausage rolls were excellent but the pork pie was awful. Fatty meat and under cooked pastry. Pasty very well seasoned

Fantastic service from the super friendly staff. I tried the lamb and mint sausage roll, which was absolutely delicious. It was really flavoursome with lovely pastry and the meat was obviously good quality. I’ll definitely come back!

Popped into Hamble late one afternoon and had delicious take away pasty. Almost as good as mother's :-)

Really delicious traditional Cornish pasties. Very filling and tasty. Nice decor. Friendly staff. Will definitely come here again.

Just visit..... Just try the pasties one day, then the sausage rolls, then the sandwiches, then the coffee...... Then start all over again with the different flavours.... See you in a few months..... Really.... Its all that good....

I had a nice surprise today. I lived in Cornwall fo many years and thought pasties there were really good but once past the river Tamar the quality went downhill, except today I had a delicious pastie in Hamble, the nice lady said they came...

Went for lockdown exercise on a long walk. Came across this on Hamble High Street. The pasties were to die for and a great calorie top up as we walked along. Real lovely pastry and great tasting filling. I had the authentic Cornish pasty whilst...
