The best restaurants in Crawley South East

Just brilliant. Food was as good as one can get, menu was full, and staff beyond brilliant. We grazed and had an unconventional order and everything was just perfect. Anyone living near here should visit!!!

The pricing of the steaks is an exercise in uncertainty! They price is at per 100 gms but with a minimum order of 300 gms so immediately you need to treble the price shown . Then you are asked to look at your aged steak before they cook it and they give you a choice of450 gms and 550 gms before they cook it ( instead of the 300gms I asked for ) which is not a very subtle way of trying to upsell you ! I felt the whole experience was about to how to get more money out of you . Oh and the T bone was red ( asked for medium )and it needed to go back

Restaurant empty at 1800. Burger arrived cut into it rare, not good for a burger, 2x noodle chicken and prawns, prawns uncooked not good for prawns, 2 other meals. Noticed food was undercooked immediately challenged staff, they offered to remedy, presumably by reheating, rejected offer, paid for wine, soft drink, prawn crackers and left.

First of all table of 10 booked then failed to contact us for the deposit so they cancelled the booking. First one to arrive said they were struggling to find the booking . Just after your money. Told us we had table for 2 hours then told us during starter that we had to be out in 45 minutes! Never have I had food come out so quick and already taking plates when others were still eating! Not sure food is cooked from fresh as the main was ready before we had even finished starters. Manager was totally unprofessional and argued with my friend that ordered the table in front of everyone then even had the audacity to bring the bill with service charge where they should have deducted money as one of our party was given uncooked chicken. Never will go to this restaurant again!

We went for early dinner on a Saturday night, spur of the moment. It's a very big restaurant so it didn't feel particularly warm on arrival, we needed to keep our coats on for a little while. However the interior of the restaurant is pleasantly designed, but the lighting lets its down, in that it is far too bright for the evening ambience. The food was very nice though, couldn't fault it at all. To start we had vegetable samosas and hummus with Turkish bread, absolutely divine! For mains my partner had the mixed shish which he enjoyed and I had the Dem Shish creamy chicken which was out of this world, really delicious. We ended our meal with the baklava and Irish coffee. We would definitely go back for the food alone, but the ambience spoils a romantic night out.

Best chips I've ever had from a fish and chip shop. Wonderful. Will go there regularly from now. Friendly staff reasonable prices. 5 *****

Racist Kismet? Utter psycho babble ,I’m white and I have been going to Kismet for over 20years and have always been greeted with a smile Welcomed and always left satisfied with the service and food .From what I remember their have always dealt with drunks and small minded idiots very well.

Best food in Crawley, yes they get busy and yes they can only cater for so many but what do you expect? It’s the best food around there will be demand

Parce que la chaleur règne, avons déjeuné en extérieur. Agréable espace. Entré + Plat + dessert , dans les choix proposés du jour : Parfaits. Conception inhabituelle avec un brin de fantaisie et toute simplicité. Service prompt, efficace et d'une aimabilité.

I think the guy who wrote the previous review must have been suffering from lack of taste buds, bad eyesight and an ASBO !! JIMMIES is the best value for money and friendliest cafe in town. Keep up the good wi Rd k guys!! And just for the record I've got a degree in catering!! Just in case that previous bloke is thinking I'm not qualified to undermine him!!

Traditional cafe in every sense, expansive menu and value for money based on huge portion sizes A dying tradition, keep up the good work

Went last night with my girlfriend for the first time,lovely place to spend the night,very friendly staff especially the manager Zoltan.

Absolutely fantastic authentic food great value for money and tastes supreme would definitely recommend great service and fresh food served with a smile cant wait for next one

Very friendly staff as they are from Brazil and Portugal but live in the UK for over 20 years. Seems many Portuguese speaking customers as well as English are here for breakfast and lunch. I came a few times as I tried English Breakfast and their daily changing Meal of the Day! Good Breakfast with hot plate (a plus); and the two different “meal of the day” I had is Combined Stewed Chicken Drums and Ribs in Black Bean Sauce and another one is Fried Chicken Breast with Bean Sauce. The first one mentioned was the best. Chicken Breast was okay. Their coffee is hit and tasty too!
