The best coffee and toasties Brighton. And don’t get me started on the Victoria Sponge! ❤️ Owen and Tracy are the loveliest people - so friendly and full of hints and tips about the City. My new favourite place.

Had an incredible bacon roll, vegetarian sausage roll and 2 chai lattes - best we’ve had yet! Couldn’t decide which eatery on the road to choose, glad we picked this one! Would recommend to anyone!

Popped in here for lunch with a couple of colleagues. They had a falafel wrap that looked delicious. I had a BBQ chicken toasty - which was perfect. Worth pointing out that the portion sizes are really ample, as I think some of the other reviews below point out. If you're wondering if a toasty can be filling enough for a main meal, these definitely can. Fillings are delicious and very much gourmet style - as is the bread. Proper sourdough stuff and clearly buttered before it's toasted too. The coffees are delicious too, and have a real caffeine kick.

Amazing toasties and hot drinks! Both of us had ham, cheese and onion toasties on brown bread and oh my gosh were they good! Packed with cheese and ham. I had a hot chocolate and my boyfriend had a latte. Both agreed they were too notch and very well made. Couldn’t finish all my toastie as it was such a great portion size and asked for it to be wrapped up. The server then returned with it in a bag that he wrote ‘thank you and have a happy Monday’. Such a sweet touch, melted my heart! Popped back in the following day for a second drink and he remembered us and was just as polite and genuine the second time. Can not recommend enough! Also great seating area outside and very close to the train station.

I went to toasted, the food was incredible...but the service was something else! The staff were incredible, I think I was speaking to a staff member called Charlie, the coffee he made me was exactly how I liked it, and perfect for my dietary requirements. I had been having a pretty rough day, and the service and coffee was phenomenal, totally made my day. Will 100% be returning!

Had the “nearly full English” toastie with a cup of tea, it was honestly the best toastie I’ve had in a long time. Great location

Had a ( nearly full English ) toastie . Wholemeal chewy bread. Was absolutely fantastic and a very generous size! And a cup of tea, lovely .... just what I needed after my long train journey

I ordered food through UberEats; the Holy Cow sandwich (no peppers) and a chai latte. My food arrived quickly and I gleefully opened the paper bag. Within I saw a coffee cup and two smaller bags. I pulled out the larger of the two, my sandwich, and saw a note written on the front: “holy cow! *I’m so sorry, it contains peppers, my mistake ):” I didn’t want peppers, but I’d prefer to just pick them off than see a sandwich go to waste, and hey, we all make mistakes. Inconvenient but I appreciated the heads up and was really just happy to have a sandwich. I then pulled out my latte, delicious by the way. Then the smaller bag, unsure of what it was, then I noticed another handwritten note: “my apology for the peppers (:” Maybe it’s just the effects of lockdown 3 and isolation, but I giggled a little. Inside the bag was a very yummy caramel slice. This was a wholesome little touch, so many restaurants would’ve just ignored the mistake and hoped I wouldn’t complain. I know it sounds silly, but with the stress of the pandemic something like peppers on a sandwich could be the thing that ruins someone’s day.. I found the little note alone made up for the mistake and the slice was the extra mile, it really brightened my afternoon. I’ve gotten food from here a couple of times and this was the first time I ever had an issue, yet it was resolved before it even became one. The food is delicious, the chai lattes are delicious, and now I know that the caramel slices are delicious. I really like Toasted by GB Charcuterie and I can’t wait to eat there again. (Without peppers next time 😉)

Small and cosy, this is a great cafe with a real feel of a local place, catering to the community. They offer simple, fresh food with good-sized portions. My full breakfast was plentiful. They are dog friendly, too. Dexter received a plate of biscuits and a bowl of fresh water just for him . A truly local cafe, where everybody is welcome.

Genuinely shocked by how delicious the food was. I walk past this place all the time and always notice how busy it is. I finally tried it the other day and it exceeded all expectations - it was so good and I’d 100% go again! Nice options for vegans!!
