The best restaurants serving British food in Hamble-le-Rice and Butlocks Heath Eastleigh South East

Alojarnos en un camping cercano visitamos este acogedor pub para algo de comer y beber que no nos decepcionó. Bonita Ales local y un menú razonable para la buena comida. Este creo que es un pub utilizado principalmente por los lugareños, y no se equivocan.

An out of the way place, tucked into the marina. A real treat, really good service, although we only had drinks.

We see recent post advertising the new bottomless roast so we thought we would try it with some friends! Entered to see the newly refurbished river rat what a lovely job also! Friendly warm welcome from all the staff we were then showed through to the new restaurant area… Damien was our waiter really friendly and informative never really waited for anything service on point!! Food was unbelievable lamb was the star just melted in the mouth! Roasties unlimited what’s not to like!! Thank you Laura & Sarah and your fabulous team we will see you again soon!!

Victory in Hamble. Had the roast dinner yesterday absolutely amazing. FOr £16 there was a bit of everything. beef was really tender. Partner had tuna steak. Huge portion. Both gave it a 10/10

Popped in for the first time and had a coffee and a slice of Banna loaf, nice friendly service and atmosphere and more importantly very tasty cake 😋

Visited for a drink and tea after coming off a yacht. Handy location for the marina. This bar is really missing a trick - the location is lovely but the actual bar/outside area is just looking a little tired and unloved. We did have fish and chips and it was nice but I really don't like it when they serve your food on paper on a plate. The paper ends up going soggy and breaking into little bits that then stick to your food. Please get rid of the paper - just use plates. Portions not huge, and wasn't cheap. Would visit again as convenient for the marina.

So disappointed, chair collapsed whilst having dinner. Fell on already broken arm. Was in extreme discomfort. Waitress made bar manager and owner aware . Not once did anyone acknowledge the situation. I didn't want anything for free as accidents happen but the whole lack of customer acknowledge was beyond acceptable.
