Shame as it used to be really good. Now chicken is dry. Theh have put there prices up but the food has gone down hill

Chicken was cold also the chips binned it

Takeaway was stone old when delivered chicken and chips not usually like this but binned it won't be ordering this again been using them for over 2years first time it's been delivered stone cold

Absolutely disgusted with how unprofessional the manager is calling customers liars down the phone And to their faces I spent 40 pound on a meal last night for my children for it to turn up cold like he had just come out the freezer when we phoned up to complain we was told oh my God multiple doubt times down phone also calling us liars. I then pay for a taxi to take the food back after them tells us bring it back we will not replace or frund us so in the end it cost us 60 for a family of 4. This is not how you treat customers and a business to. I have been a loyal customer for over 8 years now since this place opened. Just show what loyalty to your customers look like. Rather go somewhere else where loyalty and respect to the customer is given. We pay your wages!!!!! never a again

Absolutly shocking! The food itsself is always lovely HOWEVER when i ordered tonight through just eat and they missed a chicken wrap (main part of the meal) i called them to be told the item missed was there because they put them in and they cant help me. Spent just under £40 and they cant even be reasonable!

Disgusting… absolutely disgusting…. My partner started violently vomiting after taking a few of bites.. food was cold & we live a stones throw so no reason for it to be cold.. hand on heart the worst place I’ve ever eaten from & should not be open to the public! Chicken was under-cooked! please avoid! I checked the reviews here but it was to late.. don’t make the same mistake I did I’m serious.

Ordered on Uber eats last Saturday , took 30 minutes which was amazing for a Saturday night the chip portions where large and tasty definitely recommend would buy again

Tired famous fired chicken for the first time. It was lovely however it's was luke warm when it arrived but it's a fair distance to our house. Will order again. Nice potion sizss too

Ordered spicy meal deal from here. Wings were really stall with a bad odour. Bbq ribs were terrible again with bad odour. Made me sick. Fries were cold. Waste of money. Would not order again from this place.

When we arrived the staff were rude and unresponsive when we recieved our order of hot wings meal the chicken was slimy and greasy some of the chicken was remarkably cooked and edible but the other 3 wings were still walking and clucking overall I don’t recommend anyone to go here unless they are trying to buy live chicken

I've had to downgrade my review of this place from 5 to 2 stars. The last few meals I had from here the chicken was greasy and the coating was a thin hard crust. I assume whoever knew how to cook the food has left.

Just tryer this place while working in Hastings. Defo one of the best I've tryed. Really nice and not pricey. If in Hastings again Id use again

Ordered takeaway and delivery......and the food was a truly horrendous experience.....fatty ribs.in disgusting goo of a sauce...soggy battered chicken strips....cold chips, that were disgustingly undercooked.....burn t burger meat....we won t be returning to this establishment.....the worst food I ve ever ordered!

I live 100 metres from this place. They have charged £3.99 delivery, plus service charge of 50p! That is an outrageous rip-off, and not able to cancel order! Delivery has cost almost as much as the food! It’s just not right!

Prices have gone up which I understand, but the chicken burgers were tiny, I've paid more and got less, I feel cheated😕

Will not be eating here again. We ordered Sunday night and none of my family were impressed. I since have been suffering with food poisoning. Was up all night and all morning yesterday and could not move out of bed. I have still not been able to eat since Sunday night. Avoid.

I like your chicken but you need to be open earlier 4 is just way too late other chicken shops know that opening earlier boosts your income

Order placed on deliveroo. After reading a few reviews we thought we would try here. The chips were dry and cold the chicken wings were cold and the plain ones clearly were not plain but spicy, the ribs were terrible the little meat on them were dry and tough mostly gristle and bone very disappointed

Just ordered a chicken burger meal for me and Mr, which arrived fast and tasted so good. Portions were good sizes, and all food arrived hot. Highly recommend and give a very easy 5 star review. Will be ordering again for sure.

It ain't perfectly consistent, but for the price it consistently smashes the local competition. I was torn between 4 stars and 5 stars, settled with 5 stars for their (un)healthy portions of fries ;P FFC - only thing i could say that needs improvement is your gravy, sometimes it's a bit rough. Other than that you're golden.

