The best restaurants in Grove Basingstoke and Deane South East

Today I tried the opened steamed bun braised shitake mushroom and beancurd, which was amazing! I've never had vietnamese food from anyone else so I can't compare it but its delicious and I highly recommend trying it.

This was only my second visit to The Parlour Tearoom and it was so lovely. A big thank you goes to Brooke and Anita, they were both extremely kind and helpful to both my friend and I, nothing was too much trouble for them - Thank you to you both. The food was fresh, the Egg Mayo sandwiches were the perfect blend and the Scone I had was delicious, as was the coffee, we will definitely be back again!

Looking for a nice chicken restaurant well nandos is just for you eith jaw dropping chicken and refreshing desserts without a doubt this is one of the finest restaurants in the UK. It has a variety if chicken from the gourmet styled to the butterfly styled also the service is spot on you get ur food in a munch I can tell ur craving for some so go to this restaurant to quench your thirst and satisfy your appetite. Raj used to be my favourite Indian restaurant and I used to eat there about once a week. The manager Zac is absolutely amazing and will do anything for his customers and does a great job. He is smart (shirt and tie) and always professional. However, after my last visit I will not be returning again. The owner of the restaurant seems to care very little about the reputation of his own business and is always there but wearing tatty jeans and clothes and I feel this does not give a good business image - why can't he make more of an effort like his manager Zac? Also on my last visit there were a couple of teenagers just hanging out in there (I think they are related to the owner). Would have no objection to this if they were not helping out by setting and clearing tables (no problem with this) but wearing jeans or joggers and hoodies and to complete the look beanie hats. Just looked a little unprofessional to me. Then to make things worse one of the young lads had a handful of cutlery as he was laying a table - openly coughed into his hands, while holding the cutlery - then proceeded to put the contaminated cutlery on the table, prior to customers being seated at the table. Like I said the Raj was my favourite but has really gone downhill the owner really needs to make the effort, raise the profile, create a better image. The food is great - but come on guys you can do much better and follow the professional image set by Zac the manager. Maybe buy some branded t-shirts or polo shirts with the name Raj on! Train the young people in basic hygiene and customer service if they are going to be in your restaurant. Sorry, but for the time being at least you have lost a loyal customer.

Fancy a trip back to the 70s? You do? then you're in luck, just go ahead and book this poor excuse for a hotel. Freezing room, even more freezing bathroom, a TV that doesn't work and 17.95 for fish and chips, I mean what more do you want 🤔 I didn't try the food in the evening to be fair (not at that price) but I did pay for breakfast. Cold beans, cold fried eggs , it was absolutely disgusting. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere, if there was a zero stars option its what I would give, unfortunately I have to give at least one star, which is one star more than this hotel deserves.

One of the busiest cafe I have visited, three staff worked their socks off to ensure the long queues were served quickly and efficiently. Well done

As usual the food was cold and the order was wrong. When we normally order from this McDonald's we get our order wrong and the food was cold. We have just order our food and some of the stuff was wrong/missing.

Went to watch the FA cup final. Bar staff done a sweepstake. We pulled out 30>40 min united scoring. They refused to payout. Would not go. Beer was flat and not great.
