Tesco Express Lychpit in Basingstoke and Deane

Since the new fridges went in, it's utterly pathetic. You need night workers filling shelves, staff that can work a till and smile.. not hard

Visiting family in the area for New Year's eve. Called at this store for last minute essentials. The staff working were very friendly and helpful with a genuine smile on their faces.

Since refurb, shelves usually half empty, low stock, prices have shot up , staff ( especially during day) unavailable to work tills, one staff member in particular extremely rude, cages all over floor…… sadly, NOT an improvement!!!

Plenty of parking, plenty of choice in store

Mad dash for baccy of all things after finding main Tesco Cigarette/ tobacco counter closes at 9pm now. Pleased to find that Lychpit Tesco Express still serves from baccy counter until 11pm. I know, I should stop smoking, I will, soon! Friendly staff 🙃👾

I do like the staff here as they are so friendly and helpful, especially when all the stupid self service machines go wrong. I now avoid using self service as the technology is just not fit for purpose plus, it’s so much more human to talk to a real person behind the till. I also don’t want shop workers to be made redundant just so that the fat cats in charge can make even more greedy profits.

Decent store not alot what you need when you need nice staff

Shambles. Never have carrier bags.. and if you want to ask staff for help, forget it…. Nowhere to be seen. Aisles rammed with cages so you can’t get to shelves, older people struggling to navigate around strewn boxes. Tills unmanned, so use self service… until you need staff to clear an error, if you’re lucky one might turn up within 10 minutes. Seen so many customers give up and just walk out either without goods or without paying. Get more staff or some that want to work rather than skulking out the back.

Top place for picking up some herb

I'm not a fan of self service check outs. As that was all that seemed to be in use and no staff evident when I was there I won't be back. Not impressed by this store.

Stocks pretty much everything you need. Good range of fruit and veg and your meal deals. Self service till and plenty of staff.

Good Tesco Express. Fresh veg and fruit. If you do need a bigger Tesco’s there is one about 3 minutes drive… but for the quick essentials this is perfect.

Always busy, and the narrow car park means you often have to park quite a way from the entrance. It might be small, but they have a great range of stuff. Always helpful in an emergency.

Not bad shop good for lunchtime

Might be convenient, but price's are getting ridiculous expensive. For the amount of money the shopping centre makes it could do with a tidy up and make over it is now looking tacky.
