Top Indian restaurant in Hamble, very friendly staff and great food as always, always go with the set meal b witch is amazing value for money! Sitting in for food is very comfortable and warm welcoming

Can't say you visited Hamble if you tired Indian food .Both chicken and lamb were spicy but really tasty enjoyed our food.,also waiter was really considerate and we really appreciated our night.

The strangest chicken jalfrezi I’ve ever had. And not in a good way. Whilst the chicken was tender it came in what I can only describe as a flavourless and greasy beef chilli with no spice whatsoever. Odd. Just very odd.

Ordered online as I could not get through on Phone, Had email receipt and could see payment showing on banking app. Staff claimed they had no records of order and we were told to sit in corner and wait for manager who finally showed up after 45 mins. Eventually got our food after 1 hour.

Tandoori mixed grill and tandoori salmon is second to none! Fabulous fresh ingredients. Quality food every time.

Fab food as always! Lovely and warm. Prawns were a bit iffy but can’t complain as everything else was delightful!!!

We were looking forward to a nice evening & nice food. Totally ruined by the constant flow of Just Eat & Uber delivery men walking through the restaurant. While we waited 1 & 1/2hrs for main course after only having had poppadoms, their turnaround was a couple of minutes. With at least 8 - 9 other couples in the same boat. The priority seemed to be with deliveries. The food when we eventually got it was lovely. Overall very disappointed with the service.

I'm still waiting for my food right now. ETA was 8.25pm and it's now 9.25pm. No answer when calling the restaurant. No text message response from restaurant when chasing for update. Just received update saying 9:45pm! Shocking

Picked up a last minute takeaway this evening (Saturday). We usually go to our regulars but decided on a change due to delivery time and honestly the quality is amazing. It was lovely and hot. Clearly the herbs used were very fresh, fresh garlic, chilli’s etc. Everything had plenty of flavour and spice. This is now our new regular. Service within the restaurant was great too, very friendly staff and a lovely clean atmosphere. Very reasonable price too.

The food arrived hot. All the dishes were fresh and tasty. Nothing was greasy. All dishes tasted fresh and more healthy than your usual Indian food. The best onion bhajis ever. The chicken tikka was really tender, tasty and juicy. Excellent.

The quality of food was good but the taste was a bit bland. We had a jalfrezi that was listed as hot and I don’t think it had seen a chilli in the same room! A bit underwhelming to be honest, especially for the price.

Sorry but we have given this place a good few chances ..and it's only getting worse 2 hours till our main course came out .the priorities lay with dilvery in kitchen..they don't care about dinners in restaurant..the alarm went off constantly. If it wasn't for a guest knowing about fire alarms we would of gone ..no discount given for the suffering customers ..will not be back again

Tried Cardamon Lounge for the first time yesterday for a takeaway. We had CTM and chili chicken with rice, bhaji and naan. The food was incredible, lovely flavours all cooked to perfection with lots of chicken in the mains. I cannot praise it enough. Definitely my new go to Indian 😀

Ordered over 2 hours ago and is currently 1.5 hours late. I have tried to call restaurant and they aren’t answering. Very disappointed

my normal go to Indian standard but tonight the chicken balti was one of the best curries I've ever eaten

First time I have used this restaurant in 3 years as I had a bad experience back then. I thought I’d give it another try as I heard there was a new chef. I am glad I did as my takeaway meal was very good! Excellent portion size and tasted lovely. I will definitely be using them again and will also go for a sit down meal with family soon.

Food was okay. Although was very sweet for my taste. I kind of expected more, but sadly wasn't anything special and I feel wasn't worth the money I had paid. That said, it wasn't awful, just my personal taste and preference.

Jalfrezi was just like a plain chicken curry that had come from Chinese

Just placed my first order here and, wow!!! A bit pricier than some others but the quality of the ingredients is worth it. Amazing flavours and the closest I’ve come to a proper Indian curry. Food was hot and delivered on time. Will 100% be ordering again.

Amazing service, second to none. Most dilegent and willing staff I've ever encountered in the UK. The food was great too and they also accommodated my 91 year old grandfather by cooking him his own special dish upon request.

