It was closed and I was unaware, until I visited, that it's closed all week it seems. Can't comment on food, service etc. as there was none. Nothing I've said here is untrue. You are closed most of the week and I was unaware of that. No need to get upset and I should have checked first. Certainly will not be visiting again anyway.

Me and my boyfriend walked here on a Saturday, I ordered a beef brisket and a toastie, alongside two drinks. The lady was very kind and she brought out the toastie and drinks. After a little while I went back in and asked about the missing beef brisket to which they said they had now sold out of and was really apologetic. I said it was absolutely fine I can buy something different, however the ladies were adamant to give me a full refund and asked me if I’d like to pick something else free of charge. The staff were so lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful we were really appreciative of them!

I understand everyone raves about this bakery and there was a variety of food - unfortunately within 45 minutes of selling lunch their pork belly was sold out. I loved their croissants but I feel like they try too hard with all their cakes. Even though I’m in lychpit I don’t believe I’ll come here often just because it is extremely busy and in an inconvenient location.

Open until 4.30 on Fridays, with 'lunches' served until 4.00, according to the website. We decided to swerve a takeaway last Friday night and get a sandwich, cake and coffee here instead. Shot out of work at 3.30 and arrived just after 3.45, only to be told - quite rudely - that 'food is finished'. I gestured towards the menu which also indicates a 4.00 deadline, and the lady begrudgingly went to 'speak to the kitchen'. They said they could do one of the sandwiches we wanted, but not the other. Not 'Sorry but we don't have any of that left' ... just 'No, we can't do that'. I went back to my husband and we decided to leave, not because we weren't willing to be flexible, but because of the attitude. Shame. They do great cake and breakfasts, although I avoid the full English because it's never very hot.
