Breeze Cafe in Medway

They call it breakfast for 6 pound ! Its a joke ! Never but never order again from this .... not even a fastfood !

Beware you dont get over charged by 70p for a drink, because if you complain the staff will react in a rude and aggressive manor and blame covid, and still no refund. We are regular customers for many years, but that dont matter one bit. There are plenty of cafes in the high st, but by there attitude and lack of customer care they dont care if you dont come back, which is not very bright for the sake of 70p. Food was ok, but the portions are getting smaller especially the chips.

Came in for a quick bit of brunch on my own, never came here before but always considered it, I guess because it’s in Gillingham it’s a little worrying in a way because... well Gillingham highstreet. But I came in, it’s a simple enough cafe, had one of their breakfasts for £4.70 plus a coffee and it’s really good! Bit of music on in the background and the people are friendly enough, no issues at all with the food or service or price! Would come here again!

Having arrived in town for an afternoon Football match, Breeze is close to the railway station and was open on a cold New Years Day. The menu is large and typical of the traditional High Street cafe style. I arrived quite early and the customers were clearly local regulars, a good sign. Service was welcoming and the food well prepared, my omelette was very tasty. Within fifteen minutes of my arrival many tables were filled creating a good atmosphere. I would certainly call again

I used the Breeze Café in Gillingham High Street on a Saturday lunch time to meet up with some friends prior to going to a football game. The café is easy to find being located in the High street not far from the mainline railway station. Inside, the café is quite spacious and there are tables and chairs for customers reasonably well spaced .to allow you to take your seat without disturbing other diners. When I arrived, some of my group were already occupying a table and there were some other tables occupied as well though the café was not busy. I had a cup of tea, the waitress coming the table to take our order though some of my friends were having the fried breakfast which looked quite appealing. The café interior looked reasonably clean and the waitress was friendly and very helpful being familiar with some of my friends who use the café more regularly on match days. I cannot really comment on the prices since my cup of tea was brought for me, but my overall impression was that the ‘Breeze’ was a good honest café and I would certainly come back if I was in the area.

Incredible location but... I had the cheese and ham toastie with salad @ £5.95. It was just ham and some half melted cheese in toast and on the small side. The salad was barely bigger than a garnish - poor value food wise and I was hungry a few hours later.

We used go here a lot for breakfast it's cheap cheerful and good value but I made the mistake once of getting a cheeseburger with chips. Bun fell apart a nasty burger with a cheese slice and frozen fries which actually cost more than a full breakfast. Put me off ever going back again and with a number of other cafes close by you think they would make an effort with the menu and dishes !!! As I said nice breakfast but that's it. Wouldn't go back again

Been here quite a few times food is very nice and very cheap prices really like the coffe and my kids love it too defo recommend

I am biased to a degree, I come here regularly and bring Colleagues and Friends. I/We have NEVER had a bad meal or wished it could have been better. It is always well cooked, well presented, hot and very adequate in quantity. Served by the Chef or Waitresses and always with a smile and very positive attitude.

A really nice open restaurant with full air conditioning, proper tables and chairs and superb meals. There is a useful ramp at the entrance ideal for disabled visitors. This restaurant is also close to the Railway Station which is just across the road, convenient for a quick meal before boarding the train.

Went here for breakfast with a friend and we weren't disappointed with anything! I am extremely fussy about dining out and only review places I feel strongly about either good or bad and this cafe is very good! Extremely clean, one of my most important points when eating out, you can see the kitchen area from the till point as well which I took a good look at! Food arrived in extremely quick time but this didn't affect the quality of the food which was also lovely and hot. Cold breakfasts are something I've experienced many times and this wasn't one of them! Will definitely be back!

I have been to this cafe many times and always felt welcome! Good food, the portions are very good and a great choice of all day breakfasts. Excellent prices

On first sight the cafe looks nothing special....but the food is lovely...and cooked to perfection. It is a popular place for workmen to eat in, but many locals also eat here , as well as shoppers .The choice for breakfast is great and there will be something that appeals to everyone. The prices are very good value for money . ...and the sausages are the tastiest I have ever had! Staff are friendly and welcoming.....all in all a great little cafe.

When I started to stir my tea, I noticed a dead ant floating in it. Being polite, I told the owner away from the other customers about the problem which he replied "I didn't put it in there!" While eating my breakfast, I noticed what looked like a dead flee ( small with long legs) in my beans. I also noticed loads of ants everywhere on the floor I couldn't be bothered to complain so I lefted. As I walk pass the place a couple of minutes later, the owner was putting ant killer down. He must of known about the problem.

This is a cafe we use when visiting gillingham because the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable and the food quantity is certainly good. A clean tidy little cafe that certainly isn't really a 'greasy spoon'. It is fairly close to the station at the far end of the high street.

This is my favourite cafe on the high street, located in prime position on the high street. It's a typical "greasy cafe" and my breakfasts there have always hit the spot. If you go before 10am or after 4pm you get £1 off the price of any set breakfast which gives even better value. The service is friendly and food pleasant.
