The best restaurants in South East

Had been on a long bike ride and had never been to Bramley, so googled a place to have a drink. The Coffee nest popped up so we headed there. Went in to order and was told it would be 5 or 10 min wait as they were busy - no problem we sat down outside. After 5 mins went back in to hear ‘what can I get you’ my wife went to answer and was told ‘sorry I’m still busy’ and then the lady proceeded to serve a woman who had come into the shop after us! Possibly a local / regular but not the way to run a small business, really felt unwelcome.

I go to the Food Bank Here on a Monday Morning and What Can I Say but Thank you to Them All There ! Great Respectful Service and Wonderful Volunteers 👍😁🥇🫂👍

We ate at The Brasserie for my husband's birthday and we had a fabulous time! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was just lovely. I can't praise them enough - we had a really great evening and good value for money. Will definitely be back!

Lovely staff, and great place. Good food and live music on Wednesday night with wellness music, Thursday keyboard night with Mike Jeffery (variety music) and tutu and bowtie fun night with Kerry Burke. Also Saturday events. The jollof rice is perfect!! Would recommend this.. 👍🏼 Sadly forgot to take the pic as I was too hungry 😅

After seeing a recent Facebook notification that the Mangal was able to do gluten free fish and chips (as well as kebabs) the wife and I decided to give it a try as there’s a real struggle for decent fish and chips locally which are available as gluten free. We normally have to wait till we’re down the coast which is a shame. This is my first experience of the mangal and can safely say it won’t be my last, the staff were friendly and helpful explaining everyone to us, restaurant was exceptionally clean and from the look of the uncooked food in the fridge very well prepared and separated. Everything is made fresh for you when ordering gluten free and it tasted absolutely fantastic! The only downside is that I’m going to have to go on lots more runs to accommodate the extra visits the mangal is going to be receiving! Highly recommended

All the single ladies (bit of Beyonce there 🤣🤣), well, 5 of us from @binscombechurch, met for a fantastic Thai meal 😋 and sat outside on an available wooden table & benches to eat & chat. Food was freshly cooked and tasted great 👍. Having been well fed & fortified, we then took the long way home - walking 4.6miles through the lovely local woods and via the edge of the Loseley Estate. Friendly Team & great food 😋 👌 👍

We Go here to order delicious pizza and freshly cooked Italian food. Hidden gem of Walton. They spend the money on fresh clean ingredients made by a genuine star chef into delicious delights. Yum yum

Popped in for some lunch. My wife had ham and cheese panini, i had a bacon bap and we both had a pot of tea. Staff were friendly, pot of tea was good. Food was average. Both sandwich’s came with a few crisps. Loked like they had split a small bag of crisps between us. Panini could have done with a side salad for the price. Bacon was quite greasy and tasted like it had been microwaved. Overall nothing special. Wouldn’t visit here again to be honest.

Popped in for coffee. Service a bit too slow. This seems to be one of those places where the staff are all busy doing something but whatever it is doesn't result in simple things being done quickly. Other similar establishments locally do not suffer from this malaise, so are a better choice

We were in the area using the laundromat and lucked out with this gem. Both the pizza and drinks were awesome. Service was amazing

This was our first visit to the Old Forge but will not be the last. We went for Valentines Day and it is the first time that we have been to a Valentine's meal were there was no increase in price for the special menu. The area we were in had only 4 tables and all those present thought their food was fantastic. There is a relatively small number of choices for each course but the quality is 5 star. The venison and mushroom bon bon starter was one of the best starters I have had anywhere. Only surpassed by the rice pudding with rhubarb and ginger compote and rose petal granola. If the other courses had not also been great I would have ordered two of the dessert. The staff were all fantastic and very helpful. I cannot recommend this enough. Patrick's menu is novel, exciting and beautifully cooked
