Very busy, good food. Lacking service.

I come here often and the food is always spot on, recommend! Matt is also the best person.

The staff was so nice to me and cooked me a great meal. Ben was my staff of the day.

Very enjoyable atmosphere with very helpful, friendly staff, not to mention how nice the food is. The decor creates a warm and inviting space that makes you want to linger longer. Each dish is crafted with care, showcasing fresh ingredients and bold flavors. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcome and satisfied. Overall, it's a delightful experience that keeps you coming back for more. More importantly, they are very welcoming and knowledgeable with allergies.

Having struggled to find somewhere to eat while passing through Basingstoke, we enjoyed a very nice meal but very disappointed today to get a parking ticket for parking directly outside the restaurant. As it was dark I didn't see any signs and staff never mentioned that there was a time limit of just 30mins. Having looked at many reviews it seems that this hass been going on for several years and Nandos don't appear to done anything to warn their customers of this situation.

Decent food but where's the rest! Empty, 90% bread.

Manager incredible rude shouting through the restaurant that we couldn’t sit at a particular table. If she wasn’t too busy talking on her phone she might have been able seat us a table of her choosing. Strange thing is no one was even sat at the table

You can't go wrong with a nandos. Great quick food and easy service. We were told it would be a half hour wait for a table, took my number and had messaged me 10 minutes later. Highly recommended

Another expensive and pretentious, overpriced, overhyped coffee place, I only went here to meet someone, didn't buy anything, I never would do. The person I met had a coffee that he described as lukewarm, bitter and nasty.

First visit to Nando’s and I was very pleasantly surprised. Everyone was switched on and the smooth service was as a result of eager proactivity. A great team, who worked well together. We received a lovely welcome by the seating gentleman. It was busy and we were told 35 minutes. Ten minutes later we were seated at a booth and felt very special. Tino took my order at the till, and was extremely kind and patient with my complicated order. He never rushed me, and made me feel not so silly. He then found our table and returned my bank card to me that I had left on the counter. Exceptional service, and Tino is a great asset to your Company. Many thanks to all. Looking forward to our next visit.

Prefer this nandos to the one in town, generally less busy and the food is nicer.

All is good, but glasses and plates could be cleaner. I picked 3 plates and 2 glasses with big stains on them.

Food: over cooked and burnt and dry not marinated. Service: it wasn't busy about 19:30 on a Sunday me and my husband ordered waited about 10 minutes for food ( good ) only be eating 5 /10 minutes then a member staff stared taking sauces of the people and then started sweeping around everyone and putting chairs on tables then the staff all came together including kitchen staff standing infront of serving station, making it feel very uncomfortable eating and the urgency to leave. So we left and others by 20:00, leaving half of my meal. If it was closing it would of been nice to be informed, as it's states 10pm close. One good thing, the server he was lovely. Being a lover of Nandos this worst one I have been too.

Everyone at Nando's at St Michael's Retail Park was exceptionally welcoming, but one staff member truly shone. Summer demonstrated remarkable patience and attentiveness, especially accommodating the unique needs of our boy with grace and empathy. She is a tremendous asset to your team. A heartfelt thank you to Summer for making our visit so delightful! 🙏

Just ordered a burger a half chicken and a wrap.. no wrap in the order ...seems like they are getting as incompetent as macdonalds ..its not even a big order 3 items and they can't even get it right. .disgrace!!!

Food was tasty as always but we ordered a collection for half 6 and I arrived at 5.20 it was ready which is great but it was already cold and we only live 2 minutes away which was disappointing.. the staff was lovely but no one was around to greet or see me for about 5 mins

I'm over the moon the Mediterranean Salad is back on the menu. Had it with chicken in the new Fanta marinade and it was delicious. Also being Coeliac I find Nandos a good option as they have never made me ill:)

Looking for a nice chicken restaurant well nandos is just for you eith jaw dropping chicken and refreshing desserts without a doubt this is one of the finest restaurants in the UK. It has a variety if chicken from the gourmet styled to the butterfly styled also the service is spot on you get ur food in a munch I can tell ur craving for some so go to this restaurant to quench your thirst and satisfy your appetite. Same old nando's. This place ran out of lots of menu items though, including any of the quarter, half and whole chicken options.

Even though it was a bit busy, got a table quickly without any wait. Food at Nando's is mostly good. One of the best vegetarian burgers

I love Nando's... a fairly simple concept done extremely well. The food is always good and those custard tartlets... oh my! Not quite five stars though as we stood at the counter for quite some time before anyone spoke to us. Quite a few employees came to the second till did something and walked off again without acknowledging my presence.

Was great but the app wouldn’t allow me to buy half a chicken but would allow me to buy a whole. Ended up buying a whole chicken and shared but felt odd they where running low I assume 🤷🏻‍♂️

First time at this Nandos. Was ok. Not the cleanest. Frustrating ordering online as everyone we tried to check out something on the order became unavailable. Happened 3 times. Not sure I'd go back.

