The Street Bakeshop in Basingstoke and Deane

Me and my boyfriend walked here on a Saturday, I ordered a beef brisket and a toastie, alongside two drinks. The lady was very kind and she brought out the toastie and drinks. After a little while I went back in and asked about the missing beef brisket to which they said they had now sold out of and was really apologetic. I said it was absolutely fine I can buy something different, however the ladies were adamant to give me a full refund and asked me if I’d like to pick something else free of charge. The staff were so lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful we were really appreciative of them!

Outstanding food. Worth every penny and great service from the staff. Had the pulled pork sandwich and a cheest and ham toastie.

First time visiting & really impressed. Gorgeous setting & staff were super friendly. So much choice, and so hard to make a decision! Will need to go back VERY SOON!!

This is one of my favourite cafes in the area, fabulous cakes but the service is sooooioo slow. The long wait for coffee is getting ridiculous, I fear time to find somewhere else.

Can't recommend this hidden treasure enough! The choice of homemade bakes is fantastic and the drinks taste incredible! I love how you can see the bakers at work and while it is a small premises, it always feels so warm and welcoming! It is very busy and parking can be tricky but it is well worth the queue! It isn't cheap but it is worth every penny! A real treat!
