The best restaurants in St. Peter's and North Laine Brighton and Hove South East

What a delight. Popped in for coffee this morning on a warm sunny day. Tables placed for sun or shade which was handy for my dog to sit out of the sun. Lovely friendly staff. Delicious coffee and one of the best croissants I have had for a long time. The croissant was slightly warmed which made it even better. A lovely small carafe of chilled water was also placed on the table. Just what I needed on a warm day. Well done! Everything was just perfect. Very rare I say that in Brighton!

Really nice coffee, not the "best flat white" I've ever had. Service was terrible, no welcome and no goodbye, I expect more from a speciality coffee shop where they're meant to be passionate about the drink. Won't be going here again.

Why have I just been listening to the bell ring for over 20 minutes??????????????? Why? Please tell me the reason in which I had to listen to over 100 rings?????

The family had been to Dogtember at Saltdean Lido which was brilliant! We were all very hungry, including Olive the lab, and came upon this most wonderful cafe just down the road. I had the Elate crab special and was so impressed. Truly delicious and a very generous potion. All the family rated their choice of food. Slight error with my asking for a glass of wine, well it was now gone noon....... was speedily corrected with profuse apologies. Thank you so so much as made our whole day even better, we will be back! x

Very good quality food, good portions, staff attentive. Nice atmosphere. A bit expensive but I would definitely go there again.

The food was amazing and was cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The decor was calming and welcoming . It was a great evening.

This was our fourth visit for lunch here. Our first visit was a great success and the food excellent however things have gone downhill. On our latest visit the not so attentive staff (but still very pleasant) informed us that the “group’s” executive chef worked there for the first month and now just pops in. This probably explains why the food is not good at all now. Such a shame as it started so well. Great for a drink at a pleasant spot but food not to be recommended at all.

The food is lush, the staff are always friendly! My partner and I love their Banh Mi's, while I tend to enjoy the meat options, the vegan options are excellent, too. If you haven't tried this place, it's well worth a visit.

Got a 'into the blue' voucher, so decided to travel to brighton for a cream tea. All we got for our £69.99 voucher was a pot of tea, a capful of milk, 2 small amounts of an open prosessco & 2 scones that had been microwaved, because they were stale!! Really, into the blue should investigate where their name is being used! Total rip off