I got a £100 ticket for parking outside. Really not very clear that this area is for collection only. Negligent manager doesn't make any effort to make this clear with signage nor making use of his staff to warn you. A scummy money trap from the car park.

We asked for a nice table because there was 3 of us one with a bad back so we wanted bench seats but couldn't sit there because the waitress said the manager now needs it to type on her laptop. I'm sorry but couldn't she sit anywhere else. Or is the customer less valuable. Pure arrogance however the food was alright.

Food was okay but really not worth going out of your way for. Cannot get over how expensive it is now. Why you'd bother I have no idea. Not sure what the point of half the staff is either when you just order yourself from a QR code at the table and they then expect a tip. Place is full of ratbags too.

Haven't been here for ages. It was great to be back. Familiar, yet a little new. Still can't get the ketchup out of the glass bottles! Staff, as ever, friendly, smiley, and efficient. Food tasty and hot. Wine yummy. What's not to like? UPDATE: August 2024. Still a cracking way to lunch on a Saturday. Disappointed that they are serving only South African wines, rather than Portuguese, although the Sauvignon/merlot blend was lovely. Otherwise, a cheeky Nandos is still spot on.

Part of the order did not arrive, customer service advised they can't re-deliver so will process the refund. The other half of the order messed up, ordered plain chicken wrap and burger, wrap came dripping with spicy sauce, chips like rubber. Customer service again advised they can't re-deliver only process the refund. Burger was good thoug. On a bonus side they gave us garlic bread we did not order. In general the food was tasty but the order was a huge screw up. Definitely don't recommend

I don’t know what it is with Nandos Basingstoke Branches , but honestly, the regional managers need to sort them out. I been going to this branch for some time & stopped going as i always seemed to have problems when I visited & i really wish i had stuck to my words of ‘i won’t be going back’ the last time i went because today was really shocking: The bread that comes with hummus is ALWAYS cold- I went up to where the kitchen staff put the food & asked a girl that serves the food if i could get bread hot.. she then saw another humus with bread on the hot plate waiting for another customers order & asked me “is this hot enough “ she made me touch it to see if the bread was hot , i said no because it weren’t , after this I am very, very sure, I saw her put the plate with the hummus, back on the hot plate (the one i touched) for it to go to another customer!! I wish this was all, but there’s more! When I got back to my table, my food was there, at this point I didn't get to eat my hummous because they were rectifying the problem (when it did arrive, I was eating my main meal, so then it got cold anyway 😩- this wouldn't of happened if the bread was hot in the first place). Another staff member comes to seat another table next to me.. then comes to my table and takes the table hen… I thought staff only take the hen if they ask how the food was or if we need anything else, however this was not the case. So overall literally a wast of my money & a horrible experience.. I definitely will not be coming back.

It's a Nando's but this Nando's staff cannot be faulted. Their air-conditioning was dripping on the table a little. We nudged our table back a bit and grabbed a few tissues and they came over and changed us to a nicer table. They saw and rectified with a smile and so polite. This was good old fashioned good manners. Well done to the chap serving at the till and the young man who showed us to the table.

Cheap chicken also if one of you orders beer the glass that gives you is the same as the free. Refills glass so you get a bit extra there

Ordered delivery but two items were missing. I called the restaurant and explained but the manager, Aga, was not intersted in sending me a replacement. She was no help whatsoever. Abolutely disgraceful level of customer service.

I'm from London and was travelling through. I thought to stop for a quick dinner. I eat at Nandos often, but the food here was better than usual. Chicken was really tasty, and the brocolly was not too crunchy but rather the perfect balance, which is a first. Also nice staff Well done 👏

How about telling people that they will get fined 60 quid for being in the car park while waiting for their food for over 30 mins?

We turned up with half our boy’s football team on a Saturday afternoon, and the staff genuinely could not have been more accommodating. The guy that looked after us (should have got his name - he had a beard!) pulled extra chairs and tables outside to create room for us, and all with a smile on his face and a ‘it’s no problem at all’ attitude. I don’t really write reviews, but it kind of floored me. Everyone else inside was as polite and welcoming. Completely unexpected, and I’ll be coming back.

Staff were great and checked for allergies as we sat down. Can get busy at peak times so recommend booking for a Saturday night for example. Lots of children come to this nandos for some reason which although we have no issues with, may be a problem for some. The toilets have always been clean and you see the kitchen as normal which also looked very clean.

Food was good, but they'd run out of salad options except side salad. Service was very quick, and the atmosphere is nice We were welcomed and it was explained how we could order etc. Food came out really quickly. All in all we had a good time

After coming in last minute, during the rush, requesting a table for 11, we was seated within 20 minutes, there was a bit of a wait for our food, however the store was busy and we was a party of 11! Our waiter (a woman with pink hair) and our host (a man with a short beard and long hair) was incredibly attentive and went the extra mile for us, despite how busy the restaurant was.

