What a little gem. Had a fabulous pot of tea that was plenty more than 1 cup....refreshing change. Had a super avocado toastie too which was on beautiful local bread. Resisted the gaming tables, but if that is what you after you can get lost in that also. Will definitely have this on my too visit again list. 😊

Give this cafe a go and you won’t be disappointed. Small but good quality menu with fabulous bread and a happy vibe! Video games optional :)

Had a great chicken and pesto sandwich here - good price for the lanes and friendly staff. Dog friendly and amazing amount of vintage games to play.

Visited this gaming cafe with my brothers and we were entertained by Pokemon games whilst we had some great coffee and indulgent cake ! The staff were very accommodating and although it's a small space it has created a lovely atmosphere. If you're in the north laines definitely pop in !!

this place is a new cafe and the staff are very friendly - they guy who i beleive who runs it particularly. Its a new cafe on the lanes so has entered a tough market and i thin it adds to the lanes quirkiness and individual cafes. you can play old arcade games or play a range of old console games such as the NES and playstation 1. Its nicely decorated and has lovely smoothies - ultimately a good placer to chill with wifi and sockets so you can do work.

I went with my sister today, we needed a place to work and this cafe had got a very cool theme and very cosy but the music was a bit to loud and my sisters croissant was very very dry and stale. I think it had been out for 2 days because she could barely even cut it with the knife haha. Waste of money but the coffee was good.

I am so fed up with the chains and 'high-end' places for coffee and some food - particularly when their meagre vegan offerings are expensive and disappointing. So I was delighted to find The Tea Leaf today! I was freezing cold and starving and looked at the menu in the window - plenty of vegan options.. Yay! Nice and quirky inside - cushions, cosy and welcoming.. Couldn't decide between the stuffed peppers, minestrone soup, baked potato or a toasted sandwich. Eventually went for the latter-- lovely garlicky hummus, avocado at its best and veg... all served in toasted sourdough. And a lovely cup of tea with oat milk. Nosey me found that this place has only been taken over 2 months ago and, honestly, their vegan options were the best along the road (I looked at every cafe). If you want a warm welcome, quirky and a change from the same-old, same-old - theTea Leaf is for you.

An Italian restaurant that doesn't use fresh dough for their pizzas? No thanks.

Cracking fish and chip shop, solid food and lovely staff. Been here a few times and I'll be going out of my way to do so again. Fat, juicy chips, big range of fish options, old school gherkins and all the trimmings.
