Furnace Green Cafe in Crawley

I think the guy who wrote the previous review must have been suffering from lack of taste buds, bad eyesight and an ASBO !! JIMMIES is the best value for money and friendliest cafe in town. Keep up the good wi Rd k guys!! And just for the record I've got a degree in catering!! Just in case that previous bloke is thinking I'm not qualified to undermine him!!

Horrible customer service and bad food under cooked food and only have one menu available definitely wouldn’t recommend going to this place

Absolutely superb! Been here a couple of times in the last month. The place is spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly and the service is excellent. Oh, and the food is great and very good value. Best all-day cooked breakfast I've ever had.

The loveliest staff around! And the food is spot on EVERY SINGLE TIME! I love my weekly visit here to see Jimmy and the team. Great coffee, so clean and tidy, positive vibes and a true community staple. WE LOVE YOU!!!

My Dad is a regular here and loves it. Cafe is well presented and food is very tasty. Great bacon, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms. I would have given it 5 stars but the coffee wasn't fabulous and the sausages were just OK.

Visited many times and never been disappointed. My only minor grumble is that the plates could be warmed a bit more before serving

I live only mins from this Cafe and never visited until the other day. I must admit I overlooked it as thought it maybe a greasy spoon. How wrong was I. Walked in and thankfully manage to get our table for 4. The first thing I notice is how immaculate the place is and the kitchen area is spotless, shiny and bright. We order 4 breakfasts albeit different ones and we absolutely loved it. Cooked to order, piping hot and tasty. Eggs done well. Staff very friendly and for 4 people it was only £32....how good is that as it included our drinks too. We are going to return as just read another reviewers post and they mentioned Sunday roast....so that's a must. We'll done to you and your team. Hidden gem.

Good breakfast!! Quick and hot!! Staff are really friendly. Never had any problems. family also own northgate fish and chip bar that is also great!!!

Well lets get this right, it is only a cafe. Yes only a cafe but my lord what a cafe. The first thing you notice is just how busy it is.....for me thats a great start. The next thing to notice in "this Cafe" was just how clean the place is, it really is spotless. I went there last Sunday (8-8-21) as the family wanted to try the Sunday Roast, Yes a Sunday Roast in a cafe.... 2x Chicken Roasts, 1x Lamb Roast and I had a grasy spoon fry up. The plate were large and more than enough food to feed an army. My fry up was wonderful....The mushrooms and Fried Bread are normally greasy or oilly....NOT HERE...they were cooked to perfection. MAYBE I AM A CAFE SNOB, BUT MAN I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT ENOUGH....My one recommendation is BOOK to avoid disappointment as there was a constant stream of customers....and I can understand why GREAT FOOD at a SERIOUSLY "EASY ON THE POCKET" price......

Been here a few times for breakfast. Great food and service, but be aware they don't accept and credit or debit cards. There is an ATM on the shopping parade though.

Walked into a nice cafe, sat down with our baby’s stroller and we were asked to move because we were blocking a single seat in an almost empty cafe ! Rude! The lady taking our order misheard us a few times, got out order, never asked if I wanted my cheese sandwich heated up but at least my plate was warm! The coffee my partner had , formed some sort of disgusting brownish gunk and when we asked the lady said it’s because if you let the milk sit and not stir it this thing will be formed! NEVER have we ever had something like that in any other coffee shop and have never heard a stupid excuse like that! Then it was time to pay...cash only!! Seriously?? Thankfully there was an ATM nearby! Then went to pay and the man couldn’t be any more rude, handing me the money like he was about to swear! We seriously couldn’t have rushed out of the cafe quicker!! At least my partner’s breakfast was nice! I’m sorry! We went there because we saw the good reviews but left disappointed and angered so will never be going back!

I would disagree with previous comments about it being "old skool" because they don't serve bangers. However the food is good. The staff are friendly. I would pick this place over most cafes in crawley

I've eaten breakfast here many times, without ever having a complaint. The food is always cooked fresh, and served piping hot, and good sized portions too. The staff here are great, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Like a proper London cafe, but in Crawley!! Full marks.

I’ve been to this cafe quite a few times over the last few years and I have to say it never lets me down!. The cafe itself is always so clean and tidy, and the staff are polite and friendly. The food is very good...the breakfasts are such good sizes & fill you up nicely. Would definitely recommend :)

Fantastic Cafe, clean, modern and family friendly, I’ve been here with my 3 kids probably about 9 times now, portions are huge, food is hot, the kids eat everything without moaning, prices are reasonable. Other clientele are friendly and respectful of the kids, staff are fantastic, food is quick and served with a friendly smile. Probably the best cafe in Crawley, just don’t tell everyone otherwise it’ll be too busy next time I visit.

Very friendly happy staff and the food is very good quality, service is great and price is very good. 100% recommend this cafe and i will defonantly be returning

Been here several times now. It’s fantastic. Extremely welcoming staff, amazing breakfast all cooked fresh while you wait. Brilliant value. Highly recommend!
