Shocking service, Alicia was awful why have you still got her employed. Should’ve gone to las iguanas, so much better service. Never again.

Great place for a cosy Lunch/Brunch with friends or family. Food was tasty but I am taking a star due to the bread that was served with the hummus. Looked like a very cheap white bread and very dry - not the best to combine with hummus specially when flat bread can be found in any supermarket these days. Overall really good service and would definitely come back.

Staff and atmosphere was amazing here! All the staff very welcoming. Wasn’t impressed with the salmon fillet though and “coincidentally” after eating here a few hours of the salmon repeating on me I finally had an explosion from the bottom end! Gross! I can’t help but think this salmon played a part. It was over cooked and there was too much pea mint purée. The other party had the cozy beef burger with fries which was delicious and was all gone. In addition…. THE YUMMIEST Miso Caramel custard tart was phenomenal for dessert. Probably give this place another go but def won’t be eating salmon for a while … anywhere!

Never a bad meal here and their arancini is wonderful. Great service and cocktails.

Went for the 1st time for a birthday meal,recently being diagnosed as a celiac and the staff were so helpful,knowledgeable of the foods and made me feel so secure eating there We will be back !

Water offered on arrival , didn't partake as Glass cracked. The Fish finger Sandwich was poor quality Fish and the Vegan Burger was Lukewarm and contained soggy Tomato and Hard Bun . The only saving grace were the replacement Fries , that had previously arrived greasy and cold . We will not be dining here again.

Went for a birthday, felt it was so busy didn't bother asking to get birthday cakes out. Food is nothing special and available elsewhere!

Food was pretty good with the stand out dish being the starter pork belly bites. Good selection of non-alcoholic options. Definitely cosy with a nice atmosphere and we were very well looked after by our helpful and friendly waiter Harrison. Thanks!

Cosy Clubs never let you down. The food is good, plenty of good veggie options and the service is brilliant. This is our go-to place in Basingstoke. However, Cosy Clubs are normally not very cosy so sometimes the atmosphere is lacking but it's always busy so you don't always feel it.

Popped into Cosy Club for a pre cinema dinner. Good choice of food on menu I had the sesame salmon and my wife had the vintage cheedar pie. Was looked after by Harrison who provided an excellent service.

Cosy by name cosy by nature. Went for lunch with my wife, and we had the house burger with a cheeky beer. Then, after lunch, we sat in the bar area on the comfy sofa and had a few cocktails 🍸, great afternoon. Good food great service, very nice atmosphere 👌

Yes, been here with my wife and my little boy! Once we arrived at the reception we have been welcoming with smile! Was really busy evening with lots of customers! We been invited to our table and handed over the menus including the Christmas which unfortunately you can't have it if not everyone goes for it, but a la carte was good enough! Quickly we received the high chair and the lovely lady from Poland come over with water and introducing her self. I've seen few managers been running around the place which made you feel looked after! Overall, food and service was really good! Yes, definitely come back for my Cruzcampo! ❤️

Amazing meal, food was so well presented, good portions. Connar, our server was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for him throughout our stay. Restaurant decor is also so lovely, 100% will be coming back soon!

Beautiful restaurant for the decor and atmosphere. Cocktails were absolutely delicious and good value. Food was exceptional- hot, freshly cooked and good portions. The waiter Connar looked after us and he was very friendly, efficient and kind. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we'll back soon!

We went for dinner and were served by Connar. His service was fantastic, friendly, chatty and polite. Food was amazing! We had the pork belly and Asian chicken bites for starter, Spanish chicken and sesame salmon for mains and the apple tart and sticky toffee pudding for mains, and a couple of cocktails. All were delicious! Atmosphere was 10/10. Will definitely be returning. Thank you to Connar for making our evening even more enjoyable.

Staff super friendly and food was yummy . The only downside was there was a few things not available on the menu.

Understaffed for a Saturday Night. Food is pricey for the quality. Tables should be cleared of old plates and glasses within 2 hours. Nevertheless it was busy and the atmosphere was good

Great food tonight and fantastic service from the tall young lad who was our server. Never had such attentive refills on table water before!

The place is nice, it has a good vibe to it and the staff were very attentive and friendly. But the food, my burger was way over cooked and dry, it was not worth eating to be honest. A great experience but unfortunately let down by an awful burger. I won't be returning.

Dinner with work colleagues visiting from the US. Staff were friendly; we were served by Harrison, who was very efficient. Food and drink arrived pretty quickly and was really tasty - we were all happy! An enjoyable visit.

Lovely atmosphere, good/reasonably priced menu including GF, vegetarian & vegan options - something for everyone. If you are lucky enough to be served by Louise you are in for a treat - her efficient and friendly service made everyone's day.

