The best restaurants in South East

Second time I've been here. First time was great couldn't fault it though didn't order alot. This time ordered alot more fed the whole family. Food is spot on, would probably say the best Chinese iv had. None of it is greasy. Full of flavour. Great sauces. Ready in good time and a friendly lad serving. 10/10 will be going back

Our second year here, and it was well worth returning. Great food and service as well as a relaxed atmosphere. No rush for us to finish as we enjoyed after lunch coffee. Everyone had a great time. Thank you to everyone at Sun Inn, particularly Elle and of course Tip.

Absolutely terrible. I went in and to the counter to order coffee and buy a cookie for my child. I was completely ignored, there was no one in the queue and approx 3 tables of people. It was not busy at all. What would it take to say “Hi there, be with you in a mo”? I might add I’m nearly 9 months pregnant and clearly very uncomfortable (not their fault granted). Waited for 7/8 mins whilst two staff were behind the counter doing their best to ignore me and then walked out. Utterly, utterly useless. I grew up in Redhill and was back today for the first time in nearly 20 years, it is a crying shame that people have become so unbelievably rude in the area.

Came here for drinks and dessert but I received so much more, brilliant ambience and super friendly staff. Was so impressed with my service would definitely recommend:)

Unfortunately has closed down permanently..real shame as was a brilliant resturant..probably the best in port solent

Quite possibly one of the nicest flapjacks I’ve ever had! I was very surprised when I found out they were home made! Beautiful little place to stop off to break up your hike. Lovely service, and again, the flapjacks 👌

Made the mistake of popping in here for a drink & snack assuming it'd be up to the standard of other Costas. Big mistake. Tables covered in trays & dirty cups, dirty floor and nowhere to sit. Eventually moved a tray so we could sit down -- everywhere smelled pretty bad of bleach. Made the double mistake of putting my handbag on the floor where unbeknown to me there was a pile of what looked like puke that then ended up on my beige trousers. Disgusting!!! Never coming here again...

2022: We come here at least once a week. Really reasonably priced, lots of pieces of meat in it and very tasty. Staff are friendly and service is super quick too. Update 2025: more recently I ordered food from here (new management) and the roast pork and vegetables tasted like it had gone off. Had to through it all away! Really disappointing as it was one of our regular places.

I have just enjoyed a Large Chicken Kebab from Perfect Kebab which was cooked exactly as per my telephone order. It was ready at the time agreed once again excellent in every way.

Came home from holiday this evening, not done food shop, spent the day driving, so decided to order a Indian. Ordered received 2 receipts via email one with delivery time and a payment receipt. Waited.... nothing, rang several times no answer, they closed at 10.30. extremely annoyed and very hungry.

Worst Chinese I've ever had called to complain didn't seem to care

We visit regulary every few weeks the food thats served up looks very good and bags of it too.We usually go for the ploughmans lunch which never fails to please.The ingredients are very tasty and plenty of it.we have had all three variations of the ploughmans and they were all delicious.Highly reccomend this place you won't be disappointed.
