Summer Palace in Medway

we buy from here a lot, tonight's meal was awful, although it was early had to microwave. chilly beef was soggy and not crispy, all tasted a bit yesterdayish.

Great food as always, no problems

have complained. food did eventually arrive but cold. delivery driver just said food warm and walked off. not happy. Tried calling restaurant loads and was either busy or when they answered was hung up on before I could enquire . had to put son to bed with a sandwich. We was looking forward to a treat after Christmas. and unfortunately totally ruined.

Charged me £91.79 for my order which never arrived and never refunded me

Cancelled my order as delivered over 1 hours early and still charged me via uber Bloke who answered the phone was so rude, when I said it’s over and hour early for a scheduled delivery and to deliver at right time, he said ‘ who are you talking to! So rude Used to like this place but it’s gone downhill with young boys as staff on their high horse AVOID AT ALL COSTS THESE DAYS

Ordered to the wrong address but driver came to alternate address - was lovely and couldn’t fault the driver at all. Thank you!

The curry was tasteless. A thin, watery sauce and overcooked chicken. Very bland.

The sweet and sour prawns were absolutely delicious.We thoroughly enjoyed the take away

loads of food sadly tasteless, no seasoning, had to add my own Soya sauce to make it edible.

The delivery was early; the flavour was great but sadly the chicken was tough and overcooked.

First time ordering for quite a while, impressed withdeli very time. realised one item was missing, then to my surprise, they then delivered item separately, before getting the chance to contact them about missing item. Very impressed by the service and food was lovely

food was delicious. this place was recommended by a neighbour our and we are really glad we tried it as all of the food was delicious! the only thing was one item was missing but it didn't ruin our meal.

Absolutely lovely food and always arrives hot but, delivery got changed and then also arrived a little late so waited close to 2hours for it. Other than that everything else was great.

Ordered my food and the delivery Driver pressed my buzzer, saw him on the camera then went to the door straight away. By the time I got to the door the driver left. Called the store and told them I was outside and the person on the phones in this place don’t need training just needs to be fired. Absolutely rude, dismissive and no customer service at all. This not the first time I have had a bad experience with the customer service. Never again 😡. Delivery driver that ended up delivering food was polite, couldn’t fault him. Food was descent, but the person on the phones rude.. please get rid of him. Looked on the reviews and noticed a few people have mentioned this. I’m not the one to leave a revue but I’m fuming.

Got charged twice for my order

Have ordered from a couple times and the food is amazing. Biggest complaint is delivery times, sometimes i genuinely could walk there faster from rainham and back before my driver has arrive at my home. They don’t not update their delivery times either on Uber eats. Currently waiting on an order placed an hour and 50 minutes ago with the estimated time of arrival being 8:30-8:55 yet it is 9:39PM. Am still waiting and when trying to call restaurant phones. Just constant ringing …

all food was cooked perfectly, piping hot amd good quality. will use again

So disappointed. It’s the more expensive choice for us so when we order it’s not often and it’s a treat. Food was late and cold. Quality of food was not at its usual standard. Unfortunately this hasn’t been the first time so I think we’ll have to look at a different takeaway

The food was well seasoned. Steve , the person who delivered my food had the best customer service and was very polite and patient.

it was alittle earlier than expected but that actually work out better for us so I'm pleased.

We didn’t receive our order, but was told it was. And when we called my partner was spoken to like rubbish! Absolutely disgusting and won’t be ordering from here again!

ordered a large order for an evening with my brother, the estimated time was 9:10 - 9:30, I called around 9:35 to get through to the owner, I expressed concerns and requested an update on the driver and whereabouts of our food, to say that the order had been delivered at 8:30, we have been downstairs with windows open by thr front door, no movement on the cameras. the driver had said they delivered it to someone with instructions via a ring door bell to place the order in the garden. disgusting!

food tasted average, chicken in the chow mein tasted like the ready to eat sandwich chicken was just thrown in. however it arrived on time and was very hot. the prawn toast was tasty

Food was luke warm, thought we would have a Chinese as it’s my partners birthdays this has massively put us off 3 out of 4 of us have been throwing up since eating this food, youngest 8 years old so not happy at all disgusting place will never order again

Chicken wasn't cooked throughly Hot and sour soup was way too sour and sweet Rice was a bit hard

Absolutely disgusting food. Hot & Sour Soup old and tasteless Vegetarian Chicken in Chilli wasn't even veggie chicken and it wasn't even spicy. They made it with sweet and sour sauce by the taste. Everything went straight in the bin. STAY AWAY!

This has to be the worst chow mein my partner and myself has ever tried. We had the House special chow mein and the meat was ever so chewy and the rest of it was horrible !!! After a few attempts of trying to eat it, it went straight in the bin. Food came 30 minutes before delivery time, so it may not of been cooked properly Spent over £30 which included puddings which i lost on. Will not be ordering from this place again. I Would of ordered from Kowah ,but they are not on Just eat as they are the best chinese

Have ordered from here many times before and it's been very nice. Tonight though was awful. Chow mein and rice had no flavour and tasted watery and the ribs were tough. Only thing with flavour was the prawn crackers. Disappointed as normally nice.

I know it was Christmas eve. I pre-ordered at 11am for 7.30pm delivery it turned up at nearly 10pm food was cold!!! disappointing. Guy on phone was equally angry with his boss for accepting more and more orders. being I pre-ordered so early I should've been top of the deliveries

The food was as fabulous as ever.

The food was hit and miss. Chow meins, chicken and cashew nuts, chicken balls and. Curry sauce were nice. The crispy chilli beef wasn't crispy or very flavoursome. The spring rolls were soft. The duck in the duck chinese style was tender but very fatty - not rendered, gave an unpleasant taste. The beef in black bean sauce was inedible, very gristly and tough - threw the whole dish away. The mushroom fried rice had very little mushrooms in it. All in all disappointing.

All good,, Rice was OK, but tasted like brown rice.

Oh dear what happened? I reviewed here for 5 stars before. Has it changed hands or chef? Came too quickly which maybe the reason it wasnt good. Such a shame the food was not good.

The chicken is terrible quality. I’d strongly recommend to try another dish if you’re considering chicken. Value for money is appalling. Will not be buying again.

Words cannot even describe how amazing this restaurant and their food is! My partner and I have been ordering from here for over 3 years and have never wanted or needed to change. The staff go above and beyond to help you and make you feel valued, and it is definitely the best Chinese takeaway I have had - never had a bad or off night from their noodles and rices to their chicken and beef dishes! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
