This is undoubtedly one of the bakeries in the UK surpassing many of the best artisan London bakeries. The bread, cakes, savouries, toasties, rolls, biltong and droewars all fantastic quality. It is a fairly small shop so it doesn't have a vast selection but everything is baked with great skill and taste delicious. The staff go above and beyond making sure they call you by name which is a nice touch. I wish we had a shop slightly closer to me in Alresford but I think I'd be a stone heavier in no time ! Well done everyone.

Me and my boyfriend walked here on a Saturday, I ordered a beef brisket and a toastie, alongside two drinks. The lady was very kind and she brought out the toastie and drinks. After a little while I went back in and asked about the missing beef brisket to which they said they had now sold out of and was really apologetic. I said it was absolutely fine I can buy something different, however the ladies were adamant to give me a full refund and asked me if I’d like to pick something else free of charge. The staff were so lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful we were really appreciative of them!

When visiting my relatives in Basingstoke, I find the Hatch the best place for a good meal in good surroundings. It's very popular and worth booking in advance. Then there's still the problem of finding a parking space when you get there! The menu is varied and I have no difficulty in trying something new there, should I wish to. Meals are of very good quality and usually delicious. I've always found the staff here very friendly and totally efficient. The Hatch has beautiful gardens and outdoor seating should the weather be good enough. Highly recommended.

Had my wedding here back in September and it was amazing! The team there where so helpful with the last minute changes that had to be made. Flo and her wedding/event team where awesome couldn't thank everyone enough! 😁

Sunday lunchtime at the Gamekeepers a really lovely experience. Service was very good, a warm and cosy environment, not rushed. The menu was lovely and versatile as you could have starters as mains. We both had the game cottage pie which was delicious. The accompanying vegetable was perfect, loved the beetroot! A delight and we will definitely be eating here again, such a find near Basingstoke. Well done 😊😊

So great to see Jimbo and Stevo back at The Crown. Had a great meal this evening. Steve did a wonderful diary and gluten free meal for a fussy member of our group at the last minute without any notice. Such a nice vibe to this Village pub.

Decent takeaway food no complaints

Visiting family in the area for New Year's eve. Called at this store for last minute essentials. The staff working were very friendly and helpful with a genuine smile on their faces.

Very good food, service and prices. Excellent service from one of the waitresses today 01.02.25. Recommended.

Boxing Day lunch Fabulous 👌🏼 We were made to feel welcome from when we arrived until we left. The staff were attentive, without being intrusive. They were super polite, helpful and efficient. The environment was clean and tidy, we all commented that despite of a large number of covers, there was no outward stress from staff. Food was delivered at a good pace, and was hot and delicious. At no point did we feel rushed despite being i a specific time allocation.

I order food from here quite a lot and the more I order it’s become hit and miss. Ok so I ordered dinner for my wife and I and I have got to say I was very disappointed the naan was not fresh but bought by them in a bag as it was very doughy( I no my naans) secondly the curry was just not good, very very disappointing but I think it time I find another Indian sorry Cromwell but you have let me down several times!!!

Nice food and good selection. Quick to serve and can order at table through their qr code. Outside seating. I had the burger which was good.