Whilst out of the way, it is well maintained and good. Great for take away pick ups as it's not in the town center.

Nandos has been changing over the years for the better, mostly. A few years ago they seemed to prioritise profits over value, by reducing portion sizes and increasing prices, it seems that the public have spoken and the company has listened. The basic Nandos' philosophy of well seasoned food that is well cooked is difficult to beat. Nandos is not cheap anymore, but with larger portions and increased options seems to be paying off. They have introduced Mac& Cheese to the menu and it seems to be a winner. The public can now purchase Nando sauces at the tills. The wife always does a takeaway of chicken wings, and it never disappoints.

Always find the staff very polite and helpful. Always clean and efficient.

Food is standard, just like any other Nandos. But staff makes this place standout. We just had dinner this evening and everything in this place seems organized.

You can't go wrong with a Nandos. We go once a fortnight for a Saturday lunch. We always get a table quickly (2 people) and the food, ordered from the app, comes speedy too. Can't knock it.

Absolutely shocking!!!.. My chicken burger was cold!!. Replaced with wrong sauce, staff didn't care. The female cook was eyeballing and giving me dirty looks, hence wrong sauce coming out. Thank God fir Greg's!!!!

This Nandos branch used to be the best. Alas recent experiences have been below par. Most recently undercooked chicken.

Lovely atmosphere and seating with space between tables, staff super nice and fast food service. Great food as well. Free parking just don't park in the area right outside as limited stay, use bigger car park. All in all very good dining out experience. If you want can be in and out quickly or stay longer as not hurried to move on.

Can only comment on the Takeout experience. The food was your typical Nandos quality and style, hard to judge the atmosphere but l99ked very nice. The service was excellent. We turned up on a busy Friday evening, and were picking up an order for five us, so nit a small order. We were out in 20 minutes in total.

Disgusting restaurant! The guy who claims to be manager(shaved head wearing beige jumper today) has an appalling attitude to those who collect and deliver their food in partnership. Female staff member Aga also has the same abhorrent attitude and both are now accusing without good reason or even any evidence that those of us that collect and deliver the restaurants food on their behalf are thieves. Can’t imagine that they treat customers with any more respect either.

Always click and collect from here for my lunch, quick food with a good quality to them. Lovely atmosphere when I have eaten inside nice and quiet not hectic or super busy.

The service was great. The food was amazing as always. The food didn't take very long to come out either, considering there were 15 of us, within 10 - 15 mins the food was out for all of us. Highly recommended for anyone.

We were actually on our way to Greggs and decided to stop in here instead, boy do we wish we hadn’t! The staff were friendly, no problem there! The food was not great at all. One of our burgers was cold and tasted as if it was fresh from the fridge and the bun on the other was so hard in amazed I didn’t break a tooth. Don’t look up!! The fixtures and fittings above the tables are thick with a lovely layer of dust. The place just generally is in need of some TLC. And the bottomless soda machine, no working, typical really, one way for them to save money I guess! I wouldn’t recommend it and I certainly won’t be back!

Parking is a joke, total ripoff.. went over few minutes because of 5 weeks old baby, appealed parking company got refused then appealed POPLA and got refused again.. paid £100 fine for a £54 meal. 😡 This is what we get to give them business and pay fines. Will never use this restaurant again..

Inform your new customers about 30 min only parking. Was fined twice for £200 to park in front Nandose..

It was my First visit to Nandos , and it didn't disappoint me , the food , service and the atmosphere was wonderful, I loved the chicken liver and it is making me feel like going again 😊, that's the way It should be , the service was top notch and I would absolutely recommend going here , though there is a wait for the seats, which is booked by scanning the QR code and waiting for your turn , but it's worth it , will recommend this place 👍👍👍

Food coming out was slow and when one of my items was cold and I returned it it never came back from the kitchen!

I haven't been to Nando's in a long time but the few time's I have been here the food was amazing the staff were super nice and it wasn't that expensive.

absolute joke, we have ordered twice from this restaurant and they forget the chicken for my meal each time. seriously get staff that use thier eyes and put the correct order together.

Always pretty poor service at this Nandos. From the fact they say garlic bread isn’t available (on the app) but consistently coming out on orders even when leaving the restaurant (order at till orders I assume). The shocking part is they put a sofa as a waiting area just inside the door and you’re not allowed to sit there to wait as it could be fire risk…WHY put it there then?! Slow service, slow to get a table despite tables being empty. Pretty poor as Nandos go!

I visited nandos to buy my normal meal of thighs and garlic bread and they were cooked to perfection and the service from adrian was amazing. Thank you nandos
