The best restaurants in Eastbourne South East

A cracking little place! Ridiculously good prices, friendly staff, good entertainment. A very decent, and charming, old school type of pub!

Our local 'buckies' and so pleased that it is a good one (Ashford Outlet buckies take note). Always well staffed, who are friendly. Drinks up to standard. Seating well arranged. We (my wife and I) still reflect when is was inside the old Arndale. Those were the days. Knew all the team then with only Deano left, bless him. Never the less the site is obviously well managed and deserves praise. Well done!

Food just chucked on a tray all over it

My wife and I were in Eastbourne shopping and decided to have a drink and Sandwich while in this store. Sorry to say customer service was appealing. No one to guide you Picked up Ham sandwich Just that a piece of ham Margarine and two slices of white bread Bland tasteless and what can I say " yuk" Went to a machine which I selected Chocolate and a Lattee Sorry chocolate was like drinking warm yes warm milk Lattee was just warm milk and water Sorry I cannot recommend this place for a bite to eat and drink

Wish I had read reviews first before eating here! We had a nice walk round the harbour and thought it would be nice to have some fish and chips. Wish we hadn’t bothered, chips and fish not good so will stick to the other restaurants in Sovereign Harbour in future. Picture of the fish and chips looks better than the taste!

I paid for my meal on arrival at 9pm £19 which you have to pay before you get to get up and serve yourself. I was told prior to that you can order a takeaway box on too good to go... but to be honest after seeing what they had to offer half empty trays and everything else was dried out. should have actually been binned and I should have asked for a refund like the other 2 people did while I was there. Not too sure how long the food had been there and the temperature of the food wasn't hot. The lady server did stir stuff around a bit to cover up the dried layers on the sauces. I had one small plates worth and just left.. definitely wouldn't recommend eating there at this time of night. You get a much better deal for your money during the day time for nearly half the price

Situated overlooking the boats in the Harbour. Nice friendly waiter.Food was delicious and nicely served. Shame about the noise from the kitchen Plates banging and crashing!

This restaurant has awful customer service and letting their own children disrespect customers. The staff were rude and over charged. They commented on a customers weight. The food was stale and had molde I do not recommend this restaurant.

Having visited once before and enjoyed the food, we thought we'd come again. However this was a real let down. We waited almost an hour for food, and once it arrived my order was incorrect. I did try and mention it to the server, but she had gone before I could do so - and to be honest I wouldn't have wanted to wait another hour for them to replace the meal, so I just stuck with it. The food was nice enough but the chips were lukewarm. We had to ask three times for a knife and were bizarrely given a pizza cutter that was still in the packaging. We also had to ask three times for a takeaway box at the end. It's a real shame to be leaving this review as I don't like leaving negative reviews, but there is clearly a significant management issue here. Unless this is resolved I am unlikely to revisit.

Traté de encontrar una mesa en un pub cercano pero estaba lleno. Este lugar tenía todas las mesas vacías. . . Eso debería haber sido una advertencia. Pescado y patatas fritas anunciados en el exterior @ 6. 90 (con una bebida). . . aunque había una pequeña letra pequeña, así que no nos molestamos en preguntar cuándo nos cobraron 8. 95 sin bebida. La comida era pasable. En definitiva muy poco valor.

We only had chips so can not comment on any else but they wee soggy and the oil definitely needs changing as the chips were covered in black bits! Won't be going back!

Was excited to try this place, what a disappointment! Walked throught the doors to be greeted with utter silence! No ambience whatsoever! The girl behind the bar firstly told us that they only had diet coke to drink! Nothing else! Sat down and ordered our food, there was one other table of three in the place, we waited at least 25 minutes for our order, the "messy bird" fries were ok, beef burger looked dry and "tired" I ordered the "seoul" fried chicken burger, after two bites I realised it was not cooked in the middle! Inexcusable! I had eaten in this place when it was the bokshop and always enjoyed it! I don't see this place surviving unless they buck their ideas up! On the plus side they gave me my money back with no quibble