Visited to celebrate a family birthday. Excellent atmosphere and great quality food and drinks. Staff were very accommodating - I contacted a few hours in advance to ask about bringing a birthday cake and had a response within 20 minutes. Would recommend. We had a fun family meal before heading to a comedy show. We were really sorry that we didn't have any cash on us to tip Harrison... who looked after us really well...so this review is to let his management know what a credit he is to them. Thanks Harrison!

First time visit here for our group of 4 the other evening. The decor is superbly Victoriana, the staff modern and trendy. The food and drink was excellent and the service, excellent. An early evening dinner meant the venue wasn't heaving . . . Oh, and it is just a very short walk from the Vue cinema.

Went for dinner here last night, it was our first visit to the restaurant. I ordered the Buttermilk Chicken & Chips, the meal was ruined before it left the kitchen. Both the chicken and chips were so over seasoned with salt, I couldn’t eat it. All I could taste was salt, it was horrible. I mentioned it to the waiter, to which he replied “I’m sorry to hear that, do you want your dinner put in a takeaway box?” Really? I didn’t get offered an alternative meal or a refund on the meal I didn’t eat! So, I left the restaurant still feeling hungry and £16 lighter having paid for a meal I didn’t have. On leaving the restaurant, the waiter said, “hopefully next time your dinner here won’t be salty.” Trying to be funny when I was already feeling quite frustrated didn’t help matters! You should let customers season their own food and not assume everyone wants a gallon of salt on their dinner!

My sister booked us here for brunch on a Christmas shopping trio,the interior is so fancy like stepping back in time the waitress we had Louise she couldn't do more for us I think she had to be one of the most friendliest and happy waitress I've ever been served by.The plate sizes were on the small sizes food was nice but it did make you feel hungry still,the only disappointing thing about this place was the hot chocolate it looked really nice but had to be one of the worse tasting I've had

Starter turned up with main course so we returned it, everything was overcooked and crunchy, plates were stone cold so food was very quickly, all in all not a pleasant experience

This is usually one of my favourite spots for food/coffee in Basingstoke therefore I was very disappointed when I took a friend with me who was visiting, and the experience was really not great. Our drinks order arrived after the breakfast, the poached eggs were really hard, the coffee was not as good as usual (I didn't even drink it) and my son's cheese was not melted for cheesy beans on toast like it usually is. We were not given a chance to feedback because no member of staff returned to us once the food had been given to us, not even with the spread I had requested for my toast. I hope the quality of food, drinks and service returns to normal next time I visit.

We were blown away! Took the whole family, the food was amazing - very hard to believe it was a chain, the food was that good. The Basingstoke restaurant is absolutely stunning - no idea what the other ones look like but it made you feel as though you were somewhere incredibly special. Would highly recommend it.

Have visited here on a number of occasions. Sat by a very large Xmas group, it was shame they they did not realise and when smaller tables became available away from the group they could have asked if we wanted to move Advocado missing from one of our meals and they did not inform us. When questioned that quickly came back and said the kitchen had run out. Not a good service point. They should already know and either remove the item or tell us when ordering. An offer of a comp drink was offered. But only after we raised the issue. Otherwise the food was good. Service was ok (busy Xmas night)

Further to my earlier review, please note that their ordering system appears to be chaotic, and both my first choices from the menu were unavailable. This is England, of course, where nothing works after 13 years of incompetence and corruption at the top.

It took 10 minutes from being sat to be given a drink, a further 10 minutes to be asked for food and then we proceeded to wait over an hour for said food to arrive. The waiting staff was polite and cordial, but the time of waiting for service was ridiculous. We had booked in advanced; so this couldn’t be a matter of limited availability/time.

Food always good, and great selection of gluten free options which is why we often choose Cosy Club for lunch out, but why is it every time we eat in Cosy Club Basingstoke it takes nearly an hour for the food to arrive? At Cosy Club Guildford never had to wait more than 15 minutes but Cosy Club Basingstoke each time it’s a 45-60 minutes wait. Makes no sense, it’s only quick simple dishes so no reason it should take so much longer on one restaurant to the other to be served?

We love coming here the staff are so welcoming. Today we popped in with our dog he’s quite fussy with treats. Bless the waitress she came back with a yummie sausage for him. I wish I got her name as she was so lovely. Thank you guys see you again soon xx

I like the venue a lot. It is quite dark which makes it hard to read the menu, but does add to the cosiness. Starter was not great, but Main course food was nice. Although 2.50 for two small mushrooms was a bit of a joke. See pic.

Quiet and relaxing place to eat - the service staff are fantastic. My dirty butty was fantastic, however the food for the other members of our party wasn't as good.

Waited over an hour for a watery, tasteless and VERY expensive brunch. The veggie sausages were the worst I've ever eaten. You get a much better, cheaper breakfast just a few meters along at The Angel.

Hadn't booked but they found us a table near the bar. The food was great, the staff were friendly but not annoying and we would eat here again. A choice of veggie mains.

