Rather dingy, more a drinking hole than an eatery

Full of underage drinkers, awful music , dirty broken pool table , residents of George street often complain.

Good cider on tap. Very cosy atmosphere. Nice place to people watch. Didn't have any food but it looked like substantial portions and smelled good. Could loose the pool table though if I was being picky as it's quite noisy sometimes with kids dropping the pool cues.

The girls behind the bar were lovely and the food was decent, but the kitchen got our order wrong and when time came to pay the bill the manager/owner was incredibly rude to us and his staff. When we pointed out to him how he was acting, he responded they're my staff I pay them I'll talk to them however I want. The 4 stars are for the girls as they were really good with the kids but I could never recommend this place to anyone based on the owner.

Very nice wine and beer, was even given a free chicken kebab. It was surprisingly quiet considering how nice it is. The only criticism was that the music was very loud.

I do not understand why this wine bar is not full of people , The food mezzo which is £9,95 is Amazing there is about 9 dishes in that , and they are not small , The only thing is the seating outside which is very uncomfortable , needs to be smaller chairs table’s as the pavement is very lumpy , and you are in danger of falling of your chair

The Royal Victoria Hotel in St Leonard’s on Sea is a bit of a blast from the past, but in the best way! Yes, it’s got that faded glamour look—think vintage charm with a few miles on the clock. But at £130 for a huge suite complete with living room, bedroom, and bathroom, I’d call it a first-class 3-star that’s well worth the ticket. Our suite was spacious enough to stretch out like a transatlantic long-haul, with views over the sea that could rival any business class window seat. The bed? Very comfortable, with all the essentials on hand—nothing over the top, but everything you need for a pleasant stay. The decor might be a bit tired, but that almost adds to the charm, giving you the feeling you’ve stepped into another era. And let’s face it, sometimes a bit of nostalgia makes the experience. For what you pay, this hotel is pure value. Sure, it’s not a five-star luxury spot, but it’s a comfy, no-fuss option for those who appreciate a bit of character with their seafront views. After a long day of exploring Hastings, it was the perfect place to come back and relax. If you’re after glamour, maybe look elsewhere—but if you want a spacious, comfortable stay with a touch of history, the Royal Victoria offers a memorable layover by the sea.

Croissant and scones good. Coffee ok. Would love a better range of cake. I don't get why dogs aren't allowed inside. Many other bakeries, both takeaway and eat in, appear not to have a problem with them, and given the narrow pavements outside, I'd rather the dogs weren't taking up the pathways.
