Always go there for fish and chips

Very thin bit of cold, batter not cooked all the way through and too much of it. Had to hunt to find fish. Chips were chewy and not freshly cooked

This is the fourth week I’ve had them on a Sunday night now and it’s always been really good. I’ve only ever once found a bone and it was one time right in the tail excellent fish and chips.

Not nice.Fish was not battered and cooked before delivery.Chips like leftover from lunchtime.Threw most away.Year ago was great there but wont order again.

The staff were amazing very friendly and helpful. Suggested l try the haddock and gave me a sample, it was really good and next time l will have the haddock and chips. All of the food has always been very good and l would highly recommend them.

Great friendly service. Food was hot and tasty. Cod was delicious, good batter and tasty. Chips cooked perfectly , not soggy but proper chip shop chips. Kids meals were fab and free drink too!. Battered sausage was a great size and tasty, only negative point , which is very minor, is could of had a bit more salt n vinegar but that's personal preference.

I would highly recommend this takeaway and go as far as saying it's the best in the area (St Leonards / Hastings) - as the fish and chips are delicious and very reasonably priced. Cami and the team are always very welcoming and appreciate our business. Look no further for a tasty supper!

Chips and fish way overcooked, the chips I could barely even bite into, they were horrible, worst I’ve had in Hastings and I’ve tried them all. Also overpriced for tiny portion sizes.

Came here for the first time trying a different chippy out the ladies in there tonight were so kind and bubbly created a really nice atmosphere even though they were short staffed chips were a tiny bit too chewy for however the haddock was cooked perfectly and was really cheap aswell

Oh dear,tonights food for 4 of us was a disaster. Cost of over £35.. Cod shaped like eel ,tons and tons of batter.the regular cod ended up being a tiny amount of fish. The chips were terrible,i think the dreggs from the bottom.thin and you coudn't even get your fork in to them. What was the iceing on the cake ,i used the machine to order ,to get the 10%off.Nothing taken off?then saw on the front you have to remeber a long code to put in,to get the discount All in all one night ruined

The chips were stale and the batter on the fish was disgusting. It's a shame because because it used to be lovely, hence why I ordered from there again.

Bought 2 large cod, 2 fishcakes, 2 sausage in batter and 2 large chips. Just under £40. Won't be going back, chips were so overcooked couldn't even put fork in them. Fish was watery and tasteless. Fishcakes tasted OK, but were cold. Sausage in batter was OK, but batter overcooked again, just flaked off. Disappointing. Place looked clean, friendly staff. Easy to park.

This is got to be the worst chip shop in Saint Leonards and Hastings. The chips well leftover probably from this afternoon or yesterday and been overcooked and re-cooked more than once and rockhard Pie heated up in a microwave so the pastry was all soggy and meat was dry . Saveloy heated up in the microwave sausage and butter was so greasy you could probably fry more food with all the grease . And £16 for the privilege This is The first and last time I ever use this chip shop

Grabbed fish n chips on my home...Lady staff member v.polite. got home, v.disapointed,made a courteous call to inform them how terrible the food was, very.polite lady staff member apologised, and wished me a nice evening. Polite call, 20 mins after collection got a polite apology Therefore, our honest review: male staff member seems to have lost the will to live. Lady staff member, v.polite, fish over done though cooked fresh???? 2/10 batter terrible -2/10, old chips - horrible.... gutted, even the dog didn't want it.....

Hardworking, friendly and I'd highly recommend it. Easy road parking too. Their frying oil is quality, not the cheaper brand. And that makes a huge difference in a good old plate of fish and chips. Yum yum in my tum😀

The delivery was late and the driver just left the food on our dustbin by the door which he didn't ring bell ???

Hi. Just used Deep Blue for the first time in ages. Won't go back. Had 2 fish and chip specials, fish bites and a sausage. The batter was thick and soggy, even though it was freshly cooked. Obviously use the amount of batter to make the meal look bigger. Once the batter was taken off only a few mouthfuls of fish left. Same with the fish bites. Only good thing was the sausage. £24 wasted. Definitely need your cooking process/ingredients looked at. Very disappointed and hungry.

Delivery driver was shocking. Claimed not to have the address. Got discussed and given address over the phone, and still couldn't understand. He seemed to not be able to understand or speak much English at all. A 10 minute delivery turned into 30 minutes of stress and trying to very slowly give directions without only minor success in that we did eventually receive our food.

Quick service, reasonably priced food. Staff were very friendly. Although on the main road, I was able to park right outside with no issue. However, I can imagine parking could be a nightmare at times.

I ordered a large fish, it looked a good size but after I cut into it, there was a inch of stodgy batter surrounding a wafer fin peace of cod. Chips resemble deep fried oven chips, beans a coke are good though

We brought from this chip shop for the 1st time and will be the last time. All the portions of chips were over done and just wasn’t nice. The batter on the fish was slightly soggy. The only thing that was good is the portion sizes. We was so disappointed as we was so looking forward to some fish and chips.

The staff members are so friendly and helpful. My son and now our favourite chip shop in Hastings best chips Prices are higher then other chip shops but the quality and taste is worth it.. Offering free children meals through December no questions asked my children were made up so I'm sure we will see you again very soon. Only issue their other menu is only available online bring that menu to walks in also it would be very popular :)

I usually enjoy your food but this meal was awful! Batter was thick and stodgy and chips hard. Was it a leftover from lunchtime? Although I am finding chips,particularly, are not nice from a lot of shops. Are they different potatoes or cooked in a different oil? So for this review.

Cami & the team are always very welcoming each time I pop into shop. The quality of the food has been consistently high over a long period of time and the portions are spot on. Last but not least, the food is always well packaged and looks very professional. Well worth a visit!

It's not like it use to be. I'm sure the chips was reheated as they was very hard & let's face it I've tried a lot of chip shops over my year's they was just hard. Also the batter to the fish wasn't nice left most of the batter but the huge fish was lovely not sure what it was just said fish & chips maybe pollock they didn't say on the deal for £6.99 Fish & chips on offer.
