Reading the other reviews on here I believe I may have just come on a bad day. £7.50 for an incredibly small breakfast sandwich without any sauce with burned bacon, overcooked egg and tough bread. Took them about 25 minutes to get around to serving it while a small Scottish gentleman frantically ran around shouting “2 minutes “ in every direction to just about anyone who would listen. I certainly wouldn’t be recommending this establishment to anyone
What a wonderful place! - we visited for breakfast ahead of our journey home to Nottingham - Wish we had found it sooner - we would have been regular visitors during our short stay in the area - On entering we were warmly greeted - The ordering process was a pleasure thanks to the friendliness and banter - Our coffee & bacon roll (probably the best I've ever had) were promptly delivered to our to our table - This place is an absolute gem - The people who live and work in this area are so lucky to have Chives on their doorstep - well done guys!
Absolutely shambolic service this afternoon, waited 45 minutes to get to the front of the queue and staff still serving people despite not having the food! Everyone at the bar fuming and demanding money back provided a hostile environment with staff continuing to take orders despite not providing the food. In the end had to get a full refund and left with no food. Avoid unless you just want drinks!
A wine & cocktail bar but told there was no white wine, one rose and one red option available. No drinks menu and only cocktails on tap. Toilet was filthy and no toilet paper, soap and door broken.
My son treated me to lunch here and OMG the full breakfast sandwhich was amazing. So glad he found this little hidden gem. I will be coming here more often now i know it exists. The lady that runs it is so friendly and approachable. My son has mental health issues and struggles with PTSD/ADHD and he feels so safe and welcome too. HIghly recommend next time you are in aldershot.
Unit 15 Riverside Level The Oracle Centre, England
We had the worst experience at the the Oracle Branch in Reading. The staff member, a lady of African origin, most likely Nigerian, was aggressive and abnoxious. We wanted to exchange one of the donuts for another amd she just started blasting us for no reason. Clearly not trained and not fit to be In a customer facing job. The matter got so out of hand that we had to call the Mall Security to intervene. The branch manager was nowhere to be seen. Can you imagine the unnecessary stress just to eat a donut!!! The management needs to address this issue with urgency, otherwise that staff member will successfully shut that branch. Feel totally disappointed and violated!!! Incident happened at 2pm on 5th April 2022.
Went in yesterday at 18.22 and got served by a rude and ridiculous cashier who didn't have a name tag so can't say her name, it was a basket checkout, spent over £40 and she didn't want to give me a parking refund telling me I have to bring the car park ticket with me!!! From what I heard if you spend over £10 you're suppose to get it, it's only 0.60p!!! The self checkout doesn't want to see the ticket so why are cashiers doing that!? Shouldn't it be automatic when you're over £10? So second visit in 2 weeks that upset me so won't be returning until they speak to the staff about their behaviour, also bread that's really short dated, how am I suppose to eat the whole thing in a day?!

The staff here are unbelievably rude and disrespectful. They have zero sense of professionalism or basic manners. It felt like they were doing me a favor just by acknowledging my presence. Absolutely pathetic attitude. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.
Just eaten here with friends for the 2 nd time. Had smash burgers loaded fries and popcorn prawns. All the food was so tasty and mouthwatering. Great prices as well. New owners have done a great job, updating the decor inside and out. well worth a visit. Dogs welcome and lovely garden area.

I worked 2 years in Mayfair London and allways pay attention to details, staff are lovely and cautious with the step of service, price for food was good. I enjoyed the fact that they do their own artworks so you can purchase to support new talents, Music background was good and ill be back for the soup of the day. ;)
