Ben's Cookies in Reading

I got a box of yesterdays cookies that was meant to be a general mix and it contains all the worst flavours. I was told there were boxes of general mix, then boxes of white chocolate, rose and cranberry and then vegan boxes. My mixed box was only rose and coconut and one cranberry. I had hoped of the six cookies in a box, there'd be one or two decent flavours but was sadly disappointed. I know they're reduced and you can't pick the flavours. But if they say it's a mixed box, and other boxes have specific flavours, I'd expect a mixed box .

These cookies are absolutely to die for, the girl with pink hair who served me was so helpful and friendly, wouldn't go anywhere else for my chocolate fix! (Don't tell my wife, supposed to be on a diet!)

The cookies are absolutely delicious. There is a very large amount of choice. Don't hesitate. Try one.

I love Ben’s cookies! I have tried many flavors over the last few months and all of them are delicious! The cookies are big and chewy, just like they should be!

Nunca visité este lugar antes, pero habiéndolo hecho hoy, mi hijo se refiere a él como una "joya escondida". El personal era muy amable, y Joe era agradable, hablador e informativo. Terminamos comprando una caja de "galletas de ayer" que costaba 4. 25 y hay 8 galletas en la caja. Joe nos dijo que los había horneado él mismo y nos aseguró que estarían frescos durante otros 4 días más o menos. Muy impresionado y volveremos!

I have known Ben's cookies the original shop I think, since 1996 when I moved to Oxford, and they were selling them from a little tiny shop in the covered market, you had to queue and wait for the cookies to get baked to be served, they were delicious and still are. if you came late they were finished, no more, small batches. Due to a very very nice recipe being and freshly baked. The shops are all over now, London, Reading.

A single cookie is only £1.70 which is very reasonable. I had the caramelized biscuit cookie and it was super delicious. The service was great.

While visiting family popped into reading for shopping and having tried the cookies in London I had to get some more when I found out Reading had a Bens cookies! These are by far my favourite cookies, no other cookies compare. Try the cranberry and white chocolate!

These are the best fresh cookies ever. You have many choices of different types of cookies whether you want oats, coconuts, macadamias, berries, anything you want they have it, each piece is big enough and smells great. Every time you pass by broad street you can’t help but smell and buy. Prices and offers are very reasonable. Truly the best ever cookies and not over sweetened. Bravo.

These are the best cookies you can taste. For a simple reason they are freshly baked several times a day. Not too sweet and have many kinds of cookies. All sorts of chocolate, macadamia, fruits, coconut, anything you want they have. As you walk across broad street you can’t help the smell and be tempted to buy. Bravo. Can’t say know to them.

Walked pass the shop with my wife. Attracted by the cookie baking smell. Bought one with coconut and another with peanut & milk chocolate flavour. They were very nice. Will definitely visit again and try out the other flavours.

I don't see what all the hype is really- these cookies are very fat and taste more cake-like in texture. The flavours were good but I didn't like the texture, I guess it's all down to personal taste and sadly, these cookies are not for me. I'll be sticking to Millies in future- their cherry bakewell cookies are to die for!

I'm not really a cookie person so I've avoided this place for the longest time. Then one day a friend offered me one of their cookies and I was surprised to find out it was actually the best cookie I've ever had. Since then I stop by every so often. The cookies are soft and gooey, simply amazing. Try a milk chocolate chunk when it's still warm and the chocolate hasn't hardened yet, it's the best thing ever!

I am a big fan of cookies and i can say ben's does best cookies. Texture, flavour and crispness everything is there. Today i tried with their gelato and it was amazing. Worth every penny

So gooey, and moist and full of flavour. We went one day and got a cookie each thinking these would be ok, but i'm telling you i'm hooked! Will never buy a cookie from anywhere else again! They are so addictive, I don't know what they do to them. Even the next day they tasted just as fresh don't know how they do it. My mouth is watering just thinking about the chocolate orangey goodness :P

I was looking for a treat for the children and decided to go in, just to have a look... The smell invades you and your eyes get lost, you cannot decide because you want to try them all. Best cookies I ever had so far. Soft, the chocolate melts in your mouth and you will be in heaven while eating them. Yes, I recommend it, I will be going back again! Hope they decide to open up North, Greater Manchester area.

No puedo conseguir mi cabeza alrededor bastante por qué Ben's Cookies nunca ha aventurado más al norte. Bastante conocido por Londres con una tienda popular en Covent Garden me sorprendió ver uno en Leer a mudarme aquí.

Best cookie I hate ate in my life-warm, soft in the middle, crunchy on the sides. Went for the triple chocolate-almost 500 kcal in 96 grams of pure simple greatness! The place itself is small, with no seating, WC.

This is a small joint in the town center but boy do they make good cookies. The white chocolate cookie I had was soft crumbly and absolutely delicious.

We stopped at bens as my sister had raved about the cookies. The service was ok but I've had friendlier. The cookies were delicious though. I'd recommend the oat and raisin.

always fresh baked and tasty Ben's Cookies are my best. Especially the white chocolate chips and the hazelnut.Ideal for a gift as you can buy as many as you like in a tin or a box! My favorite!

Me encantan las galletas de Ben desde la tienda original en Oxford y esta es otra gran Branch. También tienen una pequeña selección de sabores ligeramente pero siguen siendo muy buena calidad y delicioso. Os recomiendo que pidáis las langostas más pequeños porque son realmente increíbles mientras todavía cálido pero están bien en cualquier momento como regalo indulgente! Disfrute!

I had once ordered a huge chocolate cookie from here. Though the time they take sometimes can be more, it was totally worth the wait. It was exactly how I wanted it to be and I was very happy! :)

Best cookies ever!!! They are baked fresh and are a bit cakey however they rare very moreish and glad Reading has this.