I've used them alot on online delivery and always been tasty and actually update if their is any issue respect staff and management it's a rarity being a chef and worked at hotels to restaurant so when you get late night orders close to closing time...every chef hates it but fairplay guys

I decided to a get a takeaway from the restaurant last night, so glad I did, i only ordered a starter as I am not a big eater, it was amazing, I don't know why more people don't eat at this little gem of a restaurant.

We fancied a curry on a Monday when our local was closed, so we searched for an alternative. The reviews for this place were very good - the only issues people seemed to be about Deliveroo problems, so we figured it was a safe bet. Service was super friendly and the food was genuinely delicious. The three curries that we ordered (CTM, Dhansak and Passanda) were distinctive, memorable and well executed. The special fried rice and peshwari naan were seriously good! A fantastic meal. I think we have a new local!

I rate this a one of the best Indians I have ever had, the staff were very friendly and was very reasonably priced. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough

Third visit to eat in. Really nice service staff, excellent food. The atmosphere is a little lacking (never been in when there have been other diners - always been early/mid week. Clearly does a huge take away/delivery business. I can’t over emphasize how good the food is - really great flavours.

Quite a large group of us came on Easter Saturday evening and had a really lovely meal together. Hira was very attentive to the needs of the group and everyone throughly enjoyed their very tasty meals. Great food as always but tonight the delivery was updated as running late, understand they are busy due to Easter, but 30 mins after eta was not good. Shame as the food was great. Delivery driver gobbed off as I complained it took him ten minutes to do a 2 min drive.

Normally the order we receive has every item. This evening the 2 x butter nan breads were not included with our order although paid for. We love their food but this is the second time this has happened. We didn’t complain on our previous order as we felt that mistakes can happen. But I’m afraid twice is not good enough. Kim Roberts.

Lovely place to eat in or get takeaway from. Friendly trained staff and the traditional menù is so good I tend to try different meals each time and it's always top quality stuff thank you for making the place so wonderful and being in the centre of hamble lane it is close proximity and plenty of parking spaces to accomodate for everyone.

Had an excellent meal this evening, visited with the family for my birthday meal. Had some beautiful curries and excellent food all round. The manager/server suggested some more authentic dishes based on what we ordered for us to try and guaranteed if they weren’t better than our previous choices he’d replace them at no cost. These suggested dishes were exceptionally delicious! Outstanding service and great food! Thanks again

We have tried to order first from Chon Chala but suddenly order didn't went through after that we placed the order for delivery from Cardamom lounge The food is fantastic and Delicious and their service is too fast which i like the most. I recommend everyone to place an order from there to have great indian taste.

Waste of time, ordered on Deliveroo, waited two hours and nothing arrived, called restaurant and asked to cancel order, told food had just left, had been told the same on three previous calls. Lied to on multiple occasions by the manager who was apparently hand delivering food via a taxi. Total lack of professionalism, organisation and honesty.

Absolutely shocking place! Ordered through deliveroo..after 2 hours of waiting and continuously being lied to, told them to cancel the order. The complete lack of customer service or even just basic manners made the experience even worse. Family of 5 with young children left hungry at 9.30pm, due to their utter incompetence

Nice food but could have been hotter. Lamb in the bhuna was a bit chewy. But overall good.

Nice Indian restaurant with a decent menu. Food was good . We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time.

Sent chicken instead of lamb, the tikka masala tasted gone off and looked like the sauce was congealed, inedible.

Unfortunately I placed order at one of the busiest times and day. The wait was worth it (approx.90mns in total !). Every dish was very enjoyable. Good portions and nicely cooked and presented. Maybe the Jalfrezi was hotter than others I have eaten. Additional £2.55 was charged. However a couple of free poppadoms were given. Very pleasant delivery man.

Even though I had a delivery I put 5 stars for atmosphere too as I was so impressed! Had my first meal from them last week, food was delicious! The food is just amazing and delicious 😋above all the is the customer service . They are so lovely and welcoming , very patient and always greeting you with a smile 😊 Even being so busy they always attended to us . I will recommend this place to everyone because we felt like home and the Ambience is just perfect . They allowed us to chose which table we wanted and also gave us complimentary drinks 🍹 Thanks so much Whoever the manager is , just letting you know you have a hardworking and amazing team .
