The best restaurants in Rottingdean Coastal Brighton and Hove South East

I am a regular visitor of this little gem. I love everything they sell! Their cakes are gorgeous, they offer a delicious selection of healthy colourful salads, the coffee is decent and their toastiest are to die for! So happy to have this so close to me. Staff are always very friendly too.

Stunning spot with wonderful teas, coffees and homemade cakes. The vegan brownie was divine. Friendly, efficient service. A really unique spot under the cliffs a short level walk or easy cycle from Brighton.

I've visited this cafe numerous times for the ice-cream, while on my way to the beach, or the outdoor Terraces Theatre. It is the best around, always delicious and a generous scoop.

We love this place, the food is exceptional but everyone who works there really make it so special. We’ve brought our daughter Nellie since she was a tiny baby and she loves it - super family friendly, without compromising on great food :)

This wonderful little bistro is to be found up a side street in Rottingdean. My wife and I dropped in for lunch. Coincidentally we both chose the same dishes, the crayfish and avocado to start with the crépè rustic for the main, both were excellent.

I've been here a few times and had a nice enough time, but last Thursday I had a disappointing visit. I wanted a lunch which wasn't bread based so asked for the soup - they had ran out. I looked back at the menu and decided I'd try one of the salads - not available. The other salad? Also not available. I think they can do better than this. Ended up with hummus and tomatoes on toast which was extremely average, after a 30 min wait. I also ordered a chocolate chai which tasted of pure sugar and nothing else. Disappointing visit.

Nice food, not too expensive. Recommended the chicken wrap. Really good flavour and packed full. Friendly staff. I ordered online and it was ready when I arrived 15 mins later, quick service.

Good ambience and beach views. Our £17 glass of champagne was served in a plastic glass! Nachos were tasty and fresh.

Great food served hot and on hot plates, the bar and waiting staff are simply amazing and a credit to the proprietors, highly recommend the Sunday Roast….first class
