The best restaurants in South East

We were on a visit to Rochester and this was the first coffee shop we passed having arrived and parked. We lucked out as the almond croissants were amazing. I've never had such a good one. It's a very small cafe and a little further out of the central part of the town, but definitely worth seeking out. The service was also very friendly and the coffee was good. They had oat milk which I much prefer in latte for the creaminess.

Very good for lunch. I enjoyed their garlic mayo chicken wrap and chocolate orange tart. Would very much recommend to anyone.

Ok never again , Don’t know where to start , ok good things popadoms naan rice we’re all good. Bad things lamb tikka masala very runny sauce strange taste 6 bits of meat small, onion Bhajis very small over cooked , tarka dhall oil floating on top and again not nice taste , onion salad well just chopped onion no coriander just white onion.maybe a new chief is needed.

Oh dear. Suffice to say, you don't go here for a quiet coffee. Wanted to read my paper and mind my own business... just not possible, Too many yummy mummys taking every table with babies dumped in what looks like an unofficial creche area. It's also very expensive for what I had - a poorly made coffee which had too much hot water and too little coffee. I won't be visiting here again.

so i saw some cucumber hosomaki in the fridge and thought it look delicious but i was terribly mistaken the seaweed was incredibly watery and you could see visible wet marks in the box

Awesome experience! I went for snacks and ended up staying for cocktails. The bravas, the great croquettes! And the food on the other tables smelled very good. They recommended the Martini cocktail with passion fruit... delicious! It was also clean and the staff was attentive and close, without being overbearing. It was like being at home! Karaoke and bingo (it was Sunday), in which I took some chocolates 😊. Everything separated into two spaces, plus the back terrace, very quiet and also with a very Spanish touch. I'll have to come back hungrier!

Absolutely fantastic service from Harriet. Crepe are the best I’ve ever tasted. Chicken and bacon club, apple crumble dip and roll. Coming again tomorrow

Absolutely fantastic breakfast. Had smoked salmon and scrambled egg on sourdough. Don’t miss out on this place when going to Llanelli! Lovely staff and surroundings. I’ll be back when I’m in Llanelli!

I got a box of yesterdays cookies that was meant to be a general mix and it contains all the worst flavours. I was told there were boxes of general mix, then boxes of white chocolate, rose and cranberry and then vegan boxes. My mixed box was only rose and coconut and one cranberry. I had hoped of the six cookies in a box, there'd be one or two decent flavours but was sadly disappointed. I know they're reduced and you can't pick the flavours. But if they say it's a mixed box, and other boxes have specific flavours, I'd expect a mixed box .

We have been using this fish bar for several years the staff and service excellent as is the food. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Lovely change for me today

Had such a great evening here with our friends. The food was lovely and portions were generous. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, they really went out of their way and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Jaoa, Anisha, and staff, it was a great start to our Easter weekend. Hope to see you again soon.

What a grand fine in Gosport High street - decent food - cooked to perfection and what a brilliant menu - some traditional British food and some fantastic food with a Turkish influence - I had sourdough avocado eggs salmon with sauteed potatoes it was delish ! Staff fantastic and very friendly and welcoming .

Sadly constantly closed when I visited.