We had a great time. Staff were fab food was lovely despite a few things not being available from the menu. Jake in the hat was a great server and deserves a special mention. We have been here before and never had a bad meal and the service has always been great.

Food is great, however we ordered 4 different things between two of us, both times they did not have these to offer. Before this we ordered our drink. We would not have had our drinks if we knew anything on the menu we wanted was not going to be available we would’ve left there and then. Waited for 15 minutes for the bill after asking. It was a Sunday evening so the restaurant wasn’t even busy.

We're semi regulars here now; most of the time we're just having a cocktail or two - which is fantastic; brilliant, relaxed atmosphere, good music, and really good cocktails! Sometimes we come here for dinner too which is solid - above average pub food, paired with really lovely staff, very comfortable seating, and an interesting interior with things to discover, even if you're coming here for the 50th time!

Had a warm welcome from the minute we stepped in and the staff were aware that we had to be out for a show at 7.15. Drinks came quickly and food followed after a suitable time. All six of us were pleased with the meals...

Popped in after work and met Connor who is a lovely addition to your team. He is not only personal with every customer, but also is adapting to each and every one. My daughter loved being here because of Connor! Would recommend to everyone!

I was greeted by a young man with an excellent moustache! He was very polite and thoughtful when seating us, asking about allergies and offering drinks as we sat. My friend and I were checked on every so often which ensured a positive evening. Overall the experience of Cosy Club felt very warm and relaxing.

Excellent place for snacks, meals or just drinks. Went there for lunch and had the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, which was delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful, location and decor good. Major plus, toilets were clean and tidy. Will definitely go again.

Went on a weekend, and the place was understandably busy. Service was slow due to this, but still done in a very friendly way - can't fault the people working there, just need more of them. Food was excellent

Sluggish service from the point you enter till you leave. Got wrong food order, food took so long to arrive and it was lukewarm. Toilets were not clean. One time visit. Won't be back.

I stood at an empty bar and was ignored by the bar staff - only for other staff members to come and get served drinks in front of me. The issue was raised there and then by my girlfriend and the toxic staff took no...

I really liked the ambience, however the service left a LOT to be desired. I bought my drink and asked for a food menu, I was told they'd bring it down to me, I'm still waiting...despite asking again. I was sitting outside and was told the drinks menu was on the table and they'd be out to take my order, I ended up going in and up to the bar, it was just not good service. The staff were nice but not attentive, I think they'd be happy to sit around chatting amongst themselves.

Stood at the bar on my own for 5 minutes, 2 staff members turn up and get served ahead of me... then staff act as if I am stupid. This was raised by my Girlfriend that evening and staff didnt care, plus I have already directly contacted them to make a complaint and had nothing back. Place is a joke.

Fabulous experience at Cosy Club tonight - my son has recently been diagnosed as celiac and worries about what he can eat... Cosy Club had a whole separate GF menu with loads of choice. Came in for late dinner, was treated really well. Farron our waitress was very attentive and nice, making sure we had everything we needed. All other staff that came and served us too(including the restaurant manager) we’re professional and amazing. 100% going again

We went to celebrate my fiance birthday, and this was ruined a little bit. I have ordered a falt steak (well done) with garlic parmesan butter. When this was served waitress told me that this is well done and when I asked about the additional sauce he did say this was grilled under the steak. My steak was medium , and there was no garlic/parmesan/butter taste at all.Also every additional sauce coming with a little pot for the steak. We have paid our bill , but the whole situation was so disappointing.

We come across this place and thought it would be nice to try out. On arrival we were greeting nicely and seated. The server offered us some water which we happily accepted. We then went to order a interesting sounding all day breakfast. Unfortunately it wasn’t to my liking and was very salty! My other half wasn’t too impressed either. The highlight was the sausages for me they weren’t salty! The beans were meant to be with chorizo but I couldn’t taste or see any chorizo in them. (Just standard beans!) I can’t really comment on much else as we hasn’t been here before. They do cater for Gluten free if you did wish to try the place out.

Came here for a meal with colleagues whilst away with work and have to say the burger I picked was delicious, it wasn't massively well presented but it tasted better than it looked. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Would deffo come back when next in the area

Popped In for a quick drink and was served strait away by our server Kristen she was absolutely immaculate couldn’t fault her at all, was happy to have a nice talk and got our drinks done and sorted strait away. If possible please make Sure she is accommodated for her efforts.

We went with our 2 granddaughters, aged 4 and 7. The staff at The Cosy Club were all amazing, really good with the children, and the food was really nice. Kids menu is just right. Thank you all.

Food is great, lovely cocktails and friendly staff. All in all, it's a great place to go with family or friends. Parking is available in the multi-storey car park. You can take young children there as they have highchair, due to being on one level, wheelchair users can get in. They do ask if you have any dietary or allergies once you arrive.