I will never be returning to this "chicken" shop. I ordered a rib meal and the ribs are genuinely disgusting, full of fat, no meat and taste awful. The gravy looks like the oil from the back of their fryer with brown food colouring added, as if they was like "that'll do". If I could leave a picture of both items I would I am dumbfounded as to how people find this place acceptable. The staff also called me and told me my address didn't exist even though it was all on JustEat and get many deliveries a week from that app. Very disappointing. (additional comment) I called the restaurant to let them know I was very unsatisfied with my purchase and instead of an apology the rude staff hung up on me, I was not rude in anyway so rather uncalled for. Would of left 0 stars if I could, don't deserve 1!

Ordered here for the first time as used to go to Hastings Fried Chicken but got fed up with our food always wrong, soggy and luke warm. Here was really good. Ordered and arrived within around 20mins. Really good prices and portions. Really hot when arrived and was all fresh. Lovely chicken. Couldn't fault It. Will come here again.

My partners order and his parents order were fine. But I order bbq wings and they didn’t specify that they were also going to be spicy. Also, me and my partner could not tell the difference between the spicy wrap and the bbq wrap

Delivery took 1hr45mins. They forgot one of the sides and the burger had no top to the bun! Not a very good experience, my usual takeaway was closed so thought I'd chance but dont think I'll order again.

Famous fried chicken is an amazing local chicken shop, the food is great and service is always satisfactory

The chicken and wings are delicious, 100% the best no fault. The real issue is their delivery guy, he was aggressive and rude. I left a note on JustEat app asking for him to knocking on my inside porch door or I won't hear anything. When I heard a knock it took me 10-20 seconds to walk to my door and he was already getting in his car! I flagged him down and he was so rude and accusatory, saying 'I've been knocking!' angrily. He was visibly angry having to walk the few meters back to my door (I couldn't go outside, was in pjs) I explained I was ill and had to get out of bed and was very upset, I really don't know why I apologised to him, after he shoved the bag at me, I'd done nothing wrong. I was really upset by the whole encounter. I love the food but will not order here again. If you do order here, be ready and waiting by the door until your food arrives or suffer this idiots impatience and tamtrum.

Really enjoy the chips.. The chicken is hit nd miss.. Sometimes I've had great chicken but at times I've had slimy chicken.. But overall it is a good place to get a take out from..

Terrible. Twice I asked for legs and was given thighs. Bland, dry soggy tasteless chicken.

I was told the store was closed at 22:47 - the sign reads 23:00. I understand staff want to leave for the night, but atleast serve until closing time surely.

Went here on a whim really because KFC in ore is terrible now 🤦🏻‍♀️,And I must say I am pleasantly suprised! The chicken tastes like old kfc used to taste but sooo much better.Now they are on uber eats the food turns up piping hot and the gravy and chips are literally the best thing ever! Chicken is always cooked really nicely and the taste is awesome! Would reccomed definitely.

Lovely chips and chicken....eaten from here several times and really enjoyed it. Ordered delivery, when we phoned to chase it up, we were told he left 10 mins ago and had other stops so would be 20 more minutes, I didn't want foid that have been in a car for half an hour! So I cancelled the order....the man got mad and told us never to order again.

Best chicken available in Hastings. The spicy fillet burgers are utterly fabulous. Ordered midweek and at weekends and it's consistently lovely, always on time and super reasonable price wise. Would absolutely recommend famous, we don't order from anywhere else.

I used to occasionally get food from here but recently just been put off by the sheer grease. So greasy and not particularly flavoursome either.

Actually prefer this to KFC and that’s saying something.

Had a take away delivery today from here. Delivery was fast considering they are based in Mount Pleasant and I'm up near Tescos. Food was hot and tasty too and I highly recommend the bbq wings sticky and messy but delicious. Also the delivery driver was very polite and courteous. Have used these guys fit a while now. And I agree with the delivery driver who said "Best Chicken In Town"

Ordered after seeing the reviews. Was not disappointed. BBQ wings the best I have ever had.. must try! Food was fresh, chicken was lovely. fantastic chips.. didn’t even need sauce. Arrived early piping hot. Will definitely be using again

well impressed- crisp, light battered chicken, good thick gravy, chicken thoroughly cooked and still succulent-even the chicken strips were deliciously moist; accommodating staff - I preferred drumsticks were possible. Prompt efficient service with the food well wrapped, presented and piping hot; worth keeping a menu as there are special deals available; good range of select meals for most apetites. THANK YOU. literally the best fried chicken ive ever tasted.

No complaints about the food BUT don't use Hungry House app as they cancel your order. The one time I got through with HH they had a go at my young daughter saying don't use HH use Just Eat The way they said it to her upset her.
